Advocare is a major multi-level marketing company based in the United States. It has a very large supplement range and a wide network of distributors.
Advocare Catalyst is an amino-acid supplement supposed to be taken in combination with other Advocare products such as the 24-Day Challenge. The goal is to increase energy levels and improve muscle. Unfortunately, the quantities of amino-acid are very low and the product is probably ineffective. Not only that, but it is also very expensive when compared to similar products available on the market.
Advocare Catalyst can cause some people to experience a loss of coordination, fatigue, nausea, stomach pain, gas, vomiting, swelling of the hands and feet, joint pain, headaches, dizziness and itching. Some of the ingredients can also worsen liver diseases or cause a bipolar manic phase; it is recommended to avoid this supplement if you suffer from pre-existing physical or mental health issues.
Advocare Catalyst is expensive. A bottle of 90 capsules – it will last between 10 and 30 days – will cost you $31.50 on the official website. Amazon is even more expensive; the same bottle costs $35.50!
Advocare Catalyst looks like a correct supplement but there is nothing here to really set the world alight. It contains a blend of amino-acids which may help support general health but with the ingredients in such low quantity, we doubt it will be effective. With a recommended dose of three to nine capsules a day, a bottle will only last you 10 days. At $31.50 a bottle, it’s nearly $100.00 a month! In our opinion, Advocare Catalyst – like all other Advocare products – is really not worth it.

Advocare Catalyst is a health supplement that delivers amino-acids and nothing more. Amino-acids are sometimes called ‘the building blocks of protein’ and are essential for every metabolic process. The body creates many of these amino-acids by itself but others can only be obtained through a healthy diet or supplements.
Advocare Catalyst contains branched chain amino-acids. ‘Branched’ refers to the shape of the molecular structure. These amino-acids are essential to the body but can only be obtained from outside sources such as food and vitamins. Advocare Catalyst also contains L-Glutamine – the most abundant amino-acid in the body. Some people take glutamine supplements to improve athletic performance but there is no evidence that it works; however, glutamine is good for health and general well-being.
Take three capsules 30 minutes prior to a meal, workout or bedtime. You can take up to three servings a day.
Advocare Catalyst is just one in a wide range of supplements. It is designed to be taken in combination with some of the other Advocare products, specifically the Meal Replacement Shakes and a product called Muscle Gain.
We have already covered many Advocare supplements; you can see those reviews here:

Although some of these supplements look not too bad, we have yet to add one to our approved list.
Advocare is a major MLM company selling a wide range of supplements for fitness and weight loss. If you like the company, you can join up as a distributor and establish your own business selling Advocare products. Some people enjoy the challenge of network marketing but it can be hard and very few people will succeed in this field.
According to the product advertising there are three key benefits to taking Advocare Catalyst:
• Helps maintain muscle mass during exercise and weight management
• Helps support post-exercise muscle repair and recovery
• Aids in preserving muscle and energy levels during times of calorie restriction
The supplement will ‘fuel your body with muscle-building components when combined with exercise and a healthy diet’.
In addition Advocare Catalyst ‘helps repair and protect muscle, and provides amino acids needed to maintain and promote lean body mass, endurance and strength’.
However none of these claims are proven.
Advocare Catalyst looks to be a reasonably good supplement and taking an amino-acid supplement may help general health as well as help muscle building and endurance. However, these positive effects may be hard to measure and it is possible that it will be hard to tell the difference between taking the supplement and not taking the supplement.
Serving size is equal to three capsules.
Advocare Catalyst looks pretty safe but side effects are possible. They includes:
Some of the ingredients can also worsen liver diseases or cause a bipolar manic phase; it is recommended to avoid this supplement if you suffer from pre-existing physical or mental health issues.
Not suitable for individuals under 18.
Avoid if pregnant or breast-feeding.
Seek medical advice prior to taking if you take prescription medication to check for interactions.
There is a lot of feedback on Amazon USA, however, it is important to remember that anyone can write a review and Advocare distributors are often quick to jump in and praise Advocare.
Is this a magic pill? No. But if you take as directed, your results of diet and exercise will be noticeably boosted. Just by taking three times a day with meals, my family and friends have commented on my weight loss. Also, I don’t know if this is an intended ‘perks’ of this supplement but I have been very regular since starting the Catalyst regimen. Sorry if TMI, but I know some diet supplements have the opposite effect on folks.
Liposuction in a bottle! (Really?!)
I am using this with the Advocare 24-Day Challenge. It’s still early in the challenge but I feel like this is helping my energy levels.
Don’t waste your money. Unless you’re a bodybuilder and use this and other supplements, it’s not going help.
Used this for two months plus and it doesn’t work. Extremely disappointed!
Advocare does have a return policy. Here is what they say about it:
If a Retail Customer is not completely satisfied with the products they purchased, the Retail Customer may request a refund within 30 days from the date of purchase by returning the unused portion of the product and a copy of the Retail Sales Receipt. If customers ordered through the website, then they should contact Advocare directly for a refund, but customers who ordered through a distributor should contact their distributor to organise the refund. If you have purchased Advocare Catalyst through an Advocare distributor, you may have a hard job getting your money back as this will probably affect their own commission.
You can buy Advocare Catalyst via the official website or by contacting a distributor and buying through his or her home business. You can also find Advocare Catalyst on Amazon.
Thousands of customers have cut the fat with this fast and powerful thermogenic fat burner. Can suppress appetite, boost energy levels and elevate mood without the jitters.
