Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate

Nutrex Research makes a huge deal about the Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate being their most potent fat-destroying supplement yet, and that being a liquid capsule, the powerful formula is absorbed quickly, thus getting to work quickly. It’s a more concentrated version of their original Lipo-6 Fat Burner.

In this review, we look at the Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate in more detail to see whether it lives up to its powerful claims, or whether there are better fat burning supplements out there.

Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate Overview

What You Need To Know About Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate

Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate is a twice-a-day liquid capsule supplement which claims to be the most potent fat burner that the manufacturer has made. It contains a variety of stimulants, including caffeine anhydrous, theobromine, and yohimbe. On the label image on the Amazon listing it says it contains theacrine, but in the listing, it talks about an ingredient called Advantra, which does not appear on the bottle. On the official website, Advantra is shown as an ingredient and theacrine is not listed.

It is unclear whether it has been rebranded due to concerns over Advantra, which contains synephrine. It is manufactured by Nutrex Research, an American supplement company.

What Are The Side Effects Of Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate?

Most of the ingredients in this supplement are stimulants so can cause jitteriness, anxiety, increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, heart palpitations, disruption to sleep patterns and headaches, amongst others. Citrus auntarium can cause vomiting and nausea, loss of appetite, mood swings, increased blood pressure and heart rate, dizziness, and an increased risk of strokes and heart attacks.

How Much Does Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate Cost?

Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate costs $25.89, with free shipping on Amazon. This is for 60 capsules, which should last the user for thirty days, if used as directed. From the official Nutrex Research website, it costs $24.95.

Our Verdict On Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate

If you want a supplement that is going to give you an extreme boost of energy, and potentially keeps you awake all night, this is one for you. It is absolutely crammed with stimulants, and even though they are within a proprietary blend, they are likely to have some sort of effect.

Will it have a fat burning effect though? We don’t think it will particularly. We think the main effect from it will be a short and sharp burst of energy, which could potentially leave you feeling jittery and anxious. Even the positive reviews left on Amazon suggest this.

We are unsure about what it actually contains, as the same product is listed on Amazon and the official Nutrex website, both showing different ingredients. One has bitter orange, the other doesn’t. We are hoping that it doesn’t include bitter orange, as this is an ingredient that has some really serious side effects. Yohimbe also has some really nasty side effects as well, and because of this, we cannot approve this product.

Overall, we do not recommend Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate to our readers.

Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate Key Features

Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate s a twice-daily fat burning liquid capsule supplement made in the USA. It is formulated with multiple stimulants to encourage lipolysis – the breakdown of body fat. When the fat is broken down, it is used to provide energy to the body. Nutrex Research makes a big deal on their website and on the Amazon listing about its potency, and how consumers only need to take one pill at a time to see an effect.

Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate Facts

  • Made in the USA
  • 60 Capsules per bottle
  • Manufactured by Nutrex Research

Nutrex Research are an established supplements brand based in Florida, USA. They started the business in 2002 and have a huge range of products under their belt, including a long line of lipo supplements. We have reviewed the original Lipo-6 before and were not impressed by it. You can also check out our older review of Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate here.

How to Take Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate

  • Take one black capsule in the morning and one black capsule in the afternoon. This is an ultra concentrated formula of extreme potency. Never exceed more that one black capsule per serving. Never take more than two servings in any 24 hour period. For maximum results, consume Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate at least 30 minutes before a meal. Do not take within six hours of sleep.

Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate Concerns:

  • Very short returns policy for opened products (just 15 days)
  • Use products that are potentially very dangerous

What Does Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate Claim To Do?

Nutrex Research claims that the Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate is:

  • The strongest LIPO-6 fat burner we have ever released. It’s so strong that you can never take more than one pill.
  • An ultra concentrated super potent one pill only formula that is designed to rapidly destroy body fat deposits.
  • Just one pill will set the stage for all-out fat burning

Does Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate Work?

We can’t say for sure if it works or not. Sure, it is jam-packed with stimulants which are likely to give you a boost and kick-start fat burning. However, because the quantities of each ingredient are hidden underneath a proprietary blend, we just don’t know if they’re high enough to work.

They are liquid capsules, which means that they are more likely to be absorbed into the body faster. This supplement may work for some people.

What Are The Ingredients of Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate?

Please note that the quantities of each individual ingredient are unknown. The quantity for the blend listed below is per serving of the Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate. Also, note the confusion of Advanta and Theacrine.

