With the clinics having some very mixed reviews when it comes to how effective they really are, with many put off by the extraordinarily high prices, we take a look at one of their supplements – the Medi-Weightloss Fat Burner to see if that will give you a helping hand. Let’s take a closer look.
Medi-Weightloss Fat Burner is a twice-a-day supplement which claims to help consumers to lose weight through a thermogenic effect, as well as curb appetite and stabilise blood sugar and insulin levels. It is manufactured by Medi-Weightloss – a franchise chain of weight loss clinics in America and Dubai. It can be used alongside other supplements.
Some side effects of chromium include skin irritation, headaches, dizziness, nausea, mood changes and impaired thinking, judgment, and coordination. High doses have been linked to more serious side effects including blood disorders, liver or kidney damage, and other problems.
Medi-Weightloss Fat Burner costs $28.75 on the official Medi-Weightloss website, with free shipping, and $33.82 on Amazon.
If this product told us the quantities, and they were adequate, this wouldn’t be too bad a supplement. The ingredients are ok and are generally known to be effective. However, for all we know, it could be full of the less effective ones, as the manufacturer has decided not to list the quantities. Judging by the number of reviews on Amazon that say that it didn’t work, we suspect that this is the case.
Whilst Medi-Weightloss loss seems to be a reputable company, there are lots of reviews online expressing disappointment with how well they worked and how expensive they are.
Medi-Weightloss do not offer a money-back guarantee – only unopened bottles can be returned, and you lose 15% of your money as a ‘restocking fee’.
With all of this in mind, we do not recommend Medi-Weightloss Fat Burner to our readers.

Medi-Weightloss Fat Burner is a twice-daily weight loss supplement made in the US by Medi-Weightloss, a chain of clinics owned by Edward Kaloust. It is formulated with a range of ingredients that apparently cause thermogenesis, including Capsimax, a patented form of capsicum, and decaffeinated green tea extract
The product is made by the people behind the Medi-Weightloss clinics, a franchise chain of clinics throughout the USA and Dubai. They were established in 2006 and claim to have helped people lose more than three million pounds. It was founded by Edward Kaloust. Their head office is based in Tampa, Florida. Their email address is listed as [email protected]
Take two capsules once daily, or one tablet twice daily. There is no information as to when the best time of day to take them is.
Medi-Weightloss claim that their Fat Burning supplement will do the following:
There is no way that we can say Medi-Weightloss Fat Burner works, because instead of telling us exactly how much of everything is in there, Medi-Weightloss have hidden it under a proprietary blend. Usually, that is so that they cram it full of the cheaper (and usually less effective) ingredients and put trace amounts of anything that costs slightly more. They get away with it because the customer just sees the names of what is in there.
Chromium can help improve and control blood sugar levels, so it may well do that part of it quite well. Whilst not particularly generous, they have at least listed the amount of that particular ingredient.
We know that green tea extract can help, although it is interesting to see that they have chosen to use a decaf version. This doesn’t matter, as it is still effective thanks to the antioxidants in there, however, it all depends on how much green tea extract is in there. The same goes for all of the other ingredients – they all have some good effects, but is there enough in there to actually work? We don’t know.
Please note that the exact quantities of each ingredient are unknown.
L-Carnitine, in high doses, could bring on digestion problems and cramps. Other side effects can include increased appetite (the opposite of which this product is trying to achieve!), rashes, and a fishy body odour. Capsicum can cause a runny nose and irritation of the stomach.
Not for use by individuals under the age of 18. Consult a physician or healthcare professional before using this product if you have any medical concerns/allergies. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not take more than the recommended dose.

Positive comments include:
Look these aren’t magical products. That being said I took these when I was around 20 and followed the diet they go with and I lost 80 pounds in less than 3 months with no exercise. So the people suggesting that these don’t work are delusional and have no will power. Nothing will do all of the work for you. I went from 310 to 227. That difference is insane. That being said the price and shipping cost is absolutely absurd
Critical comments include:
This product did not work for me. Medi weight loss did not work for me..it may work for others but did not for me.
According to the official Medi-Weightloss website, sealed and unopened products can be returned within 30 days of purchase. However, the customer must also pay a 15% restocking fee, so do not get the full amount that they paid back, and this is more of a returns policy than a money-back guarantee.
You can purchase Medi-Weightloss Fat Burner from the official Medi-Weightloss website for $28.75.
