Below we take an in-depth look at Meta Switch, to see if it can really aid weight loss in a revolutionary way, as the manufacturer states.
ALA appears to suppress the appetite, and could also boost fat burning very slightly. The product also contains American Ginseng; this is often thought of as an adaptogen, and it could help to lower blood sugar levels. Other benefits have been documented in preliminary studies in mice and rats, but currently the ingredient has no known links to weight loss.
Meta Switch does contain some ingredients that could potentially cause a range of side effects including diarrhoea, itching, trouble sleeping (insomnia), headache, and nervousness. In some people, American ginseng might also cause rapid heartbeat, increased blood pressure or decreased blood pressure, breast tenderness, vaginal bleeding in women, and other side effects. Uncommon side effects that have been reported include a severe rash called Stevens-Johnson syndrome, liver damage, and severe allergic reaction.
Retail customers pay $89.00 per bottle of Meta Switch.
In general, we dislike the majority of things about this product, especially its manufacturer. The company are incredibly pushy with their supplement and beauty products, displaying all of them on the order page in the hopes of getting additional sales. Their three-tier payment scheme is also something we dislike. At full retail price, the products are incredibly over-priced. Even with the significant discounts offered on their auto ship program, Meta Switch is still an unnecessarily expensive supplement per month, and customers will receive a new bottle every month until they cancel.
Although they state that you can cancel at any time (or any time after three months if on the ‘Loyalty’ program), the official product website does not include any information on how to cancel the auto ship program, or any direct ways to contact the company such as a phone number. They also fail to detail their returns policy, which is definitely an unacceptable practice.
Even their product description is misleading, as they described AMPK as the body’s ‘skinny gene’ when it is actually an enzyme, and has nothing to do with genetics.
Overall, we do not recommend Meta Switch to our readers.
Among the best products we’ve seen in 2016 is one called Phentaslim. Whilst not just containing clinically proven ingredients that have been shown to shift the fat, Phentaslim is very unlikely to give you unwanted side effects.
The makers of Phentaslim are so confident in their product they offer a no-risk 60-day money back guarantee too. To find out why this is our visitors #1 choice in our review here.
Meta Switch are metabolism boosting diet pills that claim to boost the consumer’s AMPK levels. The manufacturers described AMPK as the body’s ‘Skinny Gene’, but really, AMPK is an enzyme that plays a role in appetite.
Meta Switch is manufactured by Max International. The company are based in Utah, and their contact information is available on max.com, their official website. The official Meta Switch website does not provide much information about how to contact the company, but does provide a generic contact box- customers should fill this in, and should be contacted with one of their ‘customer awesomeness ninjas’.
Take two capsules three times daily, 30 minutes before each meal with 12 oz. of water.
Meta Switch pill are available on their own, or as a part of the Meta Switch System, also known as the Fit Kit. The Metaswitch System (Fit Kit) includes 1 bottle of Meta-Switch Metabolic Enhancer Supplement (30 days) and 2 boxes of Curb Slimming Bars (15 bars in each box).
The customer reviews for the supplement reveal that side effects are possible, and some customers have even gained weight whilst using the supplement, as it stimulated their appetite. Customers have to take six capsules per day, which is a huge number to take. As it is spaced over three doses, which need to be taken 30 minutes before each meal, this requires planning, and it seems likely that consumers may forget doses easily.
The manufacturers of Meta Switch provide the following description of their supplement and how it can benefit the consumer:
Switch is a metabolic enhancement pill designed to get your metabolism working the way it was meant to.
It wakes up the switch to the recently discovered AMPK enzyme, so you’re burning more calories throughout the whole day. The wonderful thing is that it does this without raising your heart rate or your blood pressure. And it does this without any stimulants.
Meta Switch Pills Are Designed To Activate Your AMPK Skinny Gene…
AMPK (adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase) is connected to the area of your brain that regulates appetite, hunger and body-weight.
The customer reviews for Meta Switch are mixed; the majority of positive customer reviews are only a few words long, and do not go into any detail about the reviewers’ experiences with the supplement. The negative experiences, on the other hand, are quite detailed. One consumer had what appeared to be an allergic reaction, experiencing numerous unpleasant side effects whilst taking the supplement. Another customer actually gained weight, as the supplement increased his appetite.
The ingredients in general do not seem to be targeted towards weight loss specifically. Only Alpha Lipoic Acid appears to impact upon weight loss, by suppressing the appetite and causing a very mild boost in fat burning- however, even this information is based only upon animal studies, and so the effects may not be the same in humans. If the consumer does not change their eating habits to reflect their suppressed appetite, they will not lose any weight.
We find it unlikely that Meta Switch will significantly aid weight loss.
