Kyani are a multi-level marketing company who put a lot of focus into recruiting new distributors who overhype their products (we’ve all had the messages about a “great business opportunity” from people we went to school with but haven’t seen in years). These particular products, Kyani Sunrise and Kyani Sunset, are basically a multivitamin and an omega-3 supplement. Both of which are overpriced.
Pros
Cons
Below, we take an in-depth look at two products in the Kyani range, Kyani Sunrise and Kyani Sunset.
We are not impressed by the business model that Kyani uses at all. They focus so heavily upon recruiting new consultants that they neglect to promote the actual products in their range. Customers have reported poor customer service once they have refused to join the company, and new recruits have reported that they felt mislead or cheated out of their money, and were charged each month for new products even if they were unable to sell them.
There are many independent distributers of Kyani products who make unfounded claims about the products, describing it as a miracle and a medicine. The majority of the many positive customer reviews we located are all written by distributers, who have a vested interest in promoting the company and the benefits of the products.
It is very difficult to track down information about the products that Kyani sell, but very easy to find out about their pay schemes, compensation plans and company bonuses such as cars and holidays.
As for the products themselves; whilst they contain a high dose of vitamins and minerals, the products do not appear to be targeted at any particular type of customer; they are marketed as a cure-all product. Kyani Sunrise and Kyani Sunset will most likely not aid weight loss, although they may benefit those who have vitamin deficiencies, and to mitigate the side effects associated with these deficiencies.
There are several potential side effects, mostly involving the potential worsening of current health problems. Please see the Side Effects tab below for full details.
Via amazon, a 30 day supply of Kyani Sunrise costs $52.00 with free shipping. Via amazon, a 30 day supply of Kyani Sunset costs $53.35 with free shipping. Other sellers offer these products at cheaper prices, but with high shipping costs that make the purchase more expensive overall.
Kyani are an international company that sells a range of health improving supplements. The manufacturers of Kyani products, and the distributers that sell them, make a huge range of claims about the potency of their products; they claim that a combination of three of their products make up the Kyani Triangle of Health. These products, it is claimed, will ‘Defend, repair, and maintain every cell in your body.’ This article looks at two of the three products used in the Triangle of Health, Kyani Sunrise, and Kyani Sunset.
It appears that the company headquarters in based in Göteborg, Sweden, but there are national offices and contact details for many countries and areas. Contact details will vary depending upon the customer’s location, and customers may be instructed to contact their distributer directly, only contacting the parent company if the distributer is unable to help them.
Kyani put a lot more energy into recruiting more independent sales consultants by describing the benefits of their company than they do into describing or selling their actual products. This is not only inconvenient for the customer, but is also a red flag for the company operating under a Multi-Level Marketing Business Model that operates its recruitment process in a manner often compared to a pyramid scheme. This is supported by the numerous comments on the Kyani facebook page from customers and people who have been pressured to sign up as a distributer.
Take one packet (30ml) of Kyani Sunrise with your morning meal. It may be mixed with water, juice or food. Shake well before use. Kyani Sunset should be taken as a dietary supplement, with consumers taking three softgels daily, preferably with the evening meal or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
Kyani manufactures supplements, not medicines, and so potential customers should be incredibly cautious when listening to claims that these supplements prevent and treat illnesses. The company and its distributers are not legally allowed to make claims that their products act as a medicine, and yet regularly make statements to this effect.
The company stress the incredibly large amount of food that a person would need to eat to consume the amount of vitamins contained in these products, but do so in a misleading manner, usually by comparing the product to a food that is low in the vitamin they are discussing.
Whilst the products do contain a high level of vitamins and some minerals, there is little evidence that these products will cure illnesses or aid significant weight loss. Indeed, weight loss is one of the few claims that the manufacturers do not make about this product. Some of the ingredients could reduce inflammation, alter cortisol levels in the brain, and the high levels of anti-oxidants found in these fruits could benefit general health somewhat.
Omega 3 is a useful supplement to take, especially if the consumer dislikes eating fresh fish. However, we recommend sourcing vitamins and minerals from a varied and healthy diet, rather than continuing with a poor diet and depending upon a supplement to make up the difference. There are seemingly no benefits to taking Kyani Sunset over any other brand of fish oil or omega-3 supplement.
According to various sellers of Kyani products, Kyani Sunrise and Kyani Sunset have numerous benefits.
Benefits of Kyani Sunrise include:
Benefits of Kyani Sunset include:
Kyani Sunrise and Kyani Sunset do work as expensive multivitamin and omega 3 supplements; however, they will not work miracles, or do the work of actual medications. Some of the ingredients may reduce inflammation, which could be useful for those with arthritis. They will not aid weight loss.

