DietSpotlight Burn Slim Lean

DietSpotlight Burn

DietSpotlight is a supplement review website with an ulterior motive, and that is to get you to sign up for a free trial they offer on their own products. DietSpotlight Burn, formally known as Leptigen, contains three ingredients. Meratrim and ChromeMate, both branded supplements, plus green tea extract. Despite the fact that side effects are unlikely, DietSpotlight does not offer a money-back guarantee on their product.

  • Effectiveness
  • Safety
  • Price / Guarantee

Pros

  • Clear ingredients profile
  • Side effects are unlikely

Cons

  • Massively overpriced
  • Operate a free trial scam that tricks people into signing up for auto shipping
  • Is just Leptigen under a different name
DietSpotlight is a diet pill review website that sells Leptigen, the site’s own weight loss supplement. Recently Leptigen seems to have been replaced by a differently named supplement– DietSpotlight Burn; they also trialed out the names DietSpotlight Burn or DietSpotlight Lean as well. These three different names are for the same supplement, and are in fact are all just Leptigen under a choice of different names. We take an in-depth look to find out more.
UPDATE: This product is currently named Burn TS – for how long, who knows, but we’ll let you know when, not if, the name changes again.

DietSpotlight is a pretty well-known diet pill review site, but it has an ulterior purpose and that is to sign people up for the free trials offered by its chosen products. Many Watchdog readers have tried this, only to be caught in a nightmare of a hard to cancel the auto-ship program. This is where new supplies are sent to your address each month and the payment extracted directly from your bank account or credit card.

DietSpotlight Burn Overview

What you need to know about DietSpotlight Burn

DietSpotlight is a supplement review website with an ulterior motive, and that is to get you to sign up for a free trial scam they offer on their own products.

Their weight loss supplement used to be called Leptigen, but these days the name has been changed to DietSpotlight Burn. Leptigen was a not-too-bad supplement, but massively overpriced and with some seriously dodgy auto-ship strings attached.

What are the side effects of DietSpotlight Burn?

It looks pretty safe but it still may cause side effects. If you are very sensitive to caffeine or chromate you may notice side effects such as jitteriness, headaches, insomnia, nausea or dizziness.

How much does DietSpotlight Burn cost?

DietSpotlight Burn is expensive. In our opinion, it is massively overpriced. Many people sign up to a free trial offer in the belief it will only cost $3.25. However, if they fail to cancel they will be hit with paying $89.95 plus $5.95 shipping and handling for each month’s supply.

Even if you do not fall for the free trial scam, $89.95 is overpriced for a bottle of 60 capsules or one month’s supply of diet pills.

Additionally, there is an option at the checkout to add a further product to your order called DietSpotlight Advanced Cleanse & Detox. This also has a monthly cost so you could soon find yourself billed for hundreds of dollars within the next month!

DietSpotlight Burn Key Features

In the supplements world, there is no such thing as a free trial because sooner or later, you are certainly going to pay. Deep down we all know this already but this does not prevent us from falling for the same old scams, especially when they are offered openly from a trustworthy looking source.

DietSpotlight Burn Key Points

  • DietSpotlight Burn is identical to an earlier supplement called Leptigen
  • 1 x bottle of 60 capsules (1 month’s supply) costs a whopping $89.95
  • DietSpotlight operates a free trial scam that signs you up for auto-shipping if not cancelled

DietSpotlight is a diet pill review site that at first glance looks fairly similar to the Watchdog site. It posts reviews of many different supplements just like we do, but that is where the similarity ends. Their basic aim is to get you to sign up for a supposed free trial offer. Previously this was for their weight loss supplement called Leptigen. These days DietSpotlight has changed the product name to DietSpotlight Burn. This is most likely due to all of the bad reviews that Leptigen earnt through its auto-shipping scam.

How to Take DietSpotlight Burn

Take 2 capsules every day.

Worryingly, this supplement still has the offer of a free 15-day sample. The same deal that the company has run with Leptigen over the past few years that has caught many customers out.