We have listed the ingredients used in Meta Switch below, describing the supporting research (or lack of it) for each ingredient.

Potassium 7.2 mg (<1% RDA)
Proprietary Blend 661 mg
Meta Switch does contain some ingredients that could potentially cause a range of side effects.
ALA might cause a rash, and can lower blood sugar levels.
Side effects associated with Leucine and other Branched Chain Amino Acids are rare and are usually not serious. They can include nausea, pain and headaches. Leucine can affect blood sugar levels, and so diabetics should consult their doctor before taking this supplement.
American ginseng can cause some side effects including diarrhoea, itching, trouble sleeping (insomnia), headache, and nervousness.

There are some customer reviews for Meta Switch on amazon.
I took this product twice a day for 10 days and had a violent reaction to it, including hives, leg swelling, nausea, achiness, fatigue. I stopped taking it for 14 days, along with all of my other vitamins, thinking it may have been a combination of the other vitamins and supplements causing the reaction. I began taking only the Meta Switch, and had the same reaction again, so I have discontinued it permanently. I am taking all my other vitamins and have had no further problems, so I can only deduce this was the supplement causing the reaction.
With Meta -switch I have not notice anything. Not sure about how this works… don’t waste your money… bad product and too expensive.
My girlfriend purchased Meta-Switch and had no luck with it. She had already ordered another month supply but decided to switch to something else. So she offered it to me. As I write this I’ve been on Meta-Switch for 30 days. Every day I’ve followed the regiment, taking 2-pills 30 minutes prior to each meal and eating one of the Meta-Switch fruit/fiber bars daily. I left my diet and exercise routine the same. I found with this product I craved food more often. I ended up gaining about 8.5 pounds in 4 weeks. Aside from my girlfriend who tried it and had no luck. I know another person who tried it and also gained weight (although not as much as I did). Companies know what’s on the line and they often plant people to write positive reviews. I wouldn’t trust any of them. I don’t believe it does what the manufacturer claims. Because of my own experience I have no choice but to rate it one stay and tell you it’s a horrible product. Look elsewhere.
If you like to pay for your pee to smell funny, then this product is right for you! Don’t waste your money, it doesn’t work. I ordered it directly from max so I used the official product.
Not sure why everyone is bagging this product. I lost 15kgs on it and so far have kept it off. I bought mine direct from the company. Its almost laughable that people expect instant results overnight from many years of bad eating and little or no exercise. Be sensible people…
There are several positive customer reviews that are very short and do not go into any details about the reviewers experience with the product.
‘I have a good experience.’
‘Is a good product, but you still have to workout with a diet.’
The manufacturers do not state on their official website what their returns policy is. This is an incredibly dubious practice. The company can also only be contacted using a generic contact form, meaning that customers will have to wait to be contacted regarding any questions they have or to see if they can cancel their autoship program or get a refund.
From the official Meta Switch website there are three pricing plans available for potential customers, Loyalty, Wholesale and Retail. Each bottle contains a ‘30 day supply of Meta-Switch Metabolic Enhancer Supplement’, or 180 capsules in total.
The manufacturers describe their pricing plans as follows:
Retail: One off product orders at retail price- customers are not signed up to any auto ship programs.
Wholesale: Preferred Customers- Receive generous discounts by choosing a monthly auto ship program. Cancel your auto ship at any time.
Loyalty: Loyal customers- Commit to your fat melting program for 3 months and be rewarded with our lowest available price. Cancel your monthly auto-ship program anytime after the 3 months.
Loyalty customers pay $65.00 per bottle of Meta Switch (a month’s supply), whilst wholesale customers (also known as preferred customers) pay $75.00. Finally retail customers pay $89.00 per bottle of Meta Switch.
Signing up for either the Loyalty program or the wholesale program may seem like an enticing offer, considering the significant discount offered, but customers are going to end up spending much more in the long term. Loyalty customers are going to spend a minimum of $195 before they can cancel the product, or even more if they forget to cancel the auto-ship program, whilst wholesale customers are likely to spend at least $150. A single bottle on its own is also clearly overpriced.
A similar pricing structure exists for the Meta Switch System (Fit Kit) which includes 1 bottle of Meta-Switch Metabolic Enhancer Supplement (30 days) + 2 boxes of Curb Slimming Bars (15 bars in each box).
Loyalty customers pay$170.00 per month, Wholesale customers pay$185.00 per month, and retail customers pay $200.00.
A single bottle of Meta Switch is available from amazon, costing $75.00, with free shipping. The product is also available as a two month supply (two bottles). This costs $140, with free shipping.
Thousands of customers have cut the fat with this fast and powerful thermogenic fat burner. Can suppress appetite, boost energy levels and elevate mood without the jitters.