The ingredients used in Kyani Sunrise and Kyani Sunset are provided below.
No ingredient quantities are provided for these products as they are proprietary formulas. The products contain vitamins and minerals, and so the quantities for these are listed, along with the percentage of the recommended daily allowance.
When considering the vitamins and minerals provided by these products, consumers should also consider that they will also consume these vitamins and minerals from other food sources; over supplementation of vitamins can lead to side effects, as we discuss below in more detail.
Kyani Sunrise
The ingredients for this supplement are listed below; the quantities of the vitamins and minerals appear to be what is present naturally in the fruit ingredients used in the product. Each daily serving of one pouch contains 41 calories, 9 grams of carbohydrates and 7 grams of sugar.
Natural Trace Minerals (Source from ancient sea salt)
Antioxidant Blend
Kyani Sunset (dosages given per three capsule serving)
One concern we have with Kyani Sunrise is the enormous dose of vitamin B12 that it contains; a single serving contains 3,333% of a person’s RDA for the vitamin. The mayo clinic states that ‘Vitamin B12 is likely safe when taken according to the recommended dietary amounts (RDA) or less’ but recommends that B12 supplements should be used cautiously in many cases as over-supplementation can worsen some health problems. These include high blood pressure, cancer, gout, skin disorders, heart concerns, gastrointestinal problems.
Kyani Sunrise is also a significant source of sugar, with each daily serving containing 7 grams of sugar. Women should consume 25 grams of sugar or less per day, according to current nutritional guidelines, and so this should be factored into their daily nutritional intake. Diabetics should also be cautious when taking this product, and consult their doctor if they have any concerns about their use of the product.
Fish oil supplements such as Kyani Sunset can cause indigestion and gas. Customers have also reported having fishy breath. These supplements can also make bleeding more likely for people who have a bleeding disorder or those who take medications that could increase the chances of bleeding.
Consult your doctor before purchasing this product if you have any health issues or concerns about the suitability of this product, or if you are taking any medications. Despite claims made by some Kyani distributers, this product is not a medicine, and should not be used to replace prescribed medications for illnesses, injuries and ailments. Do not consume Kyani products if you have an allergy to any of the ingredients. Consult your doctor before purchase if you are under 18, or if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or plan to become pregnant in the near future.
There are hundreds of Kyani customer reviews located around the internet, but many of them seem to be written by people who have signed up as a distributer of the products. These reviews are not independent, and are heavily biased, with distributers making huge claims about the products in order to push sales.
Tried this. These people who are saying they’re losing weight, helps with inflammation, etc. I feel are just people trying to push sales. I tried it and still had inflammation in my knees, my grandma also tried it and says it didn’t make her feel any better or worse. Her arthritis was still making her miserable. I only tried for 2 weeks, grandma stopped taking them after about a month and a half. I’d be weary about some of these reviews
There are some customer reviews on amazon, one of the many locations where Kyani distributers are selling the products. Below are some of the customer reviews for Kyani Sunrise:
Great stuff. Use it daily. Was able to lose weight without losing energy and lacking the minerals I need daily.
I love the product – but they add shipping and tax to the price. If you are a member you only pay $35.95 for bottle and $42.95. Become a KyaniMembers, hope this helps.
Below are some of the amazon customer reviews for Kyani Sunset.
I had high hopes for this product but honestly I didn’t think it was any better or worse than any other Omega 3 supplement. I suppose the big difference is that this one costs a heck of a lot more than some other companies that produce quality supplements. Oh, and this one also gave me “fish burps” unlike the supplements I usually take. So, overall I’m not impressed. Certainly not impressed enough to buy it again…or try any of Kyani’s other products.
No improvement seen in health or comfort. One more of the Health Hype products.
The manufacturer offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, stating:
Kyäni is confident you will love our products. We offer Customers a 30-day Money Back Guarantee. If you aren’t satisfied with your initial order for any reason, we will refund your money. For additional questions, please contact Kyäni Customer Service at the contact information below.

Kyani products cannot be purchased directly from the company, and the official website refuses to provide an official price list, which allows for Kyani representatives to market the product however they like. There are literally hundreds of online stores that sell Kyani products, and there are many more Kyani distributers that do not have an online presence.
It also appears that customers who order through a kyani distributer can sign up to an autoship program for a discount. We strongly advise that autoship programs are avoided, as they can be difficult to cancel, are easy to forget about, and can end up being more expensive in the long run, especially when the consumer has numerous unwanted products.
There are seemingly no benefits to taking Kyani Sunset over any other brand of fish oil or omega-3 supplement.
The products sold by Kyani are incredibly expensive; if customers wanted to use the Kyani Triangle of Health, they could expect to pay $150 per month or perhaps even more, depending upon the individual distributer they order through.
In our opinion, this high cost is not worth the benefits of the Kyani range. We believe that it is better to overhaul your diet, and if needs be consult your doctor for a vitamin deficiency test, rather than to spend so much money on products that are manufactured by a company run as a pyramid scheme. We do not recommend Kyani Sunrise or Kyani Sunset to our readers, and heavily encourage them to avoid Kyani Inc in general.

I love the product and my lab test results prove the results.
Lisa E. Cool it with the ‘face legal action’ that’s why the internet and forums like this exist: for people to voice their options. The simple truth is Kyani products are VERY expensive and much cheaper, better solutions are out there. It’s expensive to pay off all the multilevel commissions which go all the way down the line. The products would be a 1/3 of the price otherwise.
Just research the ingredients. What I DON’T like is that their ‘sunrise’ product, which is mostly fish oil, is not purified to remove all traces of heavy metals; primarily mercury which is now proven to aid in dementia and Alzheimer’s.
REALLY a bad move here.