DietSpotlight Burn Concerns:

  • DietSpotlight creates the impression that this is a trusted company, but the free trial offer is very tricksy
  • Some people will be tricked into spending money they cannot really afford
  • DietSpotlight Burn, like Leptigen, is massively overpriced and does not offer good value for money

It contains three ingredients. Meratrim and ChromeMate, both branded supplements, plus green tea extract. According to the product information, it will work in three ways, helping you to:

  • Lose more weight
  • Increase fat burn
  • Boost metabolism

Also according to the product information, DietSpotlight Burn is manufactured in the USA and is non-GMO and gluten-free.

What does DietSpotlight Burn claim to do?

According to the website, DietSpotlight Burn is creating a stir in the weight loss world.

Our success with Dietspotlight Burn comes from the high level of trust we maintain with the 400,000+ customers we’ve served over 7 years. We spent years researching thousands of products. With this knowledge, we created a “best of the best” product that not only works, but contains ingredients backed by real science.

We question this idea about the high level of trust achieved by their website. Many Watchdog readers have trusted this site and have been caught up in auto-billing without realising.

We decided to take a closer look at this important issue.

As with their old supplement Leptigen, there is a link to a free sample on the product page. Click on this and you are taken to a fresh page which reads,

Congratulation, you are pre-qualified to receive one of our limited, 15-day samples of Dietspotlight Burn.

Once there, you fill in your address for delivery before being taken to another page where you complete your payment details. This states that your free trial costs just $3.95 and includes a free PDF download about “cheat foods.” It comes with the free gift of a pill pot too.

Here it is very important that you read the terms and conditions.

It reads,

Order a sample of Dietspotlight Burn for just the cost of shipping and handling.

(So far, so good.)

It continues,

You have no obligation to buy anything in the future as long as you cancel within 15 days.

(Hang on, this is beginning to sound a bit dodgy).

By the time we reach the next point, everything begins to look clear.

Otherwise you will be enrolled in our Dietspotlight Burn Member Program, where we automatically send you a one-month supply of Dietspotlight Burn in 15 days and every 30 days thereafter for just $89.95 plus $5.95 shipping and handling.

As you can see, the free trial has suddenly changed into a subscription for regular orders. Instead of costing you $3.95, you will actually be billed for $95.90 a month unless you cancel within 15 days.

To change shipping frequency, cancel or extend your trial, call 844-964-3258.

Does DietSpotlight Burn work?

DietSpotlight Burn may help you lose weight.

There has been clinical testing into Meratrim and the results look promising. We all love green tea and there is strong evidence it can help burn fat. ChromeMate is a reputable supplement that may help support healthy blood sugar levels.

We think that this product may help support weight loss. However, it seems overpriced and the dodgy sales practice is a matter for concern.

DietSpotlight Burn Ingredients

The ingredients are clearly provided which we like. Serving size is equal to 1 capsule.

  • Green Tea Extract (standardized to 70% EGCG) (200mg): EGCG or epigallocatechin gallate is a phenolic antioxidant present in green tea. This useful molecule can increase the speed of the metabolism and increase body temperature, helping the body burn fat. There have been numerous clinical tests into its efficacy for weight loss and studies suggest that when combined with caffeine, as here, it can increase fat burning. Source: http://www.livestrong.com/article/282106-the-benefits-of-epigallocatechin-gallate
  • Meratrim (Sphaeranthus Indicus flower and Garcinia mangostana fruit rind) (400mg): This branded formula has undergone clinical testing. Research claims that these two herbs have various positive effects on the metabolism of fat cells. This combination of ingredients may increase weight loss, as supported by the clinical trials.
    Source: http://www.interhealthusa.com/Research/meratrim-clinical-research.aspx
  • ChromeMate (chromium polynicotinate) (100mcg): ChromeMate is a branded niacin-bound chromium called chromium polynicotinate that supplies a highly bioavailable form of chromium, an essential trace mineral that supports healthy blood sugar levels already within normal range. Chromium has been linked with a tiny amount of weight loss when used continually for a long period of time.
  • Natural Caffeine USP (75mg): Caffeine is present in green tea and can help increase the speed of the metabolism as well as give you a lift. When used in combination with green tea it may enhance the fat burning effect but effects can wear off as you become accustomed to use. Source: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10584049

DietSpotlight Burn Side Effects

The DietSpotlight Burn supplement looks safe but it still may cause side effects. If you are very sensitive to caffeine or chromate you may notice;

  • Jitteriness
  • Headaches
  • Insomnia
  • Nausea
  • Dizziness

We have not found any reports of side effects to Meratrim.

