What you need to know about 1st Phorm Bliss

1st Phorm Bliss and the Bliss Go Pack are not straightforward weight loss supplements.

They contain a lot of ingredients, some of which are unproven for weight loss and even worse, side effects may be an issue. Many of the ingredients lack long term safety information and with the lack of research into the combination of ingredients, we feel that results are going to be unpredictable.

What Are The Side Effects Of 1st Phorm Bliss?

Some ingredients such as caffeine, green tea and the vitamins are great for health and weight loss, but stimulants such as synephrine and mood altering drugs such as Damiana may have dangerous side effects. 1 st Phorm have provided a long list of cautions and warnings so are obviously expecting problems.

How Much Does 1st Phorm Bliss Cost?

In addition, we think that 1st Phorm Bliss and the Bliss Go Pack are very expensive. $65 at least for a month’s supply is a lot of money to fork out on something that may not work or may cause side effects.

Finally, we like the guarantee but without any information about this in the terms and conditions, we in turn cannot guarantee that you will get your money back as advertised.

Our Verdict on 1st Phorm Bliss

Overall we cannot recommend 1st Phorm Bliss or the Bliss Go Pack. These supplements are just not good enough or safe enough so we have no other option but to reject it.

1st Phorm Bliss Review

The Bliss Go Pack is a product stack aimed especially at women. It comes from US supplements company 1st Phorm who specialise in performance boosting supplements and with the neon pink Bliss logo and the female orientated advertising along with the women only before and after pictures, this is definitely one for the girls.

The Bliss Go Pack features three supplements that you can take together in accordance with some strict instructions provided by 1st Phorm. If you like clear instructions and a supplement timetable, you will probably enjoy using this stack.

1st Phorm Bliss Facts

  • You can buy 1st Phorm Bliss as a supplement in its own right or as part of the Bliss Go Pack.
  • 1st Phorm is a US company.
  • Bliss products are aimed only at women.

1st Phorm Bliss is the principle supplement in the trio. This is a fat burner and energy enhancer so is the business end of the stack.

1st Phorm Bliss contains a lot of ingredients all in proprietary formulas so you do get the impression you are getting good value for money. These blends comprise of the Dynactive Complex, Neurocept, BioTherm Matrix and Bliss Fusion which all sound suitably technical and although listing the ingredients like this hides the true ingredient quantities, it does sound impressive.

How to Take 1st Phorm Bliss

Morning Dose:
1-2 pills of Bliss (start with 1 pill and gradually work your way up to 2 pills per dose)
2 pills of ThyroDrive
Drink 16 oz. of water with each dose
Eat a meal 15-45 minutes later

Early-Afternoon Dose:

1-2 pills of Bliss (start with 1 pill and gradually work your way up to 2 pills per dose)
2 pills of ThyroDrive
Drink 16 oz. of water with each dose
Eat a meal 15-45 minutes later

Nightly Dose:

Take 3 pills of Opti-Core at least 45 minutes before you plan on falling asleep
Drink 12-16 oz. of water with each dose.

The other two supplements are marketed as “add ons” to Ist Phorm Bliss. There is Opti Core a supplement that is supposed to help you relax by reducing the stress hormone Cortisol. There is also Thyrodrive – a supplement that is supposed to increase the thyroid hormones. The Thyroid gland controls the speed of the metabolism so the thinking is that increasing vital thyroid hormones will likewise increase the speed of the metabolism.

We have covered 1st Phorm supplements before including a male orientated supplement called Commander.

We have also covered woman’s only supplement 1 DB Goddess Prime.

1st Phorm Bliss Concerns:

  • The side effects could be dangerous for some people
  • Will 1st Phorm honour the 110% money back guarantee?
  • Expensive. Could be a waste of money if side effects prevent you from taking.

All 1st Phorm supplements contain high numbers of ingredients and all come with this 110% guarantee.

Although we have yet to approve a 1st Phorm supplement – with all these ingredients they look quite dangerous, the company look reputable. 1st Phorm supplements are available from a wide range of outlets and we could not find any issues with the sales policy.

What Does 1st Phorm Bliss Claim To Do?

You take the three products in combination because each one addresses different issues.

Bliss is a fat burner/ thermogenic diet pill which you take twice a day and is the principle product in the stack.

