Best Factor Max

Rating
CLA is found in many diet pills, but to provide the greatest effects, it needs to be taken in large quantities. This dosage can be difficult to fit into just a few small capsules per day, especially if the supplement also contains other active ingredients.

Below we take an in-depth look at Best Factor Max, to see whether or not this supplement is an effective weight loss aid.

Best Factor Pros

  • Positive customer reviews

What You Need To Know About Best Factor Max

Best Factor Max is a weight loss supplement that, according to the manufacturers, will suppress the appetite, increase thermogenesis, and burn fat. They also state that it will increase energy levels.

Best Factor Max is manufactured by a company of the same name, who are based in Florida. They also manufacture a supplement called Best Factor Immune Booster, which comes in an orange bottle. These two supplements can be purchased separately or together in a bundle.

What Are The Side Effects Of Best Factor Max?

There are several ingredients found in Best Factor Max that could cause a range of side effects. The manufacturers have not provided any individual ingredient quantities, which makes it impossible to establish the likelihood of side effects occurring.

There are some potential side effects associated with the use of CLA. It can cause stomach upset, diarrhoea, nausea, and fatigue. CLA can also increase triglyceride levels in some cases.

Consumption of caffeine can cause a variety of side effects, including headaches, increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, heart palpitations, increased urination, dehydration, jitteriness, dizziness, and insomnia.

Garcinia Cambogia can cause some side effects including nausea, digestive tract discomfort, and headache.

How Much Does Best Factor Max Cost?

Best Factor Max is available from the official Best Factor website. Here a single bottle costs $20.69, with free shipping. Two bottles costs $39.00, whilst three bottles costs $58.00.

It is also sold as a part of a bundle, which contains one bottle of Best Factor Max and one bottle of Best Factor Immune System Booster. This bundle costs $55.00, with free shipping.

Best Factor Max can also be purchased from Walmart’s website and selected Walmart stores in the USA. Here a single bottle costs $20.69. Delivery charges may also apply.

On Amazon, a single bottle of Best Factor Max costs $20.69, plus delivery charges. Customers can get a small discount if they use the Subscribe and Save scheme, which ships them a new bottle every month.

Our Verdict On Best Factor Max

We are not hugely impressed by Best Factor Max at all. The supplement is marketed as a highly effective fat burner and appetite suppressant, but the ingredients used are not very strong weight loss aids, or have little clinical support to suggest that they would work at all.

The individual ingredient quantities are not provided, but it seems that some of the ingredients are under-dosed, especially CLA.

There is no money-back guarantee for this supplement. The 30 day returns window starts on the date of purchase, not the date of delivery.

The product is incredibly well reviewed on the Amazon sales page, but some of the reviews seem suspicious and may be faked. Amazon has repeatedly removed fake reviews in bulk from the product listing.

Overall, we do not recommend Best Factor Max to our readers.

Does Best Factor Max Work?

There are numerous ingredients found in Best Factor Max that have no support from human clinical trials linking them with weight loss, such as Raspberry Ketones. Garcinia Cambogia and CLA both have very mixed clinical evidence.

Whilst CLA has shown positive results in studies in rats and mice, aiding significant weight loss and acting as a fat burner, the clinical results in humans are much more varied. Some human clinical trials showed significant fat loss, improved body composition, and even increases in muscle mass. However, other studies found no results or changes at all.

One review paper that pooled the results of 18 studies of CLA found that, on average, CLA caused ‘modest’ fat loss. Other reviews describe it as a relatively poor and unreliable fat burner.

Caffeine perhaps has the strongest clinical support out of all the ingredients in this supplement, but even then, studies repeatedly show it to have a “small but significant” impact upon the metabolism and weight loss.

The manufacturers of Best Factor Max do not provide any individual ingredient quantities, but looking at the proprietary formula, it appears that at least some of the ingredients are under-dosed. The recommended daily dosage of CLA, for example is between 3200 mg and 6400 mg, but a serving of Best Factor Max contains just 1526 mg of the proprietary formula (of which an unknown quantity is CLA).

Overall, Best Factor Max appears to be unlikely to aid significant weight loss.

What Are The Ingredients of Best Factor Max?

The ingredients found in Best Factor Max are detailed below. Individual ingredient quantities are not provided as the product contains a proprietary formula. Each serving of two softgels contains 1526 mg of the proprietary formula.