Caution:

Not suitable for individuals under 18. Avoid if pregnant or breast feeding. Speak to your doctor first if you have an underlying health condition or are taking prescription medication.

DietSpotlight Burn Customer Feedback

We have been unable to find any independent customer reviews for this supplement. It is only on sale via the official website and although there are some so-called customer testimonials posted we do not believe they are genuine.

There were however numerous customer reviews for the identical product Leptigen posted on the Watchdog site. Most of these were complaints about the free trial offer which caught many people out in the USA, UK, and as far afield as Australia.

Thanks to our readers for their help in keeping other customers informed.

As a reader called Barbara reported,

This is a scam! I asked only to try the sample. I did not give them my information to charge for for anything and they have sent me the pills twice and taken the money from my checking account…

Sacha reported the same,

I was also scammed for this product by signing up for free “15” days. The customer service sucks and the representative I talked to made me sound like I was an idiot…

Grandmarmie said,

Their “free trial” is a scam! they charged me $95.90 and a bottle I didn’t order and when I called they said that if I tried it and called back on the 15th, today I would get all $95.90 credited back to my account, but when I called back they said I was supposed to of called the 13th and than during the conversation they changed it to the 14th.. so they could not return my money now… after much discussion they finally agreed to return $57.54 which is $38.36 less than they were supposed to return… I am very angry at being taken by these scam artists!!! Don’t fall for them!!

There are many comments along the same lines; just take a look at our Leptigen review to see.

DietSpotlight Burn Money-Back Guarantee

DietSpotlight does not offer a money-back guarantee.

Where To Buy DietSpotlight Burn

DietSpotlight supplements are only available via their official website.

Watchdog Verdict

DietSpotlight Burn seems to be replacing an earlier DietSpotlight supplement called Leptigen.

As a supplement, it looks ok as it contains safe looking ingredients that may help you generate weight loss. The ingredients have also undergone clinical testing.

That said, we have real concerns about this supplement and the company behind it. This supplement is extremely overpriced at $89.95 for a month’s supply of 60 capsules and the tricksy free trial scam is catching a lot of customers out.

Instead of receiving a free sample for $3.95, as they believe, customers are mistakenly signing up for auto-shipping, where they receive regular supplies of this supplement delivered to their homes each month and billed directly from their bank accounts or credit cards.

We can never stress enough the importance of reading through terms and conditions. The information is clearly displayed on the product sales pages but the company is counting on you not to read it. Don’t be fooled by this tricksy policy.

We do not recommend DietSpotlight Burn. Whether they are going under the name of Leptigen, or the new DietSpotlight Burn, the products are best avoided.

  1. Had the most unusual experience on the phone with their customer service. I bought their 14 day trial pack and only paid for shipping. The catch is that a full bottle will be sent to you and your cc charged $66 if you do not cancel the auto-ship within 14 days. You also did not have an option to opt out of the auto-ship. So I said, ok why not right? If it works then I’m ok with the auto ship. If nothing is happening after I follow it religiously…then I will cancel. On my 12th day, I decided to cancel. It was enough time for me to make a conclusion that nothing different was happening. On the phone I spoke to a man with a heavy accent. He insisted to send me another trial pack to give it a longer try. He went on about how nothing happens overnight and that there is no magic pill…blah blah blah. HUH?? Isn’t that what you are sort of claiming to sell? Anyway, I sensed he was starting to get annoyed with me after I declined the extended trial period numerous times. I under stood his persistence so I let him give me his speech about the product…then I said…”I absolutely agree with you! If that is the case, then you would not need me to be on a forced auto-ship subscription and just send me the trial packs without committing to the auto-ship subscription. When your product speaks for itself, I will go back and buy multiple bottles because your trial pack proved to me it really works…right?” —–silence on the phone —– “Hello? Anyone there?” —- dial tone —-. I guess he didn’t like what I had to say. In any case, I did get a confirmation email that my auto-ship subscription has been cancelled. I wonder if he will still send me the extended trial packs that he insisted I have…I won’t hold my breath on that.