According to the product information it boosts the metabolism, knocks out diet busting cravings, supplies you with energy and helps balance hormones and all without side effects.

You also take Thyro Drive once a day to stimulate:

Thyroid production to naturally and safely optimize thyroid function to efficiently burn fat.

The third supplement is Opti Core which you take at night and according to the product information,

battles the nasty stress hormone Cortisol and helps you relax and sleep at night…

There is no evidence that any of this is true. There are no links to any clinical proof that these supplements will work in the way as described.

Does 1st Phorm Bliss Work?

Nothing is proven and with the high amount of ingredients in 1st Phorm Bliss, let alone in Bliss Go Pack, effects are always going to be unpredictable.

What Are The Ingredients of 1st Phorm Bliss?

Bliss is the principle product in the stack and is available to buy as a standalone product.
Each capsule is equal to one serving. However you are advised to build up to taking two capsules each time once you have built up tolerance.

DynActive Complex: TM: (257 mg)

  • Caffeine Anhydrous: Where would the supplements industry be without caffeine! The World’s best known stimulant boosts energy levels and alertness but effects can wear off as you become accustomed to use.
  • Picamilon: Does not meet the statutory definition of a dietary ingredient and supplements containing Picamilion have been subject to warnings by the FDA.
    Source: http://www.fda.gov/Food/DietarySupplements/ProductsIngredients/ucm472881.htm
  • Hordenine: A stimulant compound in Bitter Orange, and is thought to increase fat burning. Can raise heart rate and blood pressure.
    Source: http://examine.com/supplements/Hordenine/
  • N Methyl Tyramine: Trace amine which is a favourite with bodybuilders because it is believed to stimulate the release of noradrenaline – the hormone involved in the flight or fight response.
  • Cocoa Extract: Mild stimulant, but not even as strong as caffeine and unlikely to make a significant impact to weight loss. Some studies in rats suggest it can lower cholesterol levels but no evidence it will do the same for humans.
  • Huperzine A: Huperzine-A is thought to be a cognitive enhancer and is often taken in smart pills or nootropics. It may help as a treatment for dementia and memory loss.
    Source: http://www.webmd.com/vitamins-supplements/huperzine

NeuroceptTM: (187 mg)

  • Choline Bitartrate: Molecule found in eggs and believed to increase the production of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine in the brain. Some people say it works as a stimulant but the dose sizes vary greatly. Can cause headaches if taken to excess.
    Source: https://examine.com/supplements/choline/
  • Sulbutiamine: Synthetic molecule made from two Thiamine (vitamin b1) molecules and bound together. May help improve fatigue.
  • Bacopa Monniera (50% bacopasides): Plant Chemical derived from Waterhyssop and believed to improve mental performance.
  • Beta Phenylethylamine HCL: More commonly known as PEA, this ingredient is derived from the amino acid phenylalanine. It is thought to increase alertness, aid in concentration and focus, and may also enhance mood, which are all arguably traits that dieters need help with in succeeding with their weight loss attempts.
    Source: http://www.livestrong.com/phenylethylamine-for-weight-loss/

BioTherm Matrix TM: (168 mg)

  • Green Tea Extract Green Tea: Green tea contains antioxidants called catechins. Studies have suggested that catechins and caffeine both increase energy expenditure by boosting the metabolism temporarily. Requires further investigation.
    Source: http://ajcn.nutrition.org/content/70/6/1040.full
  • Coleus Forksohli (20% Forskolin): Also known as Plectranthus barbatus, this tropical plant related to the typical coleus species contains the active ingredient Forskolin, used as an ancient Indian medicine for centuries. Initial clinical studies have supported some claims but more research is required in the real world to prove the benefits for fat reduction.
    Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forskolin
  • Cayenne Pepper Extract: There are claims that cayenne can have a metabolism boosting effect and it does raise body temperature for a temporary period as anyone who likes spicy food will know.
  • Dandelion Powder: Herbal extract that is primarily a diuretic and laxative.
    Source: http://www.webmd.com/vitamins-supplements/dandelion.aspx
  • Synephrine: Chemical stimulant in bitter orange extract and often used in diet pills and it can be effective for weight loss. Some studies indicate that use of synephrine results in an increase in metabolic rate and energy expenditure, and moderate weight loss was seen in studies lasting over 6 weeks. However, there are real concerns about safety and the numerous side effects.
    Source: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22991491
  • Green Coffee Bean Extract: Contains caffeine. It was thought that this ingredient was a significant aid in weight loss but claims were based on false evidence and have since been discredited.
  • Guarana Extract: A berry that is naturally high in caffeine, it is often an ingredient in energy drinks and diet pills.
  • Diiodotyrosine: Precursor of the thyroid hormones T3 and T4.
    Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diiodotyrosine

