There are some diet pill companies, however, that fail to provide even this basic information. The manufacturers of Anaca3 state that their product works in 10 ways to aid weight loss, and state that it will ‘revolutionise your weight loss’, but provide no supporting evidence for this.
Below we take an in-depth look at Anaca3 to reveal to customers how effective the product really is, providing the detailed information that the manufacturers have failed to supply.
Anaca3 is a diet supplement manufactured by a French company, but is sold in both the UK and France. The manufacturers state that the product will revolutionise your weight loss, by burning fat, absorbing fat and sugars in the stomach and curbing the appetite. The manufacturers are a French company called Regimea, who also make a diet pill called Agufen 10.
Anaca3 has only recently been launched in the UK, but has been available in France since 2014.
The manufacturers can be contacted using the contact details provided on the official Anaca3 website.
Take one capsule before each meal, three times per day.
The manufacturers of this product have listed the supposed benefits of each ingredient used in Anaca3:
There are apparently three ingredients used in Anaca3; Prickly Pear, Artichoke Leaf, and Cola Nuts. No ingredient quantities are provided for this product.
Of the three ingredients used in this diet pill, only one has any clinical support in relation to aiding weight loss. Even then, the evidence supporting the use of cola nut for weight loss is only in animal studies. However, the presence of naturally occurring caffeine does make it likely that this ingredient could aid some weight loss for humans.
Artichoke Leaf does help to treat a variety of stomach related issues, and could reduce LDL cholesterol. However, there is no clinical evidence to suggest that it could aid with weight loss at all.
Prickly Pear, when prepared correctly, stabilises blood sugar levels by lowering them significantly; this was not studied over long term use. This could have benefits for dieters, as maintaining relatively stable blood sugar levels is important for avoiding sugar rushes and sugar crashes, a cycle which leads to cravings that can easily derail a diet. One preliminary study found that participants who consumed 3000 mg of prickly pear per day had much higher levels of fat in their stools, indicating that the prickly pear was binding with fat in the stomach; this could lead to weight loss theoretically, but the study was short term, with a small sample of people.
It is also unclear how much fat could be bound by the ingredient, and how much of an impact this could have upon weight loss. Further study is needed. It is also highly unlikely that Anaca3 provides 3000 mg of prickly pear per day.
Finally, there are no ingredient quantities provided for any of the ingredients used in Anaca3, and so there is no way of establishing just how effective the product may be, or how likely it is that side effects could occur.
Prickly pear cactus can cause some side effects including mild diarrhoea, nausea, increased amount and frequency of stool, bloating, and headache. It can significantly lower blood sugar levels, and so should not be consumed by people with diabetes. As Prickly Pear appears to bind some fat in the stomach, it may affect the absorption rate of some fat soluble vitamins.
Artichoke can cause intestinal gas. Some people may also be allergic to Artichoke. Artichoke may increase bile flow through the bile duct. Anyone who has gallstones or a bile duct obstruction should not consume artichoke.
Cola Nut is a significant source of caffeine and so can cause a range of side effects. These can potentially include headaches, increased urination, jitteriness, dehydration, increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, heart palpitations and problems sleeping. Green tea can also cause constipation.
Not suitable for Diabetics. Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Not intended for use by those under the age of 18.
Numerous customer testimonials are provided on the Anaca3 website. However, potential customers should be incredibly cautious when reading these testimonials. The before and after pictures that accompany each story have clearly been photo-shopped, and at the bottom of the testimonials page it is stated:
The above testimonials come from Anaca3 users. The customer is aware that these testimonials are not a guarantee for his/her own weight loss but represent and illustrate potential results obtained with optimal use of Anaca3 nutritional supplements. The photos are representations created from testimonials received from customers of Anaca3 nutritional supplements, by mail or email.
The testimonials have also been translated from the original French website.

After having tried all the diets under the sun and after all those years of being unhappy with myself, I finally have the body I wanted! I first heard about Anaca3 from one of my friends but didn’t believe in it at the beginning. But once I saw her results I decided to try Anaca3 myself. As you can see it works and I have finally lost all my excess weight. My life has completely changed. I am a new woman and I have new-found confidence in myself. My friends, my job, my family, my private life … everything has changed since I lost weight. I think that everyone who is overweight knows what I’m talking about. I am a completely new woman!
Marc, 45: Life takes a turn for the better when you lose 5st. Anaca3 has completely changed my life. Now that I’ve lost all that weight I’m a new man. I’m happy, relaxed and have found new self-confidence. Even my work has changed and my results are better. It’s true that when you regain self-confidence, everything gets better. There are no independent customer reviews for this product, and all of the testimonials detailed on the anaca3 website appear to have been highly edited. The ingredients list is short, but contains no information about the quantities used in the diet pill. These factors make it incredibly difficult to establish whether or not Anaca3 actually works or not.
Based upon the ingredients list alone, we speculate that this product will not revolutionise weight loss, as the manufacturers claim. Cola nut may aid with a small amount of weight loss, but this is the only ingredient that will directly impact upon weight loss. Artichoke leaf is intended to settle IBS and indigestion, and is not a laxative; it will have no impact upon weight loss.
Prickly Pear could stabilise blood sugar levels and could bind some dietary fat in the stomach. Research is still preliminary and so there is no information detailing how effective this could be at aiding long term weight loss. The study also used huge quantities of Prickly Pear; it is unlikely that the quantities used in Anaca3 correlate with the amounts used in the study.
Anaca3 can be purchased from the official Anaca3 website.
A single box of Anaca3 costs £29.90 plus delivery. All orders of two or more bottles have free delivery.
Two bottles cost £56.90. A purchase of three bottles includes an extra free bottle and costs £69.90.
A purchase of four bottles includes two extra bottles for free, and costs £85.90.
All orders come with a month of free coaching.
The product comes with a money-back guarantee, but only if customers follow a set of strict guidelines, which include using the full quantity of the product, using the recommended daily dose. They also have to return all the empty bottles and the original paper invoice from the delivery.
There is also a 14-day period following purchase that allows for change of mind returns on unopened products. Customers need to contact the company to arrange this refund. Full terms and conditions are available on the official Anaca3 website under ‘general terms and conditions of sale’.
Overall, we are not very impressed with Anaca3. There are no ingredient quantities provided on the official website, and so it is difficult to establish just how effective the ingredients actually could be. Based upon the ingredients list alone, regardless of the amounts used, it appears that only two of the three ingredients used could directly impact upon weight loss. These ingredients are only supported by preliminary clinical studies conducted in rats or over very short term use.
The Anaca3 website provides some testimonials, but they have clearly been edited. The before and after pictures that accompany them are clearly photoshopped, and the notification that these images are merely representations of the reported weight loss, and not actual before and after pictures, is only mentioned on the testimonials page, despite being used on the main landing page of the website. This use of false images is misleading to customers.
The company offers a money-back guarantee, but they put so many clarifications about the steps customers need to follow to qualify for the money back guarantee that many people who are dissatisfied with the product may be unable to obtain their refund. The progressive discount system of pricing is excellent for customers who want to purchase in bulk (or if a few friends all want to try the product together), but it does reveal the ridiculous price mark-up that has been put on smaller purchases. On balance, even with this mark-up, the product is still relatively cheap. Customers are also offered a free month of coaching with any purchase, which includes personalised menus, exercise challenges and ‘lots of slimming tools’.
Overall, even the offer of free coaching is not enough to make Anaca3 a product worth purchasing. We do not recommend Anaca3 to our readers.