  2. They sent me 2 weeks. I called to cancel. I even said on the phone several times that they were not authorized to charge my card. They did anyway. Now they are saying that I was unclear. Want to file a BBB complaint but can not find their physical address! Told them I would call a lawyer – and guess what? They called back and said that they would refund my money.

  3. THIS IS A HUGE SCAM DO NOT DEAL WITH WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! They will charge your account for a “subscription” you never agreed to and will not refund you for anything they send to you. If you try to get a “free sample” pack you will automatically be charged monthly until you call to cancel, again with no refund. What your sent has no contact information or number on the order receipt so you’re left to piece it together on your own and find the contact info online to stop being barged an outrageous amount. Awful, DO NOT get anything from this company.

  4. DietSpotlight charged my bank account without my consent. I found out the hard way…when I need that money they took out. I had already called and had cancelled subscription about a week and a half before.

Now it’s a big mess with my bank until they actually refund my money. Do not fall for this. Hoping to prevent this from happening info to someone else.

  5. I got scammed by these lying s.o.b.s. Kept on trying to take money I ain’t got, I had to get my bank involved. What a bunch of crooks. Evil evil evil. The so called nice lady on the phone, what a bitch, said I had to pay its in my contract. What contract. Place in hell waiting for these crooks. I got Phetatrim now it’s no caffeine and they don’t auto ship.

    • I called to cancel and nice lady on the phone told me if I keep my subscription then I’ll lose even more weight each month by having less money to spend on junk food. She said it’s one of the advantages if I keep on buying. I told her to go ram her headset up her ass and I’d be sending to my lawyer a recording of the call. Said I was absusive and ended the call on me. I’ve been to my bank and put a block on them. Hope they go bust and all their employees lose their houses and pensions and cars. 100% crooks.

  6. The pills do NOT WORK!!
I too was scammed, as 5 days after i received the ‘sample’, the first full bottles of their pills arrived! I called to say that i did not order them and they said “yes you did. Just read the T&C’s of what you agreed to.” I told the man i wanted to return the bottle, but they said “your second order of a bottle is already on the way” and said No Refund and hung up! I discovered i had been debited $89.00! Called Santander bank to ask them to issue a ‘callback of my funds’ but they said they could not, as i had agreed to buy the pills. They did get me a cancellation of further renewals however.

  7. I ordered sample and didnt realize chitosan i am allergic, i called immediately and emailed them, they cancelled any auto ships happily, meanwhile i gave the sample to my friend and she LOVES them, not hungry at all and feeling great. She takes 3 a day rather then 2, she lost 2 lbs in a few days, I would like to buy her an other bottle but it is very expensive

  8. I’m another one caught up in their scam. I didn’t even finish the samples before realizing it was a fraud and had no idea I had signed up for a new supply every 30 days. I called and they agreed to refund the last bottle sent but the first they refused. Even worse, Bank of America refused to help me with any dispute. I’ll be changing banks too.

My fault, I didn’t read the very craftily hidden fine print. I hope this helps someone else to avoid both DietSpotlight and Bank of America.

  9. I got scammed..ughhh.. I tried to call and cancel but it was to late!! 🙁 they only gave me 50% of my refund..such BS.. Now i have q bottle of sh*t pills i wish i would of never ordered in the first place. I should know better to order from these asshats and that a magic pill won’t make you lose weight. 🙁 ugh $30 out of my pocketmm theifs this company is.