  • Thiamine 1.5 mg (100% RDA) (vitamin B1) (as thiamine mononitrate)
  • Riboflavin 1.7 mg (100% RDA) (vitamin B2)
  • Vitamin B6 7.5 mg (375% RDA) (as pyridoxine HCl)
  • Vitamin B12 24 mcg (400% RDA) (as cyanocobalamin)
  • Pantothenic Acid 10 mg (100% RDA) (as d-calcium pantothenate)

Proprietary Blend 1,526 mg

  • Tonalin CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) (safflower oil): Naturally found in dairy products, beef, and safflower oil, conjugated linoleic acid may help to reduce body fat, but may not cause changes to body weight. The average daily diet provides between 15 and 174 mg of conjugated linoleic acid, but studies have used much higher levels. Human studies of CLA have produced contradictory results, and it is described as not only a relatively poor fat burner, but also an unreliable one. Source
  • Sunflower Seed Oil: Sunflower Seed Oil is high in vitamin E. However, it is unclear why it has been included in this formula.
  • Caffeine Anhydrous: Numerous studies have shown that caffeine boosts energy levels and alertness, as well as mildly boosting the metabolism, causing a small increase in the number of calories used by the body. The effects shown in studies are small, and some studies are inconclusive. Source
  • Soy Lecithin: Often used as an emulsifier (to stabilise a mixture of oily and watery ingredients) in processed food. Because of its role as an emulsifier, some claim that it can aid weight loss by keeping fat in an easy to process form. However, there is no clear evidence to support this theory. It does appear to help keep cholesterol levels in check by preventing cholesterol from attaching to artery walls. Source
  • Raspberry Ketones Extract (standardised to 4% ellagic acid) (Rubus chingoo hu) (fruit): Whilst there is a small amount of evidence that raspberry ketones can cause weight loss in rats, there have never been any human trials on the potential weight loss effects of raspberry ketone. The safety of using large quantities of raspberry ketone has also never been fully researched. Source
  • Garcinia Ext. Min 55% HCA (bd:nlt 0.4g/ml): Test tube and animal research suggests that HCA, an active compound in Garcinia Cambogia, may be helpful in weight loss because of its effects on metabolism. However, numerous studies in humans have found it has no effect upon either appetite or metabolic rate. Source
  • Taurine: Used often in energy drinks, some studies suggest that this amino acid may play a role in athletic performance. Source

Does Best Factor Max Have Any Side Effects?

Raspberry ketone is an under-researched product, especially in the quantities found in supplements. Whilst it is considered safe for use in food in small doses, the higher doses used in supplements could cause jitteriness and other symptoms. Some users of raspberry ketone have reported feeling ‘weak’, restlessness, insomnia, chest pains, headaches, and nausea. Some people have also had allergic reactions to raspberry ketone based supplements, with symptoms including itching, rashes, trouble breathing, and a racing heart-rate.

Garcinia Cambogia can cause some side effects including nausea, digestive tract discomfort, and headache. Its long term safety is unknown, as clinical studies typically focus upon short term use of up to 12 weeks.

Caution:
Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Not suitable for anyone under the age of 18. Not suitable for anyone with any cardiac-related health issues, including but not limited to high blood pressure. Not suitable for anyone who is sensitive to caffeine and other stimulants. If you have high cholesterol or triglyceride levels, consult your doctor before purchase. If you are unsure about the suitability of this supplement for you, consult your doctor before purchase.

Are There Any Customer Reviews For Best Factor Max?

There are hundreds of customer reviews for Best Factor Max on Amazon, where the product is sold. The majority of these customer reviews are rated five stars, but FakeSpot.com (a review checking website) indicates that a significant number of these reviews are suspicious and likely to be fake.

One star. Does not work, causes headaches.

Do not waste your money on this, I been taking this pills for over 2 weeks now and I did not feel any different on the contrary I feel even more tired and at sometimes even dizzy.

I had been taking this product for the month and had zero results! Nothing at all! Would not recommend.

It’s not a magic pill, but it does really help. In my first two days, I really didn’t notice much of a difference, but maybe felt a little fuller faster. By day 3, I noticed that although I still have cravings, they aren’t so strong. Definite improvement to my willpower. I imagine it will keep getting better as the days pass. I gave this only 4 stars, because I don’t feel a boost to my energy level.

Does seem to help with my appetite some, I have noticed some differences slightly with my pants fitting a little better cuz my bloating is gone. Will definitely keep using.

I haven’t noticed anything yet but no side effects.
