Macro Life Naturals Miracle Reds Facts

  • Manufactured by Macro Life Naturals.
  • Comes in a range of sizes.
  • Contains 19 fruits and berries in powder form.

Macro Life Naturals Miracle Reds is a fruit based general health supplement that is manufactured by Macro Life Naturals. The company state that they:

are dedicated to bringing the unique tastes and proven health benefits of nature’s amazing fruits to you with Miracle Reds superfood supplements.

They add that:

All ingredients that make up every MacroLife Natural product are natural, organic, vegan, gluten free and raw. There are also no GMO products used in any MacroLife Naturals product. The formulas were meticulously created and tested for optimum health enhancement.

Whilst this product does contain numerous ‘fruit powders’, it should not be used as a replacement for a healthy and balanced diet that includes actual fruits and vegetables. Other than containing a significant dose of vitamin C, the vitamin profile of this supplement is disappointing, especially since the product contains so many different fruits and berries.

Macro Life Naturals are based in the USA. The company can be contacted using the information located on their official website. According to the laws of the State of California, Macro Life Naturals have to declare on the side of the tub that the product contains lead, indicating that each serving of the product contains 0.5mcg or more of lead. This appears to be naturally occurring, but ingesting lead can lead to health problems. Anyone who is concerned about the lead content of this product should consult their doctor for more information, and should ensure that they stick to the guidelines for use that are laid out on the official product website. Although the amount of lead per serving falls above the limits put in place in California, the product contains far less lead than the upper limit set by the World Health Organisation, which is regarded as the international standard. The World Health Organisation’s guidelines for lead quantities per serving are a maximum of 10mcg per serving.

A berry that has been wrongly hyped up as a weight-loss super-food, Acai berry use in diet pills has rocketed in recent years. Acai berry is high in Anthocyanins, antioxidants which may help to protect the body against cancer, inflammation, aging, neurological diseases, diabetes, and bacterial infections. However, any claims that it aids weight loss are unproven.
  • Green Tea Leaf Extract (60% polyphenols): Green tea is high in a group of antioxidants called catechins. Studies have suggested that catechins and caffeine both increase energy expenditure by boosting the metabolism slightly for few hours.

  • Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract (24% Flavone Glycosides, 6% Terpene Lactones): May improve blood circulation.
  • Grape Seed Extract (95% Proanthocyanidins): Grape seed extract may help to lower cholesterol levels and improve poor circulation. It is also high in anti-oxidants, which may benefit health in general.
  • Milk Thistle Seed Extract (80% Silymarin): Milk thistle is usually used to treat liver disorders and liver damage. It is also thought to treat heartburn, diabetes (alongside prescribed medication), allergy symptoms, and starting menstrual flow.

Researchers found that satiety levels were much higher when the tea was consumed with breakfast, rather than just the breakfast on its own.

Harmonizing and Support Herbs Proprietary Blend 1070 mg

So What Does All This Mean?

There is a huge list of ingredients used in Macro Life Naturals Miracle Reds. However, other than some vague titles for the proprietary formulas, the manufacturers do not give much information about what each ingredients intended purpose is.

There are a few ingredients, such as green tea, ginger root and FOS (fructo-oligosaccharides) that could theoretically aid a small amount of weight loss, if they are used in the appropriate quantities. There are also numerous sources of antioxidants, which can have a range of health benefits, from lowered risk of certain cancers, potentially slowing the ageing process, to increasing thermogenesis in the body.

Because it is unclear just what a fruit powder is (how it is processed and what parts of each fruit are used or survive the creation process) it is unclear how much benefit the fruits in this supplement would actually have in comparison to fresh fruits.

Does Macro Life Naturals Miracle Reds Have Any Side Effects?

We could not find any reports of side effects from customers. The manufacturers infer that dizziness, confusion, muscle weakness or pain, abnormal heart beat and/or difficulty breathing are all rare but possible side effects that could be caused by the supplement, and that consumers should immediately stop taking the product if they experience any of these side effects.

The company are quick to state the supposed benefits of the product, but they also provide a huge list of cautions and warnings about the product on their official website.

Any Macro Life Naturals Miracle Reds Reviews From Customers?

There are hundreds of customer reviews for this product on the many third party retail websites that sell Macro Life Naturals Miracle Reds.

I saw no changes from taking this. The flavor is good but it does not completely dissolve. I have to shake my drink holder to mix it up every time I take a drink. I felt like it was pretty much a waste of money.

This is one of the best drink i could ever get, it has so much inside which could give me the best. The only down side is it required some shaking or stirring to do as it is in powder form. It does taste good too even mix with just plain warm or cold water. No sugar or other needed. It also reduce the fatigue of the body.

Great tasting and good for you in many ways. It’s quite hard to find products these days that are both super great tasting while at the same time good for you. This is one of them. IT mixes very will and I take it in the middle of the day. It’s got a little bit of every fruit all in one serving!

So I have been buying this product for about 4 years. Everything about it seems good. So imagine my surprised when I got my order today and saw that in small print there was a sticker that said “Contains lead, which is a substance known to cause cancer”. I thought it must be a joke, a mistake. So off to Google I went and sure enough, it looks like earlier this year, the company that makes this settled a lawsuit in which they ADMITTED that it contained 5mcg of lead per serving, which is considered to be a dangerous daily dose (and of course you are supposed to have this every day)! I will NEVER buy this again, and it is beyond me whey Amazon still carries this product!

The positive reviews for this product appear to be quite vague on the actual benefits experienced by the consumer. One reported feeling less fatigued, but it appears to be generally accepted that Macro Life Naturals Miracle Reds is just ‘good for you’.

The product does contains a lot of fruit-based ingredients, and numerous other ingredients that are generally viewed as beneficial for general health.

Watchdog Verdict

Overall, we are not impressed with Macro Life Naturals Miracle Reds at all. We dislike the use of the word Miracle in the product name, as it drastically overstates the potency of the product. The manufacturers are keen to state just how wonderful their product supposedly is, but manage to avoid making any concrete claims about the benefits of the product. Generally it is described as a supplement that ‘Supports the Maintenance of Good Health’. Customers who love the product still fail to report many perceived changes or benefits from taking the product, and numerous reviews state that they felt no difference at all when taking the product.

Macro Life Naturals do not offer a money back guarantee, and fail to clearly state on their official website what their returns policy is.

Despite the product being raw, GMO free, vegan, organic and all-natural, there is still a long list of cautions and warnings detailing who should not take the product.

Overall, we do not recommend Macro Life Naturals Miracle Reds to our readers.