  10. I ordered the trial but definitely don’t want to have the recurring plan. I called and the associate did the ritual trying to stop me from cancelling. He recommended the caffeine free version which was helpful. He also offered me an extension for an extra 14 days before being charged… I did accept that at the time, but then called back 2 days later to cancel. The associate did ask about the call 2 days earlier, and I told him I just didn’t feel comfortable having it set up for automatic. He said no problem, said that I would be receiving a confirmation email. I said Thank you very much, but by then he had already hung up. I did get my confirmation that it was cancelled. So the associates will cancel it, but they will barely give you the time of day when doing so. Once they realize they cannot save your subscription, it’s on to the next. We will see if these fat burners actually work when the sample arrives.

  11. Dietspotlight is a joke! It doesn’t work and the company is a scam. They rope you in with a supposed 14 day trial, just stick you with a monthly subscripton you didn’t sign up for. I called my bank to claim it as fraud. Then I called the company to cancel something I didn’t sign up for. The rep offered me his employee discount of $25, sure as if this changes anything. Don’t buy anything from this compant, it’s not reputable.

  12. This is a joke! I ordered the free trial yet didn’t notice ANYTHING different. I called to cancel it and after speaking and explaining to the rep. that I wasn’t interested in purchasing another $89 worth, I wasn’t expecting to be charged again for it yet I was 8 days later! I had to call yesterday to explain this issue with another rep and he said that they had no history of me speaking with the other rep. I was beyond upset so the rep said he would refund me 1/2 of the $89. I then had to tell him to send me 2 emails after he gave me the confirmation number to have proof that I spoke with him. I did get the 2 emails but I have yet to see those funds added to my account. Long story short, this “company” is truly not worth being interested in. The pills don’t show any difference in daily vitamins and reducing an urge to eat randomly.

  13. I talked to them today. They DO offer a money back guarantee. When I initially ordered online I accidentally entered my address wrong so I had to call to change it. During that phone call I was informed that I would be on an autoship program. He told me the date I had to call back by in order to cancel the autoship. I received the free trial only a few days ago and have not yet tried it, and my trial period was up today, so I called and he sent me another free sample, so I have a bit longer to see if I like it. He also gave me the day that I have to call back by to cancel the autoship. It’s totally a sleazy way of going about things. Not impressed with that. But both times I called the customer service was great. I was also offered a deal for $120 for 120 days. So it’s about $30 a bottle.

I’ll see how it goes but man I’m sure glad I entered my address wrong and had to call to change it :/

MY advice is anytime something seems like TOO good of a deal, just call the company before or immediately after ordering. Preferably before. That way you can get a feel for the company and their motives.

  14. Scam. Totally. I received my “free trial” after one month, by that time I had already been charged a full other month ($AUD127)…. I contacted them and they said they had been able to “work magic” and refunded me half….. anyways the pills are crap. Just made me feel sick.

  15. These guys are super sketchy – saw a charge this morning for the product- called them and said I would like to return the bottle once it gets here. They say that they can’t in good conscience sell the unopened bottle to another customer but they could sign me up for another 90 days which offers a satisfaction money back guarantee. I told them to that they are unethical and to cancel the subscription. I hate people like this. I’ll try to write a review for every begrudgingly swallowed pill from that bottle.

  16. Beware of these sleazy scammers. They will ship the next order and charge you before you have the promised 15 days to try their free sample. They clock their 15 days from your order date. You get the product a week later. If you try use it for 15 days and decide to cancel, it is too late and they have already shipped. I called them up and their slick salesmen run you around in circles with the fine print and say you agreed to the terms. Buy similar products from more reputable companies. Like Alpha Male — no auto ship.

  17. True in fact this is a scam I signed up for 14 day trial samples of DIUCAPS a diet supplement for _$3.95 I was sent samples of HDburn a totally different supplement pills were wrapped individually in aluminum packets pills were not visible to eye further more who would actually ingest something packaged in this way furthermore no really knowing what was inside packets when opened I then called company immediately after receiving these unusual looking package told them these pills sent are not what requested diucap I received had burn pills and not to send anymore of these pills to my address I called they said I would get email stating that my account will not be charged never received email so I sent an email still no response back do I then cancelled credit card this is all a fraud I’m reporting to BBB

  19. I got caught in the auto ship scam. I received my 2-week trial last week, and they have already shipped and billed a full order. Now to see how their Customer Service is- Im trying to return the unopened bottle.

