We take a look at this “proven natural weight loss product” to see if it’s the answer to your reducing fat and achieving fast weight loss!
We first tried to find out more about the manufacturer of MaxiSlim. We struck out as we could find no information as to who is behind MaxiSlim diet pills! This was until we were contacted by the manufacturer “Health Arena Limited” who own the product but not the MaxiSlim website, which is owned by MaxiMuscle.
We initially only found MaxiSlim available from 3rd party retailers and not directly from the manufacturer. Since receiving new information from the manufacturer we can see that MaxiSlim is available online directly from the manufacturer.
Our next step was to look at the retailers stocking MaxiSlim. A number of health food and weight loss retailers that seem to be only based in the UK stock MaxiSlim, many of which seem to be sold from fairly average and amateur looking websites!
Encouragingly our research found NO reports of MaxiSlim scams online.
There also appears to be a MaxiSlim Night version available too, that can help you lose weight whilst you sleep! This contains no stimulants but a range of amino acids to help promote muscle tone and regeneration as well as continuing fat burning.
Although no special diets are suggested to be required with MaxiSlim, to get the best results it is recommended to be used alongside a healthy diet and regular exercise routine.
You are suggested to take 1 to 2 capsules 30 minutes before breakfast and 1 to 2 capsules before lunch, repeating for 5 to 6 days with a day off. You are advised to reduce caffeine intake from your diet, so if you regularly drink tea or coffee you should reduce your intake, along with ensuring you drink plenty of water throughout the day.
The claims made by online retailers of MaxiSlim is that it’s a proven weight loss supplement containing thermogenic and appetite suppressing ingredients that;
So MaxiSlim is a dual acting diet pill that looks to increase metabolism along with reducing appetite so that you burn more calories whilst reducing calorie consumption. It is claimed that the unique combination of natural herbs within MaxiSlim will help to achieve fast weight loss.
Most retailers selling MaxiSlim promote it as an effective natural supplement. We found many of the ingredients to be familiar and can be seen in other supplements.
The ingredients in MaxiSlim are not always fully disclosed by retailers but after some searching we were able to get the listed amounts.
At first glance MaxiSlim looks to contain a good mixture of ingredients designed to promote fat burning and help to suppress appetite. Upon looking at the ingredient profile and more importantly the quantities used, it relies heavily on caffeine, Green Tea and L-Tyrosine.
The other ingredients used are in fairly small amounts and we question whether these will have much impact!
There are a number of stimulants contains in MaxiSlim that may and have indeed caused some side effects with consumers. Symptoms such as nervousness, tremors, sleeplessness and nausea may be experienced if you are particularly sensitive to caffeine.
Do not take MaxiSlim later than 3pm to avoid insomnia.
Caution: You are not recommended to take MaxiSlim if you are allergic to shellfish, pregnant or breastfeeding, on any medication, suffer from heart conditions, thyroid problems, high blood pressure, diabetes, or are under the age of 18.
We only found a few MaxiSlim consumer reviews, a concern for a supplement available for some time!
A couple of the reviews we did find were not too favourable. They suggested that appetite was reduced slightly but complained of side effects or not losing any weight!
The ingredients in MaxiSlim are not fully disclosed so it is impossible to know if sufficient amounts are available to actually work. No references to clinical trials to backup any of the claims made by MaxiSlim either.
Not a great start! So let’s take a look at the ingredients to see if they have the potential to promote weight loss.
L’Tyrosine, Green Tea and Cayenne Powder have all been shown to positive weight loss properties and have studies that suggest they can help suppress appetite and boost metabolism IF present in enough quantities.
The polyphenols and caffeine in Green Tea have been shown to increase metabolic rate and boost fat oxidation. A study published in 1995 has demonstrated the potential for the daily intake of 90mg of Green Tea Extract found in MaxiSlim to influence metabolism by approximately 4%. However, some studies have found 300mg of Green Tea extract to be required to exert any real changes in metabolism!
Evidence from clinical trials dating back to 1995 has shown that the capsaicinoids (capsicum extract) found in Cayenne Powder can boost metabolism by increasing resting metabolic rate. Diet pills that contain much higher amounts of capsicum extract (Capsiplex Plus) have reported an increased 12 times more calorie expenditure up to one hour after exercise compared to when they took placebo!
Although the Green Tea in MaxiSlim has been found to exert a marginal effect on metabolism, the remaining ingredients are either in too small quantities or are not considered to be that effective.
Available from a number of UK online retailers and the Health Arena Products website costing from £5.50 ($8) for 12 capsules to £42.99 ($69) for 150 capsules.
The money-back guarantee on offer depends on the retailer, so always check what they offer before buying! There does not appear to be a money-back guarantee offered by the manufacturer.
MaxiSlim may help you to lose weight but without any clinical data to support claims it’s likely that any weight loss is due to health eating and regular exercise. The possible side effects are a concern too!
There is a real lack of information about the manufacturer’s of MaxiSlim as the supplement is sold from 3rd party retailers.
With few if any consumer testimonials available despite being available for some time we have real reservations about the quality and effectiveness of this diet pill. There are other much better diet pills available at comparable prices to MaxiSlim that contain higher amounts of the few ingredients that can work.
For these reasons we reject MaxiSlim diet pills.
Thousands of customers have cut the fat with this fast and powerful thermogenic fat burner. Can suppress appetite, boost energy levels and elevate mood without the jitters.
