In this review, we look at the Invictus Labs Elite Burn in more detail to see whether it helps users lose weight, burn fat, and improve their overall health and fitness as the makers claim, or whether there are better things to spend your hard earned money on. Keep on reading to see what we thought.
Invictus Labs Elite Burn is a stimulant free fat burning supplement produced by Invictus Labs. It is a supplement in capsule form which is designed to burn fat, boost your metabolism, and improve your overall health and fitness. It uses popular weight loss ingredient, Garcinia Cambogia. The user is required to take two capsules a day, with breakfast.
Garcinia Cambogia can have a whole host of side effects, including stomach issues, headaches, upper respiratory problems, nausea, and sickness.
The FDA released a warning in 2009, as a supplement containing high levels of Garcinia Cambogia caused some severe reactions in some users, including liver damage. It should not be taken if you have any sort of liver condition or diabetes.
HCA may affect sperm production in men and cholesterol levels. It also contains xanthones, which have been linked to stomach issues, lung damage, breast cancer, and leukaemia.
Garcinia cambogia has such little scientific evidence to support its effectiveness, and even the small amount that backs it up shows a very small amount of weight loss and are possibly flawed anyway. As an additional ingredient, it’s fine, but as the key ingredient in a weight loss supplement, it’s just not good enough.
There seem to be two different products under the same name, with different ingredients. This particular one doesn’t appear to be on the official website, which makes us think that Invictus Labs have redesigned and rebranded the product.
With this in mind, we do not recommend Invictus Labs Elite Burn to our readers.

Invictus Labs Elite Burn is a supplement made by Invictus Labs and is designed to burn fat, boost metabolism, and help improve overall fitness and health without the use of stimulants. On Amazon, the bottle shows the description ‘weight management formula’. On the official Invictus Labs website, a supplement also called Elite Burn shows as ‘weight management complex’ and has different ingredients. The one we are reviewing today is the one shown on Amazon, which does not appear to be available on the official website. It is unclear whether it has been discontinued, or rebranded.
The key ingredient of the Invictus Labs Elite Burn is Garcinia Cambogia, a popular addition to weight loss and fat burning supplements. To understand how this supplement would work, we need to look at garcinia cambogia in more detail.
It is a tropical fruit, also known as ‘malabar tamarind’, and is jam-packed with important nutrients. It is used in a large number of weight loss supplements, with manufacturers claiming that it can:
Take two capsules once a day. For best results, take 20-30 minutes before your meal with an 8oz glass of water or as directed by your healthcare professional.
It contains high levels of hydroxycitric acid, which became popular for its supposed weight loss qualities in the 1990’s. Garcinia Cambogia was further bolstered in reputation when Dr Oz hailed it as the next big thing in weight loss on one of his shows in 2013. It is supposed to work by acting as a carb blocker. It blocks an enzyme called Citrate Lyase, which plays a role in converting carbs and sugars into fat. When this enzyme is blocked, any unused carbs are used for energy production rather than stored as fat.
This all sounds great, especially if you eat a high-carb diet, as many people these days do. However, whilst animal studies have shown some small positive effects on weight loss, generally most have been flawed or inconclusive. In fact, it flagged up other issues associated with the supplementation of HCA – congenital defects were discovered in rats, and it was also shown to be toxic to the testes.
A couple of studies – again, flawed – showed a small weight loss of 1-2lbs on average when compared with participants taking a placebo, but also found side effects were twice as common. These included headaches, stomach issues, upper respiratory issues, sickness, and nausea. The Journal of Obesity confirmed that supplementing with Garcinia Cambogia may have a very small positive effect on weight loss, but only when attention was paid to the diet at the same time.
In terms of it working as an appetite suppressant – there is no evidence, despite claims it does work. It is thought that HCA triggers 5-hydroxytryptophan. which release serotonin – the feel-good hormone, which in turn increases the feeling of fullness. However, there really isn’t anything to back this up.
Invictus Labs are an online dietary supplement store, based in Abilene, Texas. On their ‘contact me’ page on the website, there is an address and an email address. There is no information on when they started up. They stock a range of supplements, from wellness and athletic support, and male health specific ones. They have social media accounts but have not been active on them for around six months, at the time of writing.
The manufacturer of Invictus Labs Elite Burn claims that the product is:
It may, for some users, help them to lose a couple of extra pounds if a healthy diet is followed as well. However, if the customer is following a healthy, low-calorie diet, they are likely to lose weight anyway, so it is difficult to say whether the supplement is having any effect. The manufacturer claims that it can help with overall health and fitness – calcium can help to an extent, but the amount in this supplement is unlikely to make any great difference.
Potential side effects of Garcinia Cambogia include headaches, skin rash, upset stomach, abdominal cramps, gas, loss of appetite, fatigue, chest pains, lightheadedness, slowed heartbeat, constipation, and allergic reactions.
Always consult your physician or licensed qualified healthcare professional before using this product. If you begin to experience any side effects, consult your doctor and discontinue use. Your doctor will have your extensive medical health history as well as knowledge of what other substances you are consuming, which is important when taking a supplement. Actual product packaging and materials may contain different information than what is shown on our website. We recommend that you do not rely solely on the information presented and that you always read labels, warnings, and directions before using or consuming a product.

I can tell the formula for this product was researched thoroughly because the ingredient profile on this is outstanding. I bought this product as an appetite suppressant and it’s been working wonders. Definitely recommend it as a supplement to your fat-loss diet and training regime.
However, 9% of customers left a one-star rating, with comments such as:
Did not curb appetite and no more energy. I contacted the vendor without response for a free bottle as the cap indicated. Never responded or send complimentary bottle. My husband decided to use them but I will never purchase again. On to a new product