Bliss Fusion TM (78 mg):

  • Damiana powder: Herbal extract derived from wild shrub which grows in Mexico and often smoked for recreational purposes. Damiana often shows up in legal highs and it can cause adverse effects.
  • Ashwagandha: This plant is thought to lower Cortisol levels in the brain and body. Cortisol is a hormone produced during moments of stress, which has been associated with increasing weight gain, and making weight loss more difficult.
    Source: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23439798

Bliss also contains the following vitamins:

  • Niacin (as Niacinamide): (10 mg) 50% RDA
  • Vitamin B6 (as Pyrodoxine HCL): (3 mcg) 150% RDA
  • Vitamin B12 (100 mg): 1667% RDA

Are There Any Customer Reviews For 1st Phorm Bliss?

Some customers feel that the Bliss Go Pack supports weight loss, increases energy and helps with hormonal imbalances,

This customer reported;

I love the product. It works great. I only really started it about 2 weeks ago and down 8 lbs. It has helped with my hot flashes as well

And,

This product is amazing! Gives me the energy I need to get through my day as I don’t take caffeine in any other way/form. It also significantly helps with hunger cravings and making me feel like I’m not always starving! Would recommend this to anyone!

Some customers have reported being offered free samples in exchange for a review so there are a high proportion of positive comments.

Not everyone is pleased.

I have been taking the Bliss weight loss and have not lost one single pound. Sad that I spent $130 for a product that has shown no results. I am happy for the people this has worked for but for me it was a waste of money…

And,

I really wanted this to work. Took it religiously and per the instructions (worked out, ate right, drank my water, & lots of rest). Sadly, I saw zero changes. Maybe because I do all of those things already…

This customer got a free sample in exchange for an honest review and did not pull any punches:

… I was nauseous from the product almost immediately, despite following the directions exactly. I drank lots of water with it and ate four small meals, just like the directions said, but it gave me the constant feeling of having low blood sugar all the time. I suppose that means it’s boosting my metabolism, but the headaches and nausea that it gave me were almost unbearable. I would say to do more research before buying, and to read all the fine print. It’s not recommended for people with any number of physical problems, which makes me wonder what exactly is put into it. ….
Disclaimer: I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest review.

The problem with 1st Phorm Bliss and the Go Pack is that the high number of ingredients will cause unpredictable effects so it is impossible to gauge whether this supplement will work or even if it is safe. Some people may find that it helps weight loss/ energy levels but a high proportion will not experience the same benefits.

  2. sally thompson says:

Have been on this for 2 days and have gained 2 lbs which seems to be the norm according to the reviews. will try it for a few more days and then return. very disappointed.

  3. nicki says:

I have been using Bliss 1 Phorm for over three weeks now and have not seen any results nor does it curb my appetite whatsoever. I am very disappointed in this product.

  4. Rebecca Hudson says:

I have used it for 10days havent seen any.
    I am really disappointedo???

  5. Tam says:

Second day on bliss go pack first day started with one pill felt nothing energy wise or appetite wise tried two today. Was fine after breakfast dose but about 3 hours after lunch dose got slightly numb in left arm/hand, sweats, nauseas and an overall foggyness …. Freaked me out!!!! I had drank about 50oz of water at that point. Not sure if I will try again.

  6. Amber says:

I have been taking the bliss for about a week and a half now. My menstration has been irregular since I’ve been on it. Can bliss cause irregular periods?

  7. Paulina says:

Anyone here taking birth control pills and this product as well? The reason Im asking is because I really want to give it a shot but I dont want my birth control pills to be less effective. Thank you in advance

  8. Lori says:

Having only started this product 2 weeks ago (5 days on/2 days off cycle), I’ve dropped 5# overall, dropped 2% body fat (started at 32%, now at 30.1%), and put on 1.2% muscle. Of course I watch my nutrition and do CrossFit 4x/week, but I had hit a plateau. This has definitely gotten me over that hump. I know there are several posts saying there are no user reviews, but if you go to youtube, you’ll find SEVERAL actual user reviews there. I’ll update in a month.