Ultra Concentrated Fat Destroying Complex (294.5mg)

  • Caffeine Anhydrous: This is a concentrated form of caffeine, usually found in tea, coffee, and energy drinks. It is one of the most used and possibly effective ingredients on the supplement market. It is used for many purposes, including providing energy and to support memory and mental performance. Caffeine combined with synephrine is thought to be a good combination for weight loss, as they work synergistically. Caffeine does have a range of side effects, which when combined with other stimulants, can be even more apparent.
  • Theobromine: This is found in tea and is formulation to promote increased blood flow, and to act as a diuretic to make you urinate more frequently. This decreases water retention and bloat. It is also known to be a heart stimulator, so will increase energy. There is not much information about the long-term effects or optimal dose to take.
  • Theacrine (as TeaCrine) (this is listed on the bottle on Amazon but not on the official website): TeaCrine is a branded form of Theacrine. It seems to work in a similar way to caffeine. Early research suggests that it may help to boost mental and physical performance, like caffeine, but more research is needed to confirm this effect.
  • Advanta Z Citrus Aurantium (50% Synephrine) (this is listed in the Amazon description and the bottle on the official website): This is also known as bitter orange and contains synephrine, which has an effect upon adrenaline and can put your body into a stressed fight or flight response. This response raises the heart rate and increases blood pressure, which is potentially dangerous. This ingredient can decrease the appetite by making you feel too stressed to eat. Ingredients similar to synephrine have been banned for their serious side effects.
  • Yohimbine HCI: This increases adrenaline in the body which may be beneficial to short-term fat loss. However, it can also increase anxiety and cortisol levels, the hormone that is related to stress. It must be taken during fasting for it to be effective and there are concerns that doses may not actually be accurate in supplements. It comes from the bark of an evergreen tree in Africa, where it is ground and used in traditional medicine. It is a known aphrodisiac and so is used to treat erectile dysfunction. It has been linked to severe side effects including irregular or rapid heartbeat, kidney failure, seizure, heart attack, and others. It is recommended that it is taken only under medical supervision and for a short time.
  • Rauwolscine: This ingredient is really closely related to Yohimbine and often appears alongside it. This is because when it comes to using plant extracts, it can be difficult to isolate individual compounds so many supplement companies just use both. This isn’t a pure form of the ingredient (as rauwolscine HCI would be). It is an alpha-receptor antagonist, which blocks the receptors responsible for blocking lipolysis.

Does Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate Have Any Side Effects?

Some of the side effects associated with Yohimbine and rauwolscine include racing heartbeat, headaches, jitters, dizziness, and nausea. Caffeine can also cause these effects, as well as disrupting sleep patterns.

Citrus auntarium can cause vomiting and nausea, loss of appetite, mood swings, increased blood pressure and heart rate, dizziness, and an increased risk of strokes and heart attack.

Not for use by persons under 18. Do not use if pregnant or nursing. Never exceed the recommended maximum dosage. Do not consume synephrine, yohimbine, caffeine or thyroid-boosting compounds from other sources, including but not limited to, coffee, tea, soda and other dietary supplements or medications containing phenylephrine or caffeine or any stimulants whatsoever. This product contains caffeine. Do not use this product for longer than 2 months. Consult your physician prior to use if you are taking medication, including but not limited to, MAOI inhibitors, antidepressants, aspirin, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or products containing phenylephrine, ephedrine, pseudoephedrine, phenylethylamine or other stimulants. Consult your physician prior to use if you have a medical condition, including but not limited to, heart, liver, kidney or thyroid disease, psychiatric disorders, difficulty urinating, diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiac arrhythmia, recurrent headaches, enlarged prostate or glaucoma. Discontinue use 2 weeks prior to surgery. Immediately discontinue if you experience rapid heartbeat, dizziness, severe headaches or shortness of breath. This product contains ingredients that may be banned by some sports organizations

Are There Any Customer Reviews For Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate?

There are almost 300 reviews for this product on Amazon.

Many reviews (even positive ones) state that it gives them energy, but they have not seen any effect on weight loss.

Positive comments include:

Definitely gives an energy boost, but I didn’t see results regarding fat loss. Diet is the most important factor there, but this can help supplement your activities.

Critical comments include:

bought this because my mom had used it a year and a half ago to shed a few pounds and she said it worked and recommended it. I didn’t pay mind to the change in ingredients as other costumers mentioned and maybe it really did change the way it affected people. I took the first pill this morning and I feel so jittery and my heart is pounding, it’s making me sweat, my hands are cold and clammy and i feel like I drank 10 shots of espresso. It is not a good feeling and I am not caffeine sensitive – I can drink a cup of coffee before bed and sleep perfectly fine. This is not a good feeling and it is not worth it to keep taking. Waste of money if you react bad to it

  1. In my product the ingedients are also not the same, it contains the same ingredients as Matt states! Maybe we have a better or improved (less dangerous) formula. Is it still not adviced to use the product and will you research/review the new formula??

  2. I have got this exact product. Literally have got a bottle with me right now. None of the ingredients listed in this review are in my product, except caffeine. Quite strange. Maybe they have changed the ingredients very recently, but I see this review is less than one year old. In my Lipo 6 Black Ultra Concentrate there is: Chromium, Caffeine, Tyrosine, Paullinia Cupana (Guarana), Citrus Aurantium (Bitter Orange), Capsicum Annuum (Chilli Pepper) and Piper Nigrum (Black Pepper). There’s no Yohimbe, Synephrine or Theobromine.

Either they have changed the ingredients recently or this review is wildly inaccurate!

I’ve been using this product, two caps per day, for a month and I’m happy with it. It’s pretty strong but not so strong as to cause any unpleasant side effects. Certainly suppresses appetite, meaning you can eat less without feeling really hungry.
