The company says that they stick to four fundamental principles, which are applied to all their products. They claim to only use potent ingredients that are supported by clinical studies, the products are quality tested to ensure potency and purity. They are earth friendly, by using renewable energy and recyclable materials, and lastly all their products are made in California. Can Bio X4 live up to the hype?
After going over all the information we have collected it would seem that Nucific Bio X4 may help some people improve their digestive health but there is NO accepted evidence that it will help with weight loss.
If your digestive system is functioning normally, there seems to be no reason to take this supplement.
If you do have digestive problems, you should visit your doctor rather than trust a rather expensive and unproven OTC supplement. Although, the fact that the company is run by trained medical professionals is encouraging, unfortunately there is no sufficient evidence to suggest that this supplement will be safe.
We feel that probiotics need further clinical investigation to prove all the claims that have been made here and eliminate concerns about contamination and safety issues.
There is mounting evidence that certain Lactobacillus probiotics can actually cause weight gain,
Different Lactobacillus species are associated different effects on weight change that are host-specific. Further studies are needed to clarify the role of Lactobacillus species in the human energy harvest and weight regulation. Attention should be drawn to the potential effects of commonly marketed lactobacillus-containing probiotics on weight gain. Source
We like green tea extract for weight loss, as it is included in a lot of products nowadays and has been proven to help with weight loss goals.
One bottle (30-day supply) costs $49.00. Nucific seem to be a reputable company and we love that they offer a guarantee on their products, something a lot of other companies could learn from.
What we weren’t impressed with is the lack of testimonials, on the official site and lack of clinical studies. How many people have actually tried this product and found it to work in the way they state?
While Bio X4 is marketed very slickly, especially with the video marketing featuring Dr Amy Lee, the jury is still out on Probiotics and weight loss. Is it worth taking something that some evidence may cause weight gain? We feel that the best bet, if you want to experiment, is take consume a natural Yoghurt every now and then.
For now, we have no other choice but to reject Bio X4.

Trying to lose weight can be a tough journey but there are some things than can make it easier, such as eating a healthy diet and exercising regularly. Sometimes a dietary supplement can make all the difference in the world and Bio X4 says that it is designed to help;
Bio X4 contains 4 blended compounds that work together in order to attack weight loss issues. This is perfect for people who would like a supplement that has no lactose, no fillers, uses 100% pure ingredients and vegetarian capsules as well. What’s not to like?
The principle ingredient is the probiotic blend, which is said to contain 4 billion healthy bacteria per capsule, which is a heck of a lot, and is composed of a Lactobacillus blend and a Bifidobacterium blend. Probiotics are important for our health and our bodies could not do without these colonies of the live bacteria and yeasts founds naturally in our bodies. Lactobacillus is a bacteria that is naturally present in the stomach, which produces vitamin K and Lactase (which breaks down Lactose, the sugars in milk products). Bifidobacterium is a type of bacteria present in the colon flora in animals, as well as in the gastrointestinal tract in humans.
Since the mid 1990s, probiotics and supplements containing them have been advertised as a way to benefit the digestion system and help with IBS, eczema, and oral health. However the probiotic supplements and foods do not have any medical backing behind them, which could be a cause for concern.
As well as a probiotic blend, Bio X4 also contains a digestive enzyme blend. Digestive enzymes are present in the body naturally and break down food molecules so that they can be absorbed by the body and taking a supplement including them is said to improve digestion. Bio X4 also contains green tea extract, which is well known for its beneficial effects upon health and weight loss. There is some evidence that suggests green tea can increase the speed of the metabolism, making you lose weight more effectively.
The final ingredient in Bio X4 is Caralluma Fimbriata, a cactus extract that may help cause feelings of satiety to prevent over eating and food cravings.
The manufacturers claim that with Bio X4 you can:
Take control of your appetite again, enhance your metabolism & digestion, and feel better than ever.
The way that each ingredient blend works is explained:
To utilize Bio X4 to the best of it’s ability you have to take 1 capsule with each meal. When taken 3 times daily, an individual receives 12 billion CFU’s. More may be taken as needed. Supplementing each meal with digestive help that assists in processing your food and extracting the maximum amount of nutrients gives your body the tools it requires to operate at its peak level of performance.
When we look back over the facts we don’t see how or why Bio X4 could help you lose weight, as there is no evidence for probiotics and digestive enzyme supplements aiding weight loss. While the Green Tea and Caralluma Fimbriata look promising, the ingredient amounts seem inadequate.
Probiotics for weight loss remain largely untrialled and untested. This form of medical science is in the early stages and nobody knows for sure if probiotics are generally good to take in supplement form. In addition, they are not suitable for everyone as they come with the risk of introducing bacteria into your system.
Not only are the weight loss claims unproven, but also the claims about digestive enzymes are also unproven. We cannot see Nucific Bio X4 doing much for your health or your weight loss.