  9. Amanda says:

Hi there! I started Bliss and the Opticore as well as the thyroid boost on Monday. Let me firstly say, I am on Zoloft. I suffer from depression. I have had 3 children, and am over 200 pounds. I lost 5 pounds in the first 3 days. I have WAY more energy, and my appetite has comfortably gone down. I don’t feel like I’m staving anymore and I’m also able to focus (not that I’ve had problems focusing much prior to this). What everyone needs to know is you CAN NOT rely on just ONE review. Everyone’s body is different. This includes your hormones. You also needs to drink lots of water and stay away from soda (well.. indulging once in a while is ok). But you can’t expect it to just fall off on its own either. This product is just an enhancer. You’ll still have to work out, or do some kind of activity. Even if that means walking through walmart for an hour twice a week do it!

I don’t have jitters. I can drive perfectly fine as well. I will set a reminder on my phone to do another review later this month! Wish me luck. I haven’t been below 200 lbs in 6 years. (213lbs)

    1. Jennifer says:

Good job! I just ordered this today. I’m hoping it works for me too. I’m over 200 lbs and love to lose some weight. Let us know your results later.

    2. Kathy says:

I ordered the Bliss go pack today. I weigh 190 and have hypothyroidism and had a total hysterectomy in May 2014. After surgery I went from 150 to now 190. I hope it helps!

      1. Valerie says:

Hi Kathy. I also have hypothyroidism and was considering buying the bliss pack. Can you please give an update on your experience?? Thank you in advance. It will be greatly appreciated.

  10. sue says:

No pill is going to “make you” lose weight. You have to decrease calories and increase mobility. The most you can hope for in any diet “aid” is a diuretic for water weight and some appetite suppressant qualities. If they claim anything more than that it is BS.

  11. Nicole says:

Where do you get the sample packs at?

  12. Erin says:

I bought then entire Go Bliss Pack along with the M-Factor Goddess vitamin. I take them everyday just like I am supposed to. I started with the 1 Bliss pill in the morning then 1 in the afternoon for the tolerance phase for 2 days. I felt nothing, no energy, still hungry. So I upped to the 2 Bliss in the morning and 2 in the afternoon for 2 days. Still nothing.I am sluggish, foggy headed and lethargic, and from the way my pants are fitting I have either gained weight or am retaining water. I have drank at least 2qurts/64oz of water every day and I drink the full 16 oz of water with the pills. I have noticed that my urine has turned neon yellow which after some research means I have too much riboflavin in my system. I will continue with this for a month and try and remember to come back and update my review but so far, not impresses. I may try their adrenal fatigue supplement however since theirs is the first I have seen to treat that and I have looked into every major weight loss system out there. Anyone tired it yet? I can handle being fat, I am tired of being tired.

  13. Franny says:

Unfortunately this product is really o different from the masses- loads of stimulants with a buffer for the mood and diuretics to drop water.
The problem is that the thyroid patient has issues in their bodies that this may actually not help.
Thyroid patients do not metabolize effectively……
    Same pill different name really

  14. Jennifer says:

I bought the bliss pack and could not find any negative reviews, until now. I took it faithfully and in the first week I gained 5 pounds and was so puffy and bloated. It caused GI upset and muscle/joint pain. If you want to try it do so at your own risk but start with a sample packet. I also take a thyroid supplement and was told by a rep to continue taking it as it would not interfere with my meds and the thyro-whatever had other fat burning ingredients besides thyroid booster. I would not recommend this product.

  15. sbtayl says:

I just started the three pack two days ago. I need a thyroid boost, energy and weightloss.

The capsules are large. You have to be real good about taking them “before” you eat and then waiting. so it’s been difficult following this routine. But hopefully I’ll get better at it.

First day, I switched to decaf coffee since I saw all the caffeine in product. No weight loss as of yet – but about 30% more energy. And seem a bit happier/optimistic if that makes sense. So maybe it is affecting my lack of nutrients for my thyroid (which is borderline and doc won’t give meds). I’ll update in a week.
