Cute Nutrition Skinny Juice is a raspberry mojito flavoured powdered drink supplement, formulated for weight loss & fat loss. The principle ingredient is a citrus formula called Sinetrol, and Skinny Juice also contains some well-known weight loss favourites including Yerba Mate, Green Tea extract, and a small amount of caffeine.
Cute Nutrition is a British brand aimed at young women. Big on Instagram and other social media sites, it delivers plenty of cute fluffiness but provides very little detail about the supplements and how they work.
Cute Nutrition Skinny Juice is a powdered supplement that you add to water in order to make a raspberry mojito flavoured drink. The principle ingredient is a citrus formula called Sinetrol, and there has been some clinical testing that suggests it may help weight loss if you take it over three months. Each pot of Skinny Juice contains 240g of powder which is enough for 15 to 30 days supply. Cute Nutrition is on sale via Amazon in the UK, and across the various Amazon sites in Europe. You can also buy directly from the Cute Nutrition website where you receive a free plastic bottle with each purchase.
Skinny Juice contains grapefruit extracts, so may cause drug interactions. If you are taking medication or have been told to avoid grapefruit, you should avoid Skinny Juice.
Other side effects to citrus flavonoids may include dizziness, cough, flushing sensation, palpitations, and headaches.
Although the ingredients list states that the supplement contains 24mg of natural caffeine, it is unclear whether this is added caffeine or is the sum content of the ingredients which contain caffeine i.e. yerba mate, green tea, and guarana. This means that the caffeine content could be higher than it appears so may cause side effects including insomnia, increased heart rate/blood pressure, jitteriness, anxiety, and restlessness.
Dandelion root is a diuretic so causes increased urination. It is important to state hydrated while using or it could lead to dehydration. Symptoms of dehydration include thirst, dry mouth, fatigue, and palpitations.
Cute Nutrition Skinny Juice is quite expensive. Buy from the Cute Nutrition website and it costs £29.99 for one 240g tub which is sufficient for 30 servings (15 – 30 days supply). Shipping is calculated at the point of sale with UK shipping costing £4.99, EU shipping €8.21 and US shipping $9.97. Canada costs $11.71. Shipping is free on orders over £50.00.
Skinny Juice is slightly cheaper on Amazon UK where it costs £26.99. Other Amazon prices are comparable.
Skinny Juice is a powdered supplement that you add to water in order to make a raspberry mojito flavoured drink and according to the advertising, it contains a blend of ingredients to help you lose weight, detox, and reduce bloating. It is called Skinny Juice but on Amazon, it is also referred to as Cleansing juice so it looks like it is going to have a laxative/diuretic effect.
Looking at the ingredients list, Skinny Juice does contain dandelion root which is a diuretic. However, the principle component is a branded product called Sinetrol XPUR which is based on Mediterranean citrus extracts, and which may help the body reduce fat cells.
There are also some weight loss favourites including Yerba Mate, Green Tea extract, and a small amount of caffeine. The final component is L Carnitine L Tartrate – a compound based on the amino acid Carnitine, which may help improve energy levels and endurance.
Overall, the formula for Skinny Juice looks reasonable enough and we were pleasantly surprised to find that it did not contain the powerful laxatives that the name suggested. Not so good is that Skinny Juice does contain a lot of sugars and flavourings.
Cute Nutrition supplements, in general, are fairly inexpensive and they will appeal to younger women but are generally not very good quality. What Cute Nutrition seem very good at is marketing and social media, and creating the right popular look!
The company is based in Slough UK, although the listed address is the more upmarket Covent Garden London, and you can contact them by phone on 01753 969077.
Cute Nutrition sells via the official website, and also from third-party sites including Amazon.
According to the official product page, the key features are:
Buy directly from the Cute Nutrition site, and all purchases come with a free pink and white plastic bottle.
The key ingredient is Sinetrol XPUR and according to the product information,
“Sinetrol promotes the body in reducing excess body fat to help reach and maintain a healthy body composition. Its synergistic action reduces oxidative stress and lowers the risk of metabolic disturbances associated with overweight and obesity.”
It might work a bit, but don’t expect fast or dramatic results.
The principle ingredient is Sinetrol XPUR and according to Fytexia the developers of this supplement, it does work although none of the clinical trials have been carried out on a large scale. And of course, it important to bear in mind that the only research into this product has been carried out by the company selling this supplement!
According to clinical research, Sinetrol breaks down fat cells, which leads to the breakdown of triglycerides stored in fat cells (adipocytes) and the release of free fatty acids (FFAs) and glycerol. According to the clinical information, these results suggest that the lipolytic effect is made possible by inhibiting cAMP-PDE (the messengers in the body that regulate sugar and lipid metabolism).
There have been three clinical tests at the time of writing. All tests were carried out over three month’s duration and all participants reported weight loss – although whether results would have been as favourable had the clinical studies been carried out by independent researchers, we can only guess.
The other ingredients look OK, although the ingredient quantities are low so are possibly ineffective. However, we are concerned about the diuretic effect of the dandelion root because this could lead to dehydration.
We would be concerned about long term use of a diuretic but because Sinetrol seems to take 3 months to work (if it does actually work), you could be in for the long haul if you want to see any benefits from this supplement.

Each serving contains 8g of powder (1 scoop) added to water.
There is not much customer feedback for this supplement so we cannot provide any true life experiences, however, there may be side effects.
Skinny Juice contains Sinetrol XPUR and this formula contains grapefruit extracts, so may cause drug interactions. If you are taking medication or have been told to avoid grapefruit, for this reason, you should not take Skinny Juice.
Other side effects to citrus flavonoids may include:

Caution: Not suitable for individuals under 18. Avoid if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Speak to your doctor before using if you have an underlying medical condition. This supplement will not be suitable if you have been told to avoid grapefruit, so check with your doctor or pharmacist first.
There is very little customer feedback for this supplement. There are a couple of positive comments on the Cute Nutrition website, such as:
GREAT TASTE! I have tried so many things that I just can’t get along with but the cute skinny juice tastes amazing and I can’t wait to see the results! I will definitely be sticking with it!
There are a couple of similarly favourable comments on Amazon too,
Great fat burner and energy blast, nice sprinkled on porridge too
However, we did notice that one customer responded to questions on Amazon less favourably. In response to a question about sweeteners, she wrote,
Don’t know but doesn’t taste as if there is any. It is foul stuff.
There does not appear to be a money-back guarantee.
You can buy Cute Nutrition Skinny Juice direct from the official website and if you are outside the UK, this company will ship abroad.
Cute Nutrition Skinny Juice is on sale via Amazon UK, Amazon USA, as well as the Amazon stores located in Germany, France, Spain, and Italy. It is also on sale from Beauty Bay.
We are not overly impressed by Cute Nutrition Skinny Juice. This supplement is not going to offer much support to weight loss and unless you like the taste, there seems to be little reason to take it. Although Sinetrol may have a mild weight loss effect, it does contain grapefruit so will be unsuitable for many people who may be taking prescription medication. You do need to check this with your doctor, yet this point is never mentioned in the product information
In addition, many of the other ingredients are in very low quantities and we have added concerns about the dandelion content. Dandelion is a diuretic so it will make you urinate more, and there seems to be little point to it. A diuretic may temporarily make you look and feel thinner, but is not a lasting effect and can lead to dehydration.
Overall, we do not recommend Cute Nutrition Skinny Juice to the Watchdog readers.
