Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free

Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free is a weight loss supplement that claims to work as a fat burner but without the stimulant effects. Fat burners usually need stimulants in order to work so will taking this supplement be like trying to perk yourself up with caffeine-free coffee? We take a look at Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free to find out.

Hydroxycut is a well-known supplement brand famed for providing a wide range of ultra-strong supplements to the body-building sector. The company is quite controversial and has past form in selling supplements that are dangerous to health. Despite this, Hydroxycut supplements remain well regarded as a leading American brand.

What You Need To Know About Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free

Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free looks to be pretty ineffective. Although Hydroxycut supplements can be powerful and are renowned for causing side effects, Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free is the complete opposite. The good news is that it is unlikely to cause side effects. The principle weight loss ingredient is Robusta coffee and although it contains some healthy ingredients such as Macqui and Blackberry, ingredient amounts seem too low to be effective.

What Are The Side Effects Of Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free?

Side effects are unlikely. You probably will not notice any effect at all.

How Much Does Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free Cost?

Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free looks like a waste of money but at least it will not cost you a fortune in finding out.

You can buy it from Walmart where a bottle of 60 capsules (30 servings) costs $19.88.

It is also on sale from Amazon UK where 60 capsules will cost £11.49.

On Amazon USA you have a larger size bottle; 1 x bottle of 72 capsules costs $14.93.

Our Verdict On Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free

Although it is good that customers have not noticed side effects from taking this supplement, in our opinion it is unlikely that there will be many weight loss effects either. There is very little in Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free; the ingredients are in low quantities and the claims about the benefits of chlorogenic acid have been exaggerated.

The so-called clinical proof provided by the product information does not even refer to this supplement, instead it bases the claims on a green coffee bean supplement called Svetol. Hydroxycut does not contain this. It contains Robusta coffee – the same as much of the cheaper coffee we drink and this has a much lower percentage of chlorogenic acid than Green Coffee.

In our opinion many people are taking this supplement because of the Hydroxycut name and if you use it in combination with your own weight loss program and lose weight, you may feel that this is because of the supplement. The placebo effect should not be underestimated and anything that helps you without causing side effects may be worth a try if you believe in it. However Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free just does not contain ingredients that will live up to the claims so cannot really work in the way as described.

Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free Review

Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free is a weight loss supplement that unlike most Hydroxycut supplements is targeted firmly at women. The product page shows women in bikinis and features a so-called real customer testimonial stating that Caroline lost 39 lbs in 17 weeks. Well done Caroline! The results look pretty impressive so the obvious message here is that it will work for you too.

Hydroxycut is not known for ‘safe’ and ‘female friendly’ supplements. Although their products are not gender specific, the company deal mainly with the body-building side of weight loss and strong stimulants that are more likely to appeal to men and serious fitness fans. By contrast this supplement looks safer and more mainstream in its appeal.

Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free Facts

  • Available in either 60 capsule bottles or 72 capsule bottles.
  • Contains Robusta coffee extract not green coffee bean extract.
  • On sale from Walmart, Amazon USA and Amazon UK.

Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free contains a type of coffee called Robusta as the key ingredient. As coffee fans the world over know, this is a very common type of coffee and the one usually used in instant coffee. In better quality coffees Robusta is usually blended with the more expensive Arabica as on its own it can taste bitter.

All coffees contain chlorogenic acid – a natural chemical compound that is known as an antioxidant. Chlorogenic acid is also supposed to help you lose weight and has been widely touted as a wonder ingredient for weight loss.

How to Take Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free

Take one serving (2 tablets) twice daily, 30 to 60 minutes before your two main meals.

Antioxidant rich ingredients feature in Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free proprietary blend. These include berry extracts Macqui and Blackberry as well as Amla extract. Amla is also a berry – sometimes known as the Indian gooseberry that may help reduce cholesterol levels. The formula also contains Papaya leaves and Saffron. Again these natural plant extracts may have benefits for health and there has been some research into their use for weight loss too. The final ingredient is calcium. This mineral is especially important for women who often experience bone thinning as they age.

Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free Concerns:

  • Misleading clinical evidence.
  • Waste of money.
  • Will the company ‘reformulate’ this supplement and add dangerous ingredients? They have done it before.

The Hydroxycut brand has had a chequered history. Past supplements have been dangerous and linked to causing deaths because of the ingredients contained in some of the formulas. Many Hydroxycut supplements have been reformulated over and again and even today the company are not averse to including very questionable ingredients in their diet pills. Many Hydroxycut supplements contain Yohimbine and Synephrine – two stimulant ingredients with proven risks to health. Hydroxycut supplements are known to be strong!

That said Hydroxycut is a very well-known brand in the USA and available from stores such as Walmart as well as specialist outlets. In the UK you can buy some of the safer looking Hydroxycut supplements from outlets such as Asda.

What Does Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free Claim To Do?

The Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free advertising mentions four key features (although most of these are around the fact that the coffee is decaffeinated).

