Modere is a Utah based company that sells a range of weight loss supplements, plus products for skin care, anti-aging and health, and bizarrely household cleaning products. This all looks ok but the aim of Modere seems to get you to sign up the auto ship, so you can receive bundles of useful products for yourself and the home, all in one basket.
You are also encouraged to sign up to something called The M3 Pledge (UK readers this is nothing to do with travelling from London to the West, although some of us have made a pledge never to do this journey again until the roadworks are sorted out).
Modere Sync is a fibre rich chocolate flavoured powder, that you use to make a drink in order to prevent hunger pangs. It may work as described and if late night snacking is your weakness, you may find that this supplement helps you. However, we have concerns about the M3 Pledge, and the focus of Modere on getting you to sign up to auto-ship which looks as if it will be hard to cancel. Modere Sync is expensive and in our opinion does not offer good value for money.
Potential side effects may include; increased bowel movements, diarrhoea, abdominal discomfort, and bloating.
Modere Sync is expensive, and in our opinion it is overpriced. 1 x tub of 13.8 oz (391 g) costs $54.99. The product information does not tell you how much this small tub will last.
If you want to sign up for Smart Ship the auto-ship program, or take the M3 Pledge you have to sign up with Modere and open an account. Shipping costs are not provided, and it is unknown whether Modere will ship outside the USA but our guess is they won’t.
We are not impressed with Modere Sync. This supplement suffers from a lack of information regarding ingredients, and how long each tub will even last. In addition, we are concerned about the lack of independent feedback and some of the sales practices of the Modere company. We do not trust their auto ship program, and we do not like the way that this company has claimed the benefits of the Mediterranean diet for their own supplements. All round this looks pretty tricksy.
Modere Sync does not look too bad as a supplement. It may help you avoid hunger pangs and work as described. However, there are other ways of doing this such as including more natural fibre into your diet, as well as other supplements on the market.
Finally Modere Sync is very expensive and in our opinion is just not good value for money.
Its ingredients are scientifically proven to aid weight loss and you are covered by a full 60-day money-back guarantee from a trusted company, making Phentatrim a very popular choice in the diet world.
Phentatrim is the best thing to hit the supplement market in a long time, with thousands of customers already seeing the benefits. That’s why it's our editor's top pick.

Modere Sync is a fibre filled powder, that you add to water in order to make a filling and satisfying drink. The advertising describes this as an evening fiber that you take after your evening meal, so that you do not suffer from hunger pangs and eat late in the evening. Night time snacking can be a problem for many people trying to lose weight, so this does look like a good idea. That said we can’t see why you shouldn’t use it at other times.
Modere Sync comes in chocolate flavour and with its low-calorie count, this does look to be a very satisfying and useful addition to a weight loss plan. Ingredients include oat bran, pea fiber, and apple pectin, which are all good sources of fiber that are good for digestion, and have the effect of making you feel fuller after ingestion.
Modere Sync is only available in chocolate flavour, which will suit most people, and you can add the powder to water, for zero added calories, or alternatively low fat milk or vegan alternatives such as almond milk.
You are encouraged to sign up to something called the M3 Pledge. According to the product information, this is a weight loss system of three products built around the Mediterranean lifestyle, and comes with a money-back guarantee if you fail to lose weight.
We are struggling to understand the Mediterranean concept here. Although the Mediterranean diet and lifestyle is generally regarded as one of the healthiest in the world, it doesn’t seem to have much relevance here. After all, where are the olives, the oily fish, the delicious pasta dishes, and the red wine in this Modere program? And if you are already living like this, do you really need to take any additional supplements in order to feel full?
Modere supplements and products are only available direct from the official Modere website. Be warned you are encouraged to sign up for an account, and subscribe to Smart Ship the company’s Auto Ship program.
Auto Ship is an automatic buying system that sends you fresh supplies of products each month, and automatically bills your bank or credit card. These types of agreements are legally binding and can be extremely difficult to cancel. Worryingly we can find no information about the Smart Ship agreement on the Modere terms and conditions page, so we advise caution before you choose this option.
According to the advertising,
“Sync optimizes digestion and lessens late night cravings in one delicious, gluten free shake with a unique blend of plant fibers.”
You are encouraged to take the M3 Pledge, “to get the most out of Sync” and for “ultimate results and savings”
This does not really make sense. How can buying additional supplements save you money?
Modere Sync will probably work as described in as much as a fibre rich drink will probably make you feel fuller for longer, and if night time snacking is your downfall, this supplement drink will probably help you avoid temptation until morning.
The chocolate flavour sounds appealing too, although there is no independent customer feedback to say one way or another. This supplement contains pea fibre, so whether or not this will cause an underlying pea taste is unknown.
However, one thing is sure. There is no evidence that the M3 Pledge will work as described, and it all looks a bit tricksy to us. By calling this program the Mediterranean Diet, the advertisers can make references to the health-giving and weight loss properties of this lifestyle, and claim these as benefits for their supplements. This is stated,
“In a single 2-year study, subjects following a reduced-calorie Mediterranean diet lost an average of 9.7 pounds versus an average of 6.3 pounds for subjects following a reduced-calorie, low-fat diet. Shai I, et al. Weight Loss with a Low-Carbohydrate, Mediterranean, or Low-Fat Diet. The New England Journal of Medicine, 2008.”
It is important to remember that this does not refer to these products.
Modere Sync does not come with very accurate ingredients information, beyond the fact that a serving size is equal to one scoop (13g) of powder, or approximately 2.6 teaspoons.
The nutritional information per serving is as follows;
The ingredients are as follows. Quantities are not disclosed.
Potential side effects may include
Not suitable for individuals under 18. Avoid if you are pregnant or breast feeding. Speak to your doctor before use if you have an underlying medical condition, or are taking prescription medication.
Because Modere supplements are only sold via the official Modere website, we cannot guarantee that all feedback comments are genuine or that any adverse opinions have not been filtered out.
Reviews are all positive and along the lines of;
Love the flavour. It really helps my late night cravings
Love it, tastes like chocolate pudding
Great tasting and keeps me regular. It is definitely a key ingredient to M3
As a side issue, there have been health concerns raised over the M3 Pledge and some of the ingredients used in the Fat Burner part of the program. However, these do not refer to Modere Sync, which looks to be a pretty safe part of the 3 product system.
There is no money-back guarantee on offer with Modere Sync.
If you sign up to the M3 Pledge there is an advertised guarantee on offer, but you will probably have to jump through hoops in order to claim it and prove somehow that you have made changes to your diet and lifestyle. There are no details about this guarantee in the terms and conditions, which is not encouraging. So good luck with that one!
Modere Sync is only on sale via the official Modere website.
