eAC 1234 Facts

  • Made by Creative Bioscience, a supplements company based in Utah.
  • Each bottle of 60 capsules is equal to one month’s supply.
  • Creative Bioscience were fined by the State of California for high quantities of Lead in many of their supplements.

eAC 1234 is a strong looking supplement, which contains a lot of ingredients of different types to provide energy appetite control or eAC. We do not know why the company have chosen to display the name in different font sizes and it is irritating but having covered Creative Bioscience supplements before, it seems that this is something that they like to do!

According to the product, information eAC 1234 can be used in combination with Creative Bioscience HGC 1234 diet drops, the company’s flagship product that accompanies a low calorie diet plan. Alternatively, you can just take eAC 1234 as a supplement in its own right and follow your own weight loss plan.

eAC 1234 contains a mix of different types of supplement ingredients.

There are stimulants, caffeine and Citrus Aurantium to provide the energy boost and possibly reduce your appetite as a side effect of taking stimulants. Citrus Aurantium can also increase heart rate and blood pressure so will not be suitable for everyone.

The major appetite suppressing effect is provided by Caralluma Fimbriata – a fibre rich cactus extract that may help cause feelings of fullness and thus decrease your hunger pangs. If you are on the low calorie diet plan where the recommended daily intake is 1200 calories, you will probably find this support useful.

There are some general weight loss ingredients such as ginger root and Reishi mushroom a Chinese medicinal ingredient believed to reduce cholesterol.

eAC 1234 also contains the powerful laxative Cascara Sagrada as well as a probiotic blend believed to improve digestive health although common sense tells us that the two functions of these ingredients might be conflicting.

The final ingredients are vitamins C, B6 and B12 plus trace mineral Chromium which may help regulate insulin levels.

eAC 1234 comes from Utah based supplements company Creative Bioscience.

Today they market a whole range of supplements around diet and weight loss but originally the company was founded in 2010 primarily to sell their original product, HCG drops supplement.

Creative Bioscience has been cautioned by the State of California for selling supplements which contain Lead, “a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm” and forced to pay a total settlement payment of $75,000.00

eAC1234 was not included in the list of products mentioned in the violation notice but like all the other supplements involved does contain a similar ingredients profile, including chromium.

We covered Creative Bioscience Diet ReVive in a previous review.

How to Take eAC 1234

Take 2 capsules in the morning. For best results, drink plenty of water throughout the day.

eAC 1234 Concerns:

  • Does eAC 1234 contain high levels of Lead as other Creative bioscience supplements appear to?
  • Why is this supplement available in 6 month’s supply, when the company advise you to take only for 2 months maximum?
  • The side effects. Many customers have experienced adverse reactions.

What Does eAC 1234 Claim To Do?

According to the product information:

eAC is an all-natural effective capsule comprised of safe and potent ingredients.

It continues:

Just like our reputable colon cleanse rCC, eAC contains no sugars, or starches. This alone sets eAC apart from a multitude of energy supplements. Not only does EAC boost your energy level, but decreases your appetite.

This statement does not make much sense. Most supplements do not contain sugars and starches and is there such a thing as a reputable colon cleanser? All medical advice is to avoid colon cleansing. In addition, this supplement was one of the products identified as containing high levels of Lead.

eAC quickly delivers a tremendous energy boost while acting as a powerful appetite suppressant. eAC was formulated for hcg dieters on any phase of the hcg diet and manufactured in FDA approved/regulated facilities in the United States.

There is no clinical evidence provided by the advertising to back up these claims.

So What Is eAC 1234 and What Are The Ingredients?

eAC 1234 is a weight loss capsule to increase energy levels and decrease appetite. Serving size is equal to two capsules. Amounts here are per serving.

  • Vitamin C Ascorbic acid (60mg): Organic source of Vitamin C and an important vitamin for health and maintaining your immune system.
  • Vitamin B 6 (pyroxidine) (8mg): Crucial vitamin for maintaining healthy blood cells, nerves and skin.
  • Vitamin B12 (48mcg): Essential vitamin that is involved with metabolism and healthy cell formation and present in meat, eggs and fish. The body cannot make B12 – it is only obtainable by diet.
  • Chromium (120mcg):This trace mineral may help the body use insulin more efficiently so be useful for treatment of diabetes. There have been concerns about chromium’s link with cancer and the State of California have fined Creative Bioscience for high levels of Lead (chromium) in supplements. The recommended UK safe dose is set at around 25mcg per day although the USA sets this higher at between 50mcg – 200mcg.

  • Caralluma Fimbriata (400mg): Promising although unproven ingredient for weight loss that may reduce appetite. We covered this native Indian succulent plant in a previous investigation and were impressed. However, it requires further evidence because testing has been very limited.