  • Advanced Weight Loss
  • 99% Caffeine Free
  • Non-Stimulant
  • Decaffeinated Key Ingredient

The ‘advanced weight loss’ claim is explained more fully on the website.

It states that,

Subjects taking the key ingredient in Hydroxycut® 99% Caffeine Free (C. canephora robusta) for 60 days lost an average of 10.95 lbs. versus the placebo group, which lost an average of 5.40 lbs. Both groups followed a low-calorie diet…

We looked further into this research and found that the figures were not derived from any testing carried out by Hydroxycut but come from a clinical study into Svetol – a green coffee bean extract described as ’rich in chlorogenic acids”.

We thought this was pretty cheeky of the Hydroxycut advertising to use a totally different product as proof that their ingredient works. Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free does not look to be the same as Svetol so although both products contain chlorogenic acid they may not work in the same way.

Does Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free Work?

It might work a bit but results are unlikely to be earth shattering. According to the clinical test (of another product) that Hydroxycut mentions as proof, the volunteers lost an average of 10.95 lbs over 60 days if they combined the pill with combined with diet and exercise.

However the placebo group lost an average of 5.40lbs so over a full 8 weeks, the difference between taking this supplement and not taking this supplement works out at just 5.55lb.

This supplement is not going to make much difference to most people. However according to the clinical test it may help you lose a couple of extra pounds or so. (That is, if this supplement works as well as Svetol. There are no guarantees that it will).

It is important to remember that going it alone with diet and exercise should result in the loss of around 1 lb – 2 lb a week.

What Are The Ingredients of Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free?

Apart from the calcium, all ingredients are combined in a proprietary blend making it impossible to see individual servings. However serving size is equal to two capsules. Figures here relate to serving size not per capsule.

  • Calcium: Calcium is the most abundant mineral in the body and especially important for women who can suffer bone thinning as they age. However with the recommended daily requirement of between 1000 mg and 1200 mg, quantities here are ineffective. Calcium is in lots of different foods especially dairy products. A tiny piece cheddar cheese for example contains a 307 mg. A low-fat yoghurt around 415 mg per serving.
  • Robusta Coffee Extract: The cheapest type of coffee so this “special” ingredient as described by Hydroxycut is just not that special; it is the same as the bog standard coffee you drink as instant coffee only with the caffeine removed. Some evidence suggests that chlorogenic acid contained in coffee may help weight loss but clinical testing indicates that the effect may be small. The chlorogenic acid here is lower strength than is seen in green coffee bean supplement Svetol which contains 50% chlorogenic acid per weight of green coffee. 45% chlorogenic content of Robusta will not be as high.
  • Papaya Leaf Extract: The leaf contains a powerful chemical called Papain and may be useful in the treatment of internal parasites and gastric problems. It may help the body digest proteins.
  • Macqui: South American berry known for its high levels of antioxidants. May help increase metabolism and be of benefit to general health.
  • Blackberry: All berries are high in antioxidants and blackberry is no exception.
  • Amla Extract: Amla is also a berry – sometimes known as the Indian gooseberry that may help reduce cholesterol levels. However it requires more clinical testing to prove these claims.
  • Saffron Extract: Very expensive spice derived from the crocus flower and important in culinary use. When tested on women between 21 and 45 it seemed it might play a role in eliminating snacking. However, results require further testing.

Does Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free Have Any Side Effects?

Side effects are unlikely. You may struggle to notice any effects at all. The proprietary blend contains only 241 mg per serving and because the ingredients are just fruit extracts and decaffeinated coffee, these low servings are unlikely to cause you any problems.

Caution:
Not suitable for individuals under 18. Avoid if pregnant or breast feeding and take medical advice first if you are taking any prescription medication or have any underlying health concerns. This is standard advice for all supplements.

Are There Any Customer Reviews For Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free?

There are some customer reviews posted on the Walmart website. In our opinion some of them seem a little too good to be true, judging that the ingredients profile looks so weak.

My husband suggested that I try this because it is caffeine free and WOW!!! I was immediately blown away by this pill. I had tried other pills in the past with little result and finally found success with Hydroxycut.

Another reviewer also lost weight. She writes,

Because I wanted to do this slowly I cut the recommended amount in half and much to my surprise I have lost 7 pounds in 9 days. No jitters from the supplement! Other than cutting out junk food I have not changed my routine at all.

Cutting out junk food is a major change of routine for many of us and ditching the junk food will make a huge difference to weight loss results.

We also found some customer reviews posted on Amazon. Comments included:

It’s not as good as the original.

And,

Did not make any difference to weight loss even with dieting guide.

However there s some positive feedback from customers who feel it has helped control appetite. As this customer reported,

I believe it also serves as a mild appetite suppressant and energy stimulant – without the jittery effects or nervousness of caffeine…

Does Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free Offer a Money-Back Guarantee?

There is no money-back guarantee with Hydroxycut Pro Clinical Caffeine Free