  20. I am unhappy with this product. I cancelled my free trail within the 14 days and they offered to send me another free trial pack because of the inconvenience. I received a charge on my account and a bottle of the pills. When I called to tell them I wanted a refund, they told me that a new trail was started (without my knowledge) and that I did not cancel in time. They only offered to refund $55 of the $90 that they charged me. This is a scam and I will never recommended this product or their services.

  21. All–Please REPORT THIS COMPANY on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and Rip-Off Report.
Yep, This is a scam. They got my billing information and billed me $95 per month on a free trial scam. When I figured out what they were doing I called and they refused to give me my money back. Shame on me for ever buying anything from them.
    Dont do it!

  22. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM, SCAM………I feel like I was violated….everything about the previous comments posted are true….now I have to go and cancel my debit card with fear they will keep charging me $95.90 a month for something I did not agree to. In the end I am the idiot for giving my card number for “free trial” for $3.95 shipping. Never tried the trial, never will. Must be a fun place to work knowing you are taking advantage of people, what comes around goes around!

  23. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM!!!! They send you a free trial and when you try to cancel they send you a different product for “free” but then actually bill you.
    Don’t waste your money!

  24. Just like all the other comments. This is a dangerous laxative -does nothing to do with losing weight. no documentation came with the product – no receipts or records. I had 4 yes four charges on my credit card for the initial shipment. I phoned the credit card company and they have a hard time tracking down these scam companies because the constantly change their company name and the product name. But guess what – I have nobody to blame but myself the info is out there and I did my homework after the fact. the old story of closing the barn door after the cattle got out. So wake up folks and just take a good look in the mirror if you are looking fo someone to blame.

  26. Made the mistake of ordering the trial and then read the reviews. Called them 2 days after and told them I wanted to cancel. They tried to pressure me into using another pill and talked to me like I was an idiot for not agreeing. Seemed to muddle something about cancelling then hung up on me. I recorded the call and followed up with an e-mail telling them I had a recorded the call and would be immediately calling my credit card company. The did send me a confirmation e-mail but I changed my credit card number to be safe. Will never order another trial product of anything ever again…lesson learned.

  27. I recently purchased a FREE trial off diet spotlight where i recieved sachets of there product containing burn and detox. 2 weeks later they have made a transaction from my card without my approval for the amount of $127.95. This is fraud! I never once signed up to anything. Biggest load of wanks!

  28. I unfortunately did not look at the paperwork and my free sample turned into a program membership immediately after the 15 days had passed. When the 30 day supply arrived, I refused the package (left packaging unopened) and called them to cancel. They refused to refund the $95.90 stating I had agreed to this when I signed up. I did not notice this upon signing up. The guy basically said I was stuck with the pills even though I had refused them.

I told him I would dispute with my bank, and he basically said because I had to mark a box agreeing to this when I signed up for the free trial, the bank could not force them to refund.

NICE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Sheesh – STAY VERY FAR AWAY FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY.

The sample gave me bad side effects too. I went ahead with my dispute, will see what happens…

  29. When I received the sample package the paperwork clearly stated that it would automatically renew if I didn’t call to cancel within 2 weeks of ordering. I marked the date on my calendar, called and they offered me another sample with another 2 week trial and $30 off the price should I continue. If you read the material that comes with it you can’t be tricked.

    • That’s exactly it, people are getting all bent out of shape for not reading things through when they get the trial. Everything in life comes with a price, nothing is free. Is it a tad on the unethical side for the company to set people up in a way by not making the stipulations of their free trial more clear to consumers, perhaps. But you can only be angry with yourself for not researching it fully, stop bashing the product and possibly detouring people from wanting to try it. It seems like the product itself may actually be worth it.

    • And another thing… How is it that this product is so terrible when upon looking it up on Amazon it is held in very high regard? Those are verified users and real (mostly real) people, I just don’t understand.

