BPI Sports is a Florida based supplements company that sells mainly from their own product website and via Amazon. According to the “about us” information, the company was founded by James Grage following a car accident when he was looking to supplements to build up strength in the gym.
BPI Sports Nite Burn is a weight loss/sleep aid capsule combined that you take before bedtime. However weight loss results are highly unlikely and although Nite Burn has helped some users sleep because it contains a proprietary blend including melatonin, other ingredients may disrupt sleep, causing wakefulness, bad dreams, and gastric issues like heartburn.
You can buy this supplement in either 30 capsules or 60 capsule bottles, which is enough for either one or two months’ supply.
Many customers have mentioned side effects including insomnia, mind racing, broken sleep patterns, heartburn, vomiting and nausea, drowsiness and fatigue the following day, anxiety, being wide awake in the middle of the night, headaches, and bloating.
Other side effects may include increased bowel movements, increased urination, stomach pains, increased risk of neurological condition eosinophilia-myalgia syndrome (EMS), gas, diarrhoea, light-headedness, and muscle weakness.
BPI Sports Nite Burn contains tryptophan so will not be suitable if you suffer from depression or are taking antidepressant medication including Prozac or Sertraline. Speak to your health provider before use if you have an underlying medical condition or are taking prescription medication.
BPI Sports Nite Burn is not overly expensive. Buy from the BPI Sports website and it costs $25.99 for a month’s supply of 30 capsules. First-time customers are offered a discount code of 35% off all orders.
BPI Sports ship worldwide, with shipping costs applied at the point of sale.
You can also buy Nite Burn via Amazon where it is cheaper.
We don’t rate Nite Burn at all! The weight loss ingredients seem ineffective both in the quantities and for the purpose required. White kidney bean extract, for example, can be an effective carb blocker and appetite reducer at 2000mg per serving, but here as a named ingredient of a blend that only adds up to 640mg in total, is underpowered. In addition, if you are asleep, why would you need to block carbs and restrict your appetite anyway? It does not make sense.
The other ingredients are also a matter of concern. Although melatonin and lemon balm do help sleep, tryptophan is known for causing numerous side effects including nightmares and heartburn. Even the vitamin D3 content, which is good for health, is known to disrupt sleep so is always best taken in the morning.
In addition, Raspberry ketone and green coffee bean both have a stimulant effect so as well as being unproven for weight loss, are more likely to keep you awake than help you sleep.
This supplement is not going to work in the way as described for most people and with the added risk of side effects, we do not recommend BPI Sports Nite Burn to the Watchdog readers.

The idea of BPI Sports Nite Burn is that this capsule will help your body lose fat while sleeping, by raising your body temperature in a process known as thermogenesis. It is also described as an aid to sleep and relaxation. You just take a capsule before bedtime and let the ingredients do the rest!
According to the product information, the supplement is stimulant free. It contains ingredients including green coffee bean extract which presumably decaffeinated although it doesn’t say, plus raspberry ketone, vitamin D3, lemon balm, and melatonin. There is also white kidney bean extract, dandelion extract, and amino acid tryptophan.
All these ingredients are combined in a proprietary blend adding up to 640mg per serving, so it is impossible to know the true strength of the individual ingredients. Check out the ingredients tab to find out more.
BPI Sports is a US company based in Florida, with a wide range of supplements on offer. We have covered some BPI Supplements in previous reviews, including super strength fat burner Roxylean, which is so high in dangerous stimulants that some users have had to go to hospital following taking it.
Other BPI Sports supplements include BPI Keto XT and BPI Keto Bomb.
According to the advertising, the key features are as follows:
Non-Stimulant Formula – This Nighttime, Fat-Burning Sleep Aid Contains Non-Stimulant Ingredients That Work Hard Without Keeping You Up at Night.
Designed to Promote Rest and Relaxation – Sleep is an Important Part of Muscle Recovery and Weight Loss. NITE BURN was Created to Promote Deep, Healthy Sleep so You Can Wake Up Leaner, Harder and Well Rested.
Enhances Metabolism – NITE BURN Contains Key Fat-Fighting Ingredients Like Green Coffee Bean and Raspberry Ketone to Keep Your Metabolism in Full Swing.
Helps to Burn Fat – Thermogenics Work by Raising Your Body Temperature, Which Requires Energy. As You Burn Calories, You Require More Energy, Which Forces Your Body to Tap Into Excess Fat Stores and Burn Fat for Fuel.
It’s a nice idea that taking a capsule could cause fat loss while you sleep, but there is no evidence Nite Burn will work as described.
Night Burn does contain melatonin. This hormone is made by the pineal gland situated in the brain (as well as being made synthetically) and it regulates your sleep patterns. It is often used by people who work disruptive shift patterns, and is considered safe for short-term use and is effective. Lemon Balm is also known for a soothing sleep inducing effect and had Nite Burn just stopped there, this supplement may have at least helped you sleep and worked for that purpose.
However, tryptophan is known for causing a range of side effects and although this amino acid is supposed to make you feel happy by increasing serotonin, the brain’s feel-good hormone, in many cases it does the exact opposite. It is known to cause bad dreams and gastric issues like heartburn, which will not do much for your sleep patterns. And even vitamin D3 is best taken in the morning because it is known to disrupt sleep.
The weight loss ingredients are all fairly unproven. There is very little evidence for green coffee bean extract or raspberry ketone, and it seems highly unlikely these will help your body burn fat as you sleep. They may have a mild stimulant effect too which is likely to keep you awake.
White kidney bean can be an effective appetite suppressant and carb blocker if taken in the correct serving size (around 2000mg), but there seems to be little point in taking this before you sleep. Why would you need to reduce your appetite while you are sleeping? But at this low serving size, it is unlikely to have any effect whatsoever.
Dandelion is well known as a diuretic so makes you urinate more. You may find this causes you to get up in the night to pee more regularly.
Each serving is equal to one capsule,

I haven’t lost a ton of weight but this helps me sleep and I can tell a difference. I will order again.
Many customers have found that it helps sleep but does nothing for weight loss.
Unfortunately, this did not help me lose weight. It did however help me to sleep. I probably won’t buy again since I was looking for a nighttime metabolism burn product.
The melatonin knocks you out! I would be in deep sleep within an hour of taking it…
Some customers found that BPI Sports Night Burn disrupted sleep and caused side effects,
I didn’t like this at all. It made me tired but I woke up a ton during the night. It didn’t help any with weight loss. It also gave me nightmares
Many people have mentioned heartburn and nausea as additional side effects,
Gives you heart burn and doesn’t allow you to sleep well at all….
There is no money-back guarantee. Although the company claims there is a 30-day money-back guarantee if you buy directly from the BPI website, it does not apply to opened or used products.