Everybody is different when it comes to supplements and the way they react to them. Some are as right as rain and others feel side effects within moments of ingesting a product. With Bio X4 healthy people are unlikely to experience serious side effects, but the same cannot be said for those with underlying health conditions or a weakened immune system.
Bio X4 could cause the following side effects:
If you are particularly sensitive to caffeine which is present in green tea you could experience the following:
As far as user reviews go we have been unable to locate any reviews on the official site, but we did locate some on Amazon and the findings were interesting. Here are a few of them:
I tried one whole bottle and saw no results at all. No weight loss, no change in digestion, no change in appetite. Only benefit was it encouraged me to drink more water! I purchased directly through Bio-X4 which cost much less than on Amazon. Scam! Wish I could show no stars.
I bought the Bio-x4 from the company’s website – Nucific. I took it diligently for about 3 weeks. I did not experience any positive effects, e.g., of probiotics. However, my sleep became more restless, and I started experiencing some water retention. I’m returning the product back to the company and hope to receive my money back. Don’t waste your time and money on this product!
This company seems strange and perhaps shady. I bought Bio X4 because it sounded all natural; I thought even if I didn’t lose the weight I wanted to lose, the probiotics and green tea extract would still give me benefits. I bought several bottles because every time I went to check out a new, “better” deal would pop up. That should have been a red flag. As someone else already noted, the Google reviews also seem stacked in Nucific’s favor. All of the results are favorable to Nucific, but all are on web pages completely unfamiliar to me. When I ordered the product I thought it was because the product was so new, but months later, the Google results are still like that. I ended up with heartburn that I believe is related to probiotics (I admittedly could be wrong about this but have heard some people get heartburn from certain types of probiotics), so I tried to return the bottles I had not opened. Unfortunately the 90-day grace period was over, so I have lost significant money on my Nucific purchase with nothing noticeably gained on my end. The e-mails from the company are also strange, as are the recipes. Hard to explain but something seems fake or “off” about this company. I would not buy their products again.
Going by these reviews, it seems like Bio X4 does not help with weight loss and it is making people doubt the company.
When it comes to important details, we feel that one of the most important is that a product must have a guarantee so the user feels safe knowing that they won’t lose out if the product doesn’t work in the way they want it to. Nobody likes to be disappointed and realize they lost a lot of money for no reason.
On the site, Nucific offer a full 90-day money back guarantee. Here is what they say:
If you’re not 110% satisfied by the results, send back your order within 90 days for a full refund – no questions asked. You will be absolutely amazed at just how quickly your body can change. See the results for yourself…
Unfortunately it doesn’t specify whether this applies to opened and unopened bottles, so we would suggest contacting them beforehand for confirmation. To claim a refund you need to call 888-679-5520 Monday – Friday from 6am to 8pm, as well as weekends 5am to 5pm.

This stuff really improved my digestive system, unbelievably awesome far as my digestive system improved tremendously … However I am having some major pain for the last two nights so bad I can’t get any sleep . I don’t know if it is side effects from Bio X4 ? I do know I have never felt this kind of pain in my lower back around the Kidney area both sides.
I really hope it’s not from this product because it really work for my digestive system.
Thank you. I was considering the bio-x4 product. Instead I am opting for a physical check up. You just saved me $150.00. So glad I found this website. Thanks again.
It’s amazing! I was a bit sceptical but within a few days my digestive system was 100% better, my energy has increased and I have lost 11lbs in 2 weeks.
Who do i talk to to get my money back???
So does this thing work for anyone?
Dr. Amy Lee has a proven medical history and training. I will trust her product that comes in a GLASS jar over that plastic junk any day.
Any major change to the body will have effects which will be unique from one person to the next.
Dr. Lee did say talk to your physician first.
This product has worked very well for myself. I took it only once, before every meal and I lost 29 lbs. I ordered the product a second time just to maintain my weight loss. I know only take 1-2 capsules per day. No real problems , such as joint pain or stomach problems. I must add that I did some exercise , not a lot, and I ate healthier foods. I would recommend this product.
I had a good result in the pass with the bio X4 I lost 20 pounds
X4 – my first dose 3 pills one at each meal.I woke up during the night feeling uncomfortable. My head felt heavy and my body felt weird including my lower back. My legs and feet felt heavy and numb. I got out of bed and tried to walk. I have been up for 3 hours with my legs and feet feeling weak. I have to wait until Monday to see a doctor. I went on line it said it does have side effects, including joints. I have had problems with my joints in the past.I just want to up date you on what I am sure my problems comes from this product.
Could be the Cellulose capsules. I get arthritis when I eat any type of cellulose and with the research I have done it turns out it’s not a vegetable capsule, they are just allowed to call it that. It really is wood pulp and I can’t even eat shredded cheese, which has it or else I have to wear a brace on my wrists.
I have really lost over 10-15lbs All my friends are asking me what am I doing it really does work have been taken it for about 1mnth and half.
IT REALLY DOES WORK NO JOKE AND NO GAME.
I have received Nucific and have been taking for a week. I noticed painful urination immediately. What causes that from the extract and how is it treated?
I can’t find the source now, but urinary tract pain was on a list of possible side effects of either bioX4 or one of it’s ingredients. I had this pain also, yesterday after the first two doses. I’m monitoring for side effects to decide whether to return or not. Most of the side effects listed online are GI – bloating, gas, stomach upset/pain, which may settle down after a week or so. I read some worrisome info on Wikipedia, EGCG is a catechin, which may have an immune response: “Depending on dose consumed, catechins and their metabolites can bind to red blood cells and possibly induce release of autoantibodies, resulting in haemolytic anaemia and renal failure.[53] This resulted in the withdrawal of the catechin-containing drug Catergen, used to treat viral hepatitis, from the European market in 1985.” Kidney failure isn’t something we’d want to chance, but it must be rare, or we’d hear more about it and ECGC would be taken off the market here. Also under catechins: “Main hazards: Mutagenic for mammalian somatic cells, mutagenic for bacteria and yeast.” The definition of mutagenic:capable of inducing mutation or increasing its rate. Doesn’t sound good, but I’m not a doctor or chemist, so take all of this with a grain of salt. On the plus side, catechins are antioxidants, which we need to destroy free radicals and thus reduce cancer risk. Moderation is good. Hope this is helpful.