  30. My 15 year old niece went behind my back, took my cc & ordered these pills!!? long story short I phoned the next day & they canceled the shipment & gave me back my money no questions asked! The rep was also very friendly & I had not issues at all!! Thank you!

  31. I’ve had a few clients now try DietSpotlight Burn – despite me telling them it probably won’t work, they still wanted to give it a go. After some pretty rigorous testing, I wouldn’t trust DietSpotlight Burn. It’s focused on tricking you into more payments, service is (not there) as you’ve already bought the product and most of all…it simply does not do what it says it’s supposed to do. A massive negative for me.

  32. Let’s be clear about one thing: dietspotlight.com is a scam. They are a fake review website with the SOLE purpose of directing readers to buy their rubbish DietSpotlight Burn product that does not work. That is all. The above reader comments are an honest take on how dodgy and deceptive this company is. You can see for yourself. It does not matter which “review” you click on, they will ALL point you to buying their DietSpotlight Burn product. The “reviews” are all useless and unhelpful fluff content and obviously not written by anyone with any genuine health science education.

If you look at their Facebook account, you can see that they have over 30,000 “likes” but no engagement. This means they have paid for fake followers. Is that a company that you should be doing business with? Do they deserve to be rewarded with your hard earned money?

Read the comments on their fake “review” posts too. You’ll see that the comments are just as fake as the reviews. Likely paying someone in India to write sham comments (or writing them themselves) to make the posts look more popular than they actually are.

Bottom line: Buyer beware. Stay away from DietSpotlight burn. The product doesn’t work and the site itself is run by unscrupulous sharks.

  33. This is a SCAM!! They delay shipment so you get it and you are more than half way through your trial and then ship you the first month for $95 and you cannot get a refund. When I did take this it upset my stomach and I felt like I drank 3 cups of coffee. Its a shame companies like this are not out to do the right thing and instead look for ways to scam you.

  34. DO NOT BUY. DO NOT fall for the free 15 day trial. They DO NOT work. And they will charge you $95 for a month supply. They DO NOT send any sort of documentation to you about their product or dates. IT IS A SCAM. DO NOT BUY. This product is terrible. It will make your stomach hurt, your nauseated and gives you a headache. Sorry, but it is true. They will charge a non-refundable fee of $95 to you creditcard. DO NOT BUY. I repeat, DO NOT BUY. WORST PRODUCT EVER.
    Does not work!!!

    • Alice, you are right on point. I could not identify a correct phone number to cancel my subscription and once I emailed them they continued to send bottles of the useless product. This is a scam. Discover Card help to find the correct number to contact these scam artists.

I called and was told my email was not enough to cancel. They needed to speak with me in person. In what world is an email from my email address not an appropriate sufficient communication to process a cancellation?

Today I’ve spoken with a representative who said the account is now cancelled. A email cancellation is forth coming. Not holding my breath.

I used the following telephone to cancel: 844 757 6737

  35. I have been using this product for a year now. I have lost bloat and fecal matter from my system. I have lost weight, inches and have gained energy and I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. I haven’t had to do auto renewal, I buy them 3 bottles at a time for 125.00 or 89.00 for one.

    • Robin Darrow’s comment sounds like she works for DietSpotlight.com. Hmm, I wonder if it could be Summer Banks’ alias? Must scour the web doing damage control on an already flawed “brand.” Sorry Robin (Summer), you can’t defend the indefensible. DietSpotlight is a veritable scam and the world is finally figuring out your site is loaded with fake “reviews.” This sort of behavior is psychopathic. Who does this to people? As for your “weight loss,” who cares about “weight loss?” Anyone can load themselves up on diuretics and laxatives and “lose weight,” but DietSpotlight Burn does not cause fat loss.

    • Hi Robin. I believe the people are dying to know so I feel compelled to ask.. Are you affiliated with the company that sells this product in any way? It appears it would put many of these people’s minds at ease as they clearly assume you are. So are you?

