MySlim is on sale via Lazada in the Philippines. Lazada is a shopping platform operating in South East Asia, and according to the company information the number one online shopping and selling destination in Indonesia. To customers outside this geographic area, Lazada seems to be a cross between Amazon and eBay, but unlike eBay does not deal in second hand and collectable items. Many supplement companies across South East Asia seem to use Lazada as their sole marketplace.
MySlim is a supplements brand which is popular in the Philippines and sold via the Lazada website. There appear to be 3 different products and although they all seem to contain roughly the same ingredients such as garcinia cambogia, yerba mate, and green tea, there does not appear to be any accurate information for the customer such as quantities and strength.
That said most of the components of the various MySlim products are in themselves branded supplements such as GarCitrin, a well known garcinia cambogia supplement. MySlim looks OK but the lack of comprehensive product information is of concern.
Side effects may include; headaches, nausea, gastrointestinal discomfort, jitteriness, anxiety, insomnia.
Some customers have mentioned some of these side effects.
MySlim doesn’t seem to be expensive for most people.
One of the most popular products in the range is the slimming drink Yerba Mate Slimming Drink Strawberry flavour. This comes ready mixed in 1 x 200ml bottle and costs 89PHP ($1.73).
The MySlim Fat Burner Capsule comes in packs of 60. One pack (one month’s supply) costs 1,150 PHP ($22.35).
1 x 30 capsule tub of MySlim Natural Fat Burner Complex costs 899PHP ($17.50).
You can also buy product bundles such as group buys of individual products such as; 3 x bottles of Yerba Mate Slimming Drink for 759 PHP ($14.74). You can also buy mixed products such as the MySlim drink combined with 1 x pack of 30 capsules of MySlim Fat Burner Complex for 540PHP ($10.50).
The MySlim brand looks OK. We like that there is a choice of supplements, and you may find that the Yerba Mate Slimming Drink is a pleasant alternative to other soft drinks on the market that may provide some support to weight loss. We also like that the capsules MySlim Fat Burner and MySlim Natural Fat Burner Complex contained trademarked ingredients such as GarCitrin so should be pretty safe.
Less impressive is the lack of ingredients information. You really have no idea just how strong the various products are so side effects could be an issue. In addition you have no guarantees that ingredients are in sufficient quantities to work.
If you are based in the Philippines, you may feel that the MySlim brand may be worth a try. However, there are a lot of unanswered questions about these supplements, and in our opinion if you are not already in the Philippines it is certainly not worth the hassle of buying.

MySlim is a brand that seems to be on solely in the Philippines via the online shopping site Lazada. There is a choice of products including bundles of products so at first glance it looks as if there is plenty on offer, although it is quite confusing to work out which supplements are which because they all look similar and are similarly named.
Products include a choice of fat burner capsules, such as MySlim Natural Fat Burner Complex, and MySlim Dietary Capsules and there is a also a weight loss drink called MySlim Yerba Mate Slimming Fat Burner.
The supplements feature some well known weight loss ingredients. All these are trademarked products available only to the supplements industry.
There is Yerba Mate (Finomate) a plant extract used as a tea in its native South America. Yerba Mate contains caffeine so has a stimulant effect but it is also high in vitamins and other nutrients. Some evidence suggests it can improve leptin function – the hormone that signals hunger, so it may help reduce snacking.
Another important ingredient is Garcinia Cambogia, (GarCitrin), a fruit extract which derives from Asia and is high in hydroxycitric acid (HCA). This is touted for weight loss because it is believed to act as a natural carb blocker, helping weight loss and it may have an effect upon mood and serotonin levels too. GarCitrin is made by Sabinsa, a US based company.
Other ingredients which feature strongly in MySlim supplements include green tea extract, believed to help weight loss and general health because of its high content of antioxidants.
There is amino acid l carnitine, which may help the body regulate energy and be generally good for weight loss and muscle building. This is as Carnipure® a Swiss L carnitine supplement.
