Medi-Weightloss Fat Burner

Rating
Medi-Weightloss Clinics are weight management clinics that were established back in 2006 by Dr. Edward Kaloust. Located throughout the USA, and offer a customized and medically-supervised approach to weight loss. They also have an online store selling a range of supplements to help customers on their weight loss journey, including the Medi-Weightloss Fat Burner.

With the clinics having some very mixed reviews when it comes to how effective they really are, with many put off by the extraordinarily high prices, we take a look at one of their supplements – the Medi-Weightloss Fat Burner to see if that will give you a helping hand. Let’s take a closer look.

Some side effects of chromium include skin irritation, headaches, dizziness, nausea, mood changes and impaired thinking, judgment, and coordination. High doses have been linked to more serious side effects including blood disorders, liver or kidney damage, and other problems.

How Much Does Medi-Weightloss Fat Burner Cost?

Medi-Weightloss Fat Burner costs $28.75 on the official Medi-Weightloss website, with free shipping, and $33.82 on Amazon.

Our Verdict On Medi-Weightloss Fat Burner

If this product told us the quantities, and they were adequate, this wouldn’t be too bad a supplement. The ingredients are ok and are generally known to be effective. However, for all we know, it could be full of the less effective ones, as the manufacturer has decided not to list the quantities. Judging by the number of reviews on Amazon that say that it didn’t work, we suspect that this is the case.

Whilst Medi-Weightloss loss seems to be a reputable company, there are lots of reviews online expressing disappointment with how well they worked and how expensive they are.

Medi-Weightloss do not offer a money-back guarantee – only unopened bottles can be returned, and you lose 15% of your money as a ‘restocking fee’.

With all of this in mind, we do not recommend Medi-Weightloss Fat Burner to our readers.

Does Medi-Weightloss Fat Burner Work?

There is no way that we can say Medi-Weightloss Fat Burner works, because instead of telling us exactly how much of everything is in there, Medi-Weightloss have hidden it under a proprietary blend. Usually, that is so that they cram it full of the cheaper (and usually less effective) ingredients and put trace amounts of anything that costs slightly more. They get away with it because the customer just sees the names of what is in there.

Chromium can help improve and control blood sugar levels, so it may well do that part of it quite well. Whilst not particularly generous, they have at least listed the amount of that particular ingredient.

We know that green tea extract can help, although it is interesting to see that they have chosen to use a decaf version. This doesn’t matter, as it is still effective thanks to the antioxidants in there, however, it all depends on how much green tea extract is in there. The same goes for all of the other ingredients – they all have some good effects, but is there enough in there to actually work? We don’t know.

What Are The Ingredients of Medi-Weightloss Fat Burner?

Please note that the exact quantities of each ingredient are unknown.

  • Chromium (201 mcg): Chromium is an essential trace mineral. It is taken by mouth for improving blood sugar control in people with prediabetes, type 1 and type 2 diabetes, and high blood sugar due to taking steroids and HIV treatments.

Thermogenic Blend

  • Decaf Green Tea Extract: The fat burning antioxidants in green tea work independently of caffeine, so you don’t need the stimulant to enjoy green teas slimming effects. Drinking 12 cups of decaffeinated green tea daily would burn about as many calories as taking a leisurely 30-minute stroll.
  • Ginger: As a digestive aid, ginger can reduce appetite through its regulatory effects on blood sugar and serum cholesterol. A 2006 article in the “British Journal of Nutrition” cites raw ginger as having a stabilizing effect on blood sugar, cholesterol, and lipids.
  • Gymnema Sylvestre Extract: Early research shows that taking gymnema for 12 weeks can reduce body weight and body mass index in some people who are overweight. Early research also shows that taking a combination of gymnema, hydroxycitric acid, and niacin-bound chromium by mouth can reduce body weight in people who are overweight or obese.
  • Capsimax (Capsicum Extract): This is a patented form of capsicum, the compound that gives cayenne and chilli peppers their heat. It works thermogenically, by raising the core temperature of the body. To cool back down, the body uses more calories and burns more fat, hence helping weight loss.
  • Carnitine (as L-Carnitine Extract): L-Carnitine is an amino acid that all of us need. It is manufactured by the essential amino acids lysine and methionine (Source, Source, Source). L-carnitine helps carry fatty acids into the mitochondria in cells so that they can convert these acids to energy. L-carnitine has been linked to enhanced athletic performance and endurance. So far, studies have not shown it to be capable of doing either, but there is some research indicating that L-carnitine can make sperm more vital and active.
  • Bioperine (Black Pepper Extract): Bioperine is a patented extract obtained from black pepper fruits. This compound may enhance the absorption and therefore the efficacy of other chemical compounds. However, it does not work on everything. Whether it will increase the absorption of the ingredients in this supplement is not known.

Does Medi-Weightloss Fat Burner Have Any Side Effects?

L-Carnitine, in high doses, could bring on digestion problems and cramps. Other side effects can include increased appetite (the opposite of which this product is trying to achieve!), rashes, and a fishy body odour. Capsicum can cause a runny nose and irritation of the stomach.

Caution:
Not for use by individuals under the age of 18. Consult a physician or healthcare professional before using this product if you have any medical concerns/allergies. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not take more than the recommended dose.

Are There Any Customer Reviews For Medi-Weightloss Fat Burner?

On Amazon, there are thirteen reviews, with an average rating of 3.8.

Positive comments include:

Look these aren’t magical products. That being said I took these when I was around 20 and followed the diet they go with and I lost 80 pounds in less than 3 months with no exercise. So the people suggesting that these don’t work are delusional and have no will power. Nothing will do all of the work for you. I went from 310 to 227. That difference is insane. That being said the price and shipping cost is absolutely absurd

Critical comments include:

This product did not work for me. Medi weight loss did not work for me..it may work for others but did not for me.

Does Medi-Weightloss Fat Burner Offer a Money-Back Guarantee?

According to the official Medi-Weightloss website, sealed and unopened products can be returned within 30 days of purchase. However, the customer must also pay a 15% restocking fee, so do not get the full amount that they paid back, and this is more of a returns policy than a money-back guarantee.