  36. Burn gave me horrible headaches. I called to cancel within the 15 days of receiving the sample. They started calculating the days from the time I ordered it and had already charged me for another bottle. The rep tried to talk me into a 120 program and acted like i was an idiot when I said I just wanted to cancel. Also I lost no weight. Total waste of money.

    • Drink alot of water when you get the headaches. It means you aren’t drinking water. You will feel much better. If that doesn’t help, take a little nap with a cool cloth on your head. YOu will wake up with lots of energy.

  37. DO NOT BUY. DO NOT fall for the free 15 day trial. They DO NOT work. And they will charge you $95 for a month supply without letting you know. They DO NOT send any sort of documentation to you about their product or dates. IT IS A SCAM. DO NOT BUY. This product is terrible. It will make your stomach hurt and you will poop a lot. Sorry, but it is true. They will charge a non-refundable fee of $95 to your account without telling you and then tell you it is non-refundable. DO NOT BUY. I repeat, DO NOT BUY. If I had to rate this product from 1-10, I would go in the negatives. WORST PRODUCT EVER.

    • Yes you poop alot, but that is the product cleaning out your intestines and all the fat storage. I have been using it for a year now and I have lost pounds, inches and am very happy. I rater poop alot than be bloated and unable to poop.

    • You poop a lot because it’s an overpriced laxative. Why waste money on a product like this when you can buy laxatives for a fraction of the price down at your local pharmacy? Don’t be fooled people. “Robin Darrow” is likely someone from Dietspotlight.com just here doing “brand” damage control for their fake “review” website. Very sad that unethical companies like this prey on unsuspecting people trying to get healthy. Stop with all the quick fixes and companies like this wouldn’t exist in the first place. Stick to healthy eating and regular physical activity. Say no to Dietspotlight.com It’s a scam.

  38. I am cancelling my order of diet spotlight slim ,diet spotlight burn, diet spotlight lean, leptigen as of 7-23-2017. do not under any circumstances automatically withdraw money from my accounts. order # 632637 free sample ordered on 7-10-2017.
    Cordially Jenny.

  39. I tried Diet Spotlight for 3 weeks. Did not notice any differences in appetite or energy during or after. Cancelling was easy enough although their telephone number was wrong on their correspondence to me.

    • You need to give it more than 3 weeks to work. Trust me, I felt the same way when I first started. I have been using for a year now, my diabetes is gone, my appetite is better, my energy has increased and my fibromyalgia and arthritis (which I suffer badly from) are better.

    • Hi Robin. How much improvement did you experience with arthritis and fibromyalgia?Did it help with debilitating fatigue and depression as well??So happy for you that you’re feeling better Robin.Kind regards,Bernadette

    • Bernadette, unfortunately, “Robin Darrow” is likley not a real person. Go ahead and look at all her comments here. Robin is likely Summer Banks from DietSpotlight.com. If she is just a lay person using the product like everyone else, how is she such an “expert” on this and telling everyone what they should be doing to get the product to “work”? Seriously people, do not be gullible and fooled by these charlatans from DietSpotlight.com. They’ll do everything and anything unethical to try and keep their ruse going for as long as they can. A website loaded with fake “reviews,” fake facebook likes (no engagement at all), and tons of fake comments on their posts.

To the admin of this website, go ahead and look at the IP address of “Robin Darrow” and you’ll probably find it’s the same geographical region as the DietSpotlight company.

  40. Thanks very much for the information on dietspotlight. Im a lady aged 24 and im not happy with my weight which is 87.8kg. On my body I just dont lyk the belly only my hips are ok. My question is if I use the pills am i not going to lose my hips also?

    • I have been using for a year now, and it has cleaned out the sludge in my system, I have felt my stomach tighten, my clothes are smaller and I don’t do anything different. My diabetes is gone, my other health issues are better and I am not bloated, and swollen like I was before. I sleep wonderfully now, I wake up refreshed, and I owe it to this product.

  41. I found Diet Spotlight Burn on Amazon. It seems the only negative of Diet Spotlight Burn is the company’s way of trapping you into an automatic renewal. If I order it from Amazon and am avoiding the automatic renewal is the product worthwhile and effective? Thank you for your help.