Although MySlim advertising mentions these active ingredients and makes all the usual promises of weight loss and becoming toned, thin and beautiful, there is very little real information about the various supplements and the differences between them.
MySlim is on sale via Lazada an online South Asian shopping platform that is very popular in the Philippines. Although this is a reputable company it is important to remember that like Amazon, Lazada has nothing to do with manufacture or the companies that use it to market their products.
We have covered Philippines based supplements such as Burn Slim and Luxxe Slim before, and found that both these companies also advertised on Facebook.
One of the most popular MySlim supplements is Yerba Mate Slimming Drink which comes in strawberry flavour.
According to the product advertising,
“The MySlim Slimming Drink gives you twice the fat burning power with the help of two special ingredients. Containing Yerba Mate and high-grade L-carnitine, this refreshing drink impressively balances your sugar levels.”
“This means that your energy can be up to par without needing to consume more than what you need to consume for the day. And because it’s sugar-free, you won’t have to worry about consuming unnecessary calories.”
This all sounds great of course but there is no real evidence that this supplement will work as described.
MySlim Natural Fat Burner is also a popular MySlim supplement. This is in capsule form and according to the advertising, it helps diminish appetite. There is very little real information about what it contains,
“When any fatty substance is consumed, there should be a mechanism to break the fat and not allow it to be deposited inside the body system.”
So far, so good but the product information continues,
“The fat burner capsules, which contain ingredients like green tea extracts and a couple of vitamins and other substances, go to work in ensuring that the metabolism takes all corrective steps to break and burn the fat.”
This is no way detailed enough. “A couple of vitamins…..other substances…” it would have been more useful to customers had this other substances and vitamins been named and the ingredient quantities disclosed. This lack of information is just not good enough for a reputable supplements company.
There is no real evidence that any of the MySlim supplements will really help the customer lose weight and with such bad product information it is hard to see just what any of these supplements will do.
The most popular product (judging by the amount of customer reviews on Lazada) is the Yerba Mate Slimming drink and customer opinion seems to be lukewarm at most, with a high percentage of reviewers saying it just does not work.
We can’t see the MySlim supplement range doing much for your weight loss.
We cannot provide full ingredients information for any of the supplements because this information is not available to the customer.
However we have provided a general overview of some of the ingredients mentioned in the MySlim advertising.
These three ingredients are present in the Yerba Mate Slimming Drink;
Another popular supplement is the MySlim Natural Fat Burner Capsules.
MySlim Dietary Supplement contains:
The MySlim product range is made with reputable ingredients available only to the supplements industry so should be safe for most people. However, without any clear information regarding quantities it is hard to assess the risk of side effects or any effects at all.
Potential side effects are likely to include such issues as
If you are sensitive to caffeine and stimulants you may find that yerba mate causes
Not suitable for individuals under 18. Avoid if you are pregnant or breast feeding. Speak to your doctor first if you are taking prescription medication or suffer from an underlying health condition.
The MySlim brand seems to be fairly well known in the Philippines and many of the products come with feedback.
Here is what one lady said about the Natural Fat Burner Complex. She made some good points but said that it increased thirst and bathroom visits,
I think the effectively of this product will still depend on the lifestyle of the person taking it.
For me the effect is that I don’t feels hungry at all but most o the time I get very thirsty. There are time that I get headaches after taking this. I think I’ll stick with MySlim drink because it has less side effects for me. Also, I only have to take twice a week because a few moments after drinking it the effect is that you have to go to the restroom
Another lady liked it,
I am actually happy with the results.
Not effective for me… no changes in my weight even with diet and exercise
l took this together with my regular exercise routine and l lost 2 lbs. in two days. At this phase, l think l will lessen my intake to once a day.
There does not seem to be a money back guarantee with MySlim supplements.…
MySlim supplements only seem to be available in the Philippines. You can buy the complete range via the Lazada website.