  • Caffeine Anhydrous (196mg): Stimulant which increases the speed of the metabolism and helps fat burning but as you become accustomed to use, these effects can wear off. A cup of instant coffee contains around 100mg of caffeine.
  • Ginger Root (100mg): Well-known herbal remedy for nausea and sickness. It is an anti-inflammatory too so it may help with muscular problems such as joint pain. Some evidence suggests that it may help weight loss but most clinical testing has been carried out on rats or has been very small scale. One test on just 10 men found that it increased thermogenesis and caused feelings of satiety but it does require further investigation.
    Source:http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22538118
  • Reishi mushroom (40mg): Chinese edible although bitter mushroom also known as Ling Zhi. It is believed to improve cholesterol levels and general health and may have numerous medical applications. However, it needs to be clinically tested.
    Source:http://www.healthline.com/natstandardcontent/reishi-mushroom
  • Citrus Aurantium (30mg- 9mg synephrine): Synephrine is a chemical derived from bitter orange peel (Citrus Aurantium) and is a stimulant that can raise the heart rate and make you feel jittery by inducing the flight or fight response. There are health issues around this ingredient.
  • Guarana (20mg): Berry which is similar to the coffee bean but with more caffeiene. The stimulant effects of caffeiene appear to be its only effect.
  • Probiotic Blend (20mg): Probiotics are bacteria, which are beneficial to the digestive system – so called friendly flora. There can be health issues depending on the type used. Not disclosed here.
  • Cascara Sagrada (10mg): A powerful stimulant laxative and can cause dehydration and your potassium levels to drop.

So What Does All This Mean?

You may notice an appetite suppressing effect from this supplement. You may also notice an energy burst thanks to the coffee and synephrine but this will depend on your tolerance to stimulants.

You may experience side effects. Cascara Sagrada is a strong laxative so taking this supplement could see you spending an increase time in your bathroom.

We are concerned about the chromium content. Many supplements on the market contain chromium but a far as we can see Creative Bioscience are the only company that have been cautioned for selling supplements with a high Lead content.

You might not notice any effect from this, but it could lead to long-term health issues.

eAC 1234 may cause side effects. These may include:

Any eAC 1234 Reviews From Customers?

eAC 1234 has generated some customer reviews and opinion is mixed.

Some customers are happy. Many have combined the capsules with the diet drops and the diet and have lost weight.

For the month that I took these pills, I hardly felt any hunger pains. Yes, occasionally I would get them but without the pills.
I would never have lasted on my diet. They made me feel full quicker and I hardly ever finished my full meals. This combined with HCG1234 and some multivitamins, I started losing weight fast.

Product really worked. It took the edge off feeling hungry and best part was no jitters. Just purchased again.

And:

I don’t know about you, but I like this pick me up when I need it!

Not everyone is as happy and there is a high proportion of negative feedback.

This customer was disappointed:

Bought this product with high hopes to work in conjunction with HCG 1234…but, neither worked at all…did nothing for appetite… Don’t waste your money!

This customer was cross with the advice not to drink coffee in combination with the capsules,

I was actually more hungry? I don’t like that I cannot have any other forms of caffeine all day. That should be clearly specified

Some customers experience side effects:

…after the first day gave me severe abdominal cramps and every time I took it I got diarrhoea. Waste of money

Some customers had no effects, good or bad.

Did nothing for me no energy boost, no appetite control, no weight loss. just a waste of money will not recommend.

So Does eAC 1234 Work?

If you use eAC 1234 in combination with a low calorie diet plan such as the 1200 calories a day programme, you may find it offers some support. Some customers have felt that it helps and there is some evidence that Caralluma Fimbriata may help reduce hunger pangs.

However, it obviously does not work for everyone. There is a risk of side effects and as the reviewer stated; if you do take this supplement, you are advised to avoid your usual cups of coffee, tea or favourite sodas.

We are very concerned about the chromium issue and the fact that Creative Bioscience have been singled out and fined for using Lead in supplements. Many supplements contain chromium and do not run into these problems which makes us wonder what is going on here.

Health advice is that we do not need to take chromium supplements. This trace mineral is easily obtainable by diet and the body requires very little of it.

Watchdog Verdict

We are not very impressed with eAC 1234. This supplement seems to contain a jumble of ingredients that may clash with each other,

For example, there seems to be little point in taking Caralluma Fimbriata – which may stay in your stomach and provide an appetite suppressing effect, in combination with Cascara sagrada, a powerful stimulant laxative. It just does not seem to make sense and it is highly likely that this supplement has never actually been tested which is a matter for concern.

In addition, we have concerns about the ingredients. What is contained in the probiotic blend? Is it safe? And does this supplement contain high levels of Lead as some of the other Creative Bioscience supplements appear to?

Take as advised and you have to give up your coffee for a month, which will be a serious drawback for many users.

However, it is not all bad news. There are some good points about eAC 1234. According to some of the people who have tried it, this supplement has helped provide some support and they have found it has helped them lose weight.

We like some of the ingredients too such as Caralluma Fimbriata and ginger root, which have positive benefits for health and weight loss.

Despite the good points, this is an easy decision. In our opinion eAC, 1234 has too many potential safety issues for us to recommend it, so we have no alternative but to reject this supplement.
