I will be starting DietWorks Garcinia Cambogia today and plan to take 3 pills per day, each 1 hour before a meal for the next 10 weeks. I am mainly looking to keep fat from accumulating around my waist and to change fat to muscle. This will be the 3rd product containing Garcinia Cambogia that I have tried. I will give you weekly updates of my progress.

Okay, one week on DietWorks Garcinia Cambogia. Did it work? Well, I am down 4 lbs., but no measurable difference in my waist. Still have 9 weeks to go, so will do another update next week. This week went to an Indian buffet and a birthday dinner for a relative, plus had pizza for lunch more than once, so calorie count averaged out to about 3000 a day. Also had chocolate cake or chocolate candies for dessert every night, so did not hold to a healthy diet. Still down 4 lbs.

I have changed my eating habits for the past 3 days and am now eating no more than 2000 calories per day. After 10 days I am now down 8 lbs. and my waist appears to be 1/2 inch smaller.

I have now been on this product for 2 weeks or 14 days. I must admit that I splurged in the last 4 days, going out to dinner with friends and relatives more than once. One was for the Chinese New Year and I went way above my daily calorie count of 2000. I was not surprised to see I had gained back a pound, but am still 7 lbs. down from my starting weight and have the same 1/2 inch off my waist that I reported 4 days ago.

I have just completed my 3rd week (21 days) on Dietworks Garcinia Cambogia. I am now down 8 lbs. and have lost an entire inch off my waist. I have not been able to keep my calories down to 2000 per day, but am still loosing belly fat.

I have now been on Dietworks Garcinia Cambogia for 4 weeks (28 days). I am down 9 lbs. and have lost 1 inch on my waist. This past week I celebrated Valentine’s day and my wife and I also celebrated our Anniversary, eating a lot of chocolate and going out on the town. I consumed as high as 3600 calories in a day. I still seem to be pretty much maintaining my weight and smaller waist dimensions, despite the bad eating habits. Hope to get back to the 2000 calories per day, soon. The amazing thing is I have noticed a six pack developing (not beer), but for the first in my life, I think I can actually see my abdominals. At first I thought it was just wrinkles or folds. In the next few weeks I will let you know if it turns out to be the real McCoy.

I have been on DietWorks Garcinia Cambogia for 30 days now and am starting on my 2nd month. I am back on my diet and hope to have more progress on my waist. Still have a total of 1 inch off my waist and am now down 11 lbs.

I just bought this at Costco and am hoping to drop 5-10 lbs by end of March. I exercise daily and eat healthy but have put on an extra 20 lbs. I am tall but they. Still want to look good in my suit for Roatan. I will report back on my progress. The reviews look promising for controlling my appetite.

This is the end of my 5th week (35 days) on DietWorks Garcinia Cambogia. I have lost 12 lbs. and have taken 1 inch off my waist. I have only taken half the bottle, which lasts for 10 weeks, but I have already reached my goal. I was not on a weight loss diet as losing weight was not my goal. I exercised very little, especially after I was already down several pounds. My main objective was to take an inch or so off my belly and to change fat into muscle. I believe that was accomplished, but in half the time.

  9. Eugene says:

I have been off DietWorks Garcinia Cambogia for a week now. In the meantime, to make sure I keep my daily calorie count below 3000, I have started taking Re-Body Hunger Chews (Appetite Control Formula). I am now down 14 lbs. and still have an inch off my waist. I have been able to keep to a 2250 daily calorie count.

  12. Darlene says:

I have read that you need 1500mg to lose weight. Has anyone taken 2 pills 3 times a day of this product? The bottle says contains 800mg per capsule.

    • Eugene says:

      Hi Darlene,
My bottle says it has 500 mg of Garcinia Cambogia per capsule and to take 1 capsule 3 times per day, each 1/2 to 2 hours before each meal. This should total the 1500 mg per day that you are talking about.

  13. Tien says:

I been taking DietWorks Garcinia Cambogia for 2 weeks. First week, took 1 capsule 3 times a day. Then read somewhere for it to take effect you have to take 1500 mg to 3000 mg a day. So, for the second week I took 2 capsules 3 times a day. Sadly to say but I haven’t lost any weight or gain any. Did I do something wrong?

    • Eugene says:

      Hi Tien,
Most products with GC suggest to take 1500 mg per day. I notice that amount seems to work for me. If you need to lose a great deal of weight, it seems that 3000 mg may be necessary, but accept for Ultimate Garcinia Cambogia, I don’t see any product that recommends taking a larger dose. I would consult with a doctor before taking a larger dose.

  14. Deanna says:

I bought the diet works at Costco as well have been on it for about a month and my calorie intake is no more then 1700 also I’m a fitness instructor and teach 4xs a week and as sad as this is to say I have not lost a single lb. I also take 2 capsules 3xs a day. I have used a different brand in past w/excellent results this could have to much fillers in it to be effective. Taking it back :(

    • Eugene says:

I took the product for only 5 weeks, mainly to change fat to muscle and to get off my heart medication. I previously was able to get off my 2 cholesterol medications and today I got the good news that my blood pressure is way down and I can discontinue taking my heart medication. So it worked for me.

    • Nicole says:

      Hi Deanna,
Just curious what were the other brands that you took with great results? Also Costco accepted the product back after you had taken a month supply of the pill? I just bought it and wanted to make sure it was one of the better Garcinia pills out there because there seem to be a lot of companies just jumping on the fad. Thanks!

  17. Jamie says:

Hi guys i just started taking garcinia yesterday. And hour after i took it i could feel the change, and even could after i ate. I am a 17-year-old girl and my doctor, my BMI, and every personalized gym i’ve been to tells me that i am obese because most of the girls my age are 110, 130 at the most and i am 187. I dont know about you guys but i research things before i tried them and this pill converts excess fat into energy by blocking the breakdown and intake of sugars and starches to a certain point. That being said, you do have to watch what you eat and exercise daily. However, if you are naturally a healthy weight and your goal is to ONLY lose 5 or ten pounds, consider that those pounds are water weight, from not drinking enough water. Your body will store water too. Or it could be from being bloated/not using the bathroom enough. Try a laxative. You may not think or feel like you are constapated but the human body can contain up to 20 lbs of feces. Its only when it gets up to that point when you start to feel bloated. Just an insider to a teenage mind, concerned about losing weight.

    • Jamie says:

Also, if you have no control what-so-ever over your hunger cravings, this pill wont exactly help. YOU have to decide when enough food is enough. Your body will listen and respond as it gets used to it. Another thing: do not confuse hunger with the pill actually working. Ive read that people sensitive to medication are more likely to feel side effects and a type of burning… No more like warm, tingling sensation in the stomach area. I experience this ???? this is not a miracle pill. You just have to understand what it does, how your body works, and how your body reacts to supplements. Take a biology or an anatomy course ??
