Body War Body Shred looks to only be available in Australia at present. There is a bit of an issue concerning the ingredients, the information provided by the manufacturer doesn’t quite match up with what the sellers say. Whatever the case may be, there are some dodgy and dangerous ingredients included, and in unknown amounts. As you can’t be certain what Body War Body Shred contains, we would definitely suggest that you regard this supplement with caution.
We take an in-depth look at Body War Body Shred to find out more.
With 22 ingredients showing up on the label, the effects of this supplement are going to be unpredictable, especially as we do not have any information about ingredient quantities. Some ingredients look safe, such as green tea, capsicum, African mango and green coffee bean, but we are very concerned about the potential side effects of some of the other ingredients.
Body Shred contains a lot of unusual stimulants such as Norcoclaurine and Pikatropin and Amp Citrate all well known for their effects upon heart and blood pressure. There are also some frankly weird ingredients, which lack evidence, and any safety information such as horsetail and Dendrobium. It also contains possibly high levels of caffeine and Citrus Aurantium.
Overall, we think this supplement is dangerous and unlikely to help you lose much weight.
There is quite a lengthy list of potential side effects, please see the Side Effects section below for the full breakdown.
Each tub contains 160g (32 servings or 16-day supply) and costs between $60 and $64.00 AUD, depending on the retailer.
Body War Body Shred is a powder that you add to water and drink as a Shake. It is available in three flavours: Cola Blast, Coconut Lychee, and Peaches in Cream, so if you have a sweet tooth you will probably enjoy these tastes.
This supplement has a warning stating that it is a strong and extreme fat burner.
There is a lot of confusion over the ingredients in Body War Body Shred, which is troubling. Many of the people selling this supplement claim different ingredients for this supplement.
We decided to go straight to the Body War Nutrition website and take a look at the ingredients listed by the main distributor/ manufacturer or whatever their role actually is. This did not work because the one page Body War Nutrition website lacks any real information such as proper ingredients information or an accurate list, the country of supplements origin or a buy it now button.
The principle seller appears to be Rockhard Supplements also an Australian website. Their information is confusing, because according to their ingredients list for Body War Body Shred, the profile is different again, to what is listed on the Body War Nutrition Website. None of this adds up.
Finally, we found an ingredients label. It contained different ingredients to those listed on the Body War Nutrition Site and the Rockhard Supplements site.
Take 1 Scoop (5g) with 200ml added to cold water and shake!
BodyShred should be taken upon waking in the morning or 30-40 minutes prior to exercise.
Initially start with ½ a scoop as Body Shred is an extremely potent product.
What we can say for sure, is this supplement contains some questionable ingredients.
These include Amp Citrate which is very similar to now banned DMAA a stimulant with dangerous side effects, cognitive enhancer Pikatropin (more commonly known as Picamilion) and Bitter orange – a stimulant also known as synephrine and may help fat burning as well as increase heart rate and blood pressure.
There are also some more mainstream ingredients such as caffeine, green tea and raspberry ketone plus some unusual herbal extracts.
Body War Body Shred comes from Australian supplements company Body War Nutrition.
There is little information about the supplements or the company itself and the supplements are unavailable to by from the website. You are however invited to contact someone called Nick for wholesale enquiries should you want to sell the supplements yourself.
Other supplements include Pre War and Shred 24, which appear to be very similar to Body Shred.
According to the information on the Rockhard – the principle seller’s website:
Minutes after consuming BodyShred the positive effects begin! With every serve of BodyShred you are absorbing high concentrations of advanced ingredients to assist you in reaching your health and fitness goals! Body War Nutrition offers the most advanced products available on the market today!
Whether it works for weight loss is anybody’s guess. There is no telling what this supplement will do!
It does contain some weight loss ingredients which can be effective. Green tea, caffeine, African mango and white kidney bean can help support weight loss and all these ingredients do come with some proof. Caffeine can help when used in moderation too.
However there isn’t much evidence for raspberry ketones or green coffee bean and in our opinion, the principle effects will come from the stimulants. This supplement will probably make you feel it is doing something but in most cases, this will be increased heart rate and blood pressure plus enhanced energy, which will probably feel like a chemical buzz. It could even cause a heart attack or stroke.
It all depends of course on the ingredient quantities but nobody actually has this information.

Body War Body Shred does not appear to be available in the UK or USA
We are not impressed with Body War Body Shred. The distributor’s website does not provide any ingredients information and advertises a different ingredient profile to the one that is shown on the label. There is no information about where this supplement is manufactured, the source of the ingredients or even what they are.
We think it is highly likely that Body War Body Shred is imported, possibly from China. Wherever it is made, it is unlikely to conform to any health standards or good manufacturing practice (GMP).
This supplement looks dangerous and, despite this risk, seems unlikely to help you lose weight or support fat burning in the way as advertised.
We can honestly say that we have no idea what this supplement will do. There is no customer feedback and none of the 22 listed ingredients (the ones on the label) come with any information about quantities. Many of them are untested and some are known for causing potentially lethal side effects around heart and blood pressure.
It is important to remember that just because a supplement is on sale, it doesn’t mean it is safe.
The bottom line is that this supplement looks extremely dangerous and should certainly be avoided. Therefore, it is a very easy decision. We reject Body War Body Shred.
