NatureWise Thermo Blend is a weight loss aid that increases the metabolism, promotes fat burning, boosts energy levels. However, it contains some ingredients that could cause side effects. Below, we take an in-depth look at NatureWise Thermo Blend to see how effective it is at aiding weight loss and increasing the consumer’s metabolism.
Below we take an in-depth look at NatureWise Thermo Blend to see how effective it is at aiding weight loss and increasing the consumer’s metabolism.
NatureWise Thermo Blend is a weight loss aid that increases the metabolism, promotes fat burning, boosts energy levels. One ingredient used in Thermo Blend, Hoodia Gordonii, is thought by some to work as an appetite suppressant, but there is no strong clinical evidence to support this.
NatureWise Thermo Blend is manufactured by an American company, NatureWise, who are based in Oregon. The company lists a website on the Thermo Blend bottle, but it appears that it is no longer active, instead diverting to a British company of the same name that do not manufacture Thermo Blend.
The company can be contacted through Amazon.
Adults take 2 capsules once daily or as recommended by your healthcare provider.
The manufacturers of NatureWise Thermo Blend make the following statements about how it works to aid weight loss:
NatureWise Thermo Blend is formulated to increase metabolism and energy, promote fat burning, and support weight loss. Thermogenesis is the process of converting calories to heat through metabolic stimulation. When metabolic rates rise, heat is generated, increasing energy to promote the breakdown of fat cells. Naturally occurring caffeine and synephrine catalyze thermogenesis and boost energy, without added caffeine anhydrous.* Use may enhance exercise performance.
There are nearly 1000 customer reviews for NatureWise Thermo Blend on Amazon, the majority of which are positive, but looking through them it is clear that many have been left by people who have received a free bottle in exchange for leaving a review. Usually, customers are asked to leave an objective review, complete with a disclaimer that it is objective and given in exchange for a discounted or free bottle, but we do not think that this is the case here. One customer even states ‘they even sent us a free bottle just for reviewing how much we loved their product’. This may explain the huge number of positive and five-star reviews that have been left by customers.
Looking at the ingredients list, there is a mixture of effective and ineffective weight loss aids used in NatureWise Thermo Blend. Bitter orange, caffeine, and green tea all have clear clinical support showing that they increase calorie burn in the body, either by increasing thermogenesis, or by directly stimulating the central nervous system and so increasing the metabolism.
However, some of the other ingredients have less clinical support; the two ingredients that are often promoted as appetite suppressants, tyrosine, and Hoodia gordonii, actually have very little clinical evidence to support this. Theobromine and carnitine have some clinical support, but the quantities used are too small to have any impact on weight loss. Overall, consumers can expect to lose some weight, but they will predominantly notice an increase in energy levels.

Below we go through each of the ingredients used in NatureWise Thermo Blend to see if and how they work to aid weight loss. The ingredient quantities provided are per two capsule serving.
Bitter orange extract and synephrine have been associated with a wide variety of side effects, as listed below, which could prevent some groups of people from taking this diet pill. However, they have also been clinically proven to aid weight loss by increasing the metabolism of the consumer.
Green tea also has a lot of supporting evidence to suggest that it could aid a small amount of weight loss; One study found that participants who drank beverages high in catechins extracted from green tea (690 mg/d) lost significantly more weight and body fat than those who drank beverages low in catechins (22 mg/d). Caffeine is not listed as an ingredient but is found naturally in both guarana and green tea. It could mildly increase the metabolism. The theobromine found in cocoa is also a stimulant, but its effects are even milder than caffeine, and the dosage used in this diet pill is tiny; overall, theobromine is unlikely to have any effect upon weight loss here.
The Mayo Clinic has noted that The Federal Trade Commission has warned some diet pill companies not to make claims about the Hoodia Gordonii and its supposed attribute of appetite suppression. This is because there is a lack of conclusive clinical evidence to support these claims. One clinical trial, published by Unilever, actually found no positive benefits, no signs of weight loss or decreased appetite, and noted that participants experienced a variety of side effects. The study used 1100 mg of Hoodia per day, mixed into yoghurt, with the placebo group eating yoghurt that had no added ingredients.
Generally, there is a lack of conclusive evidence suggesting that Hoodia suppresses the appetite in humans, and an increasing body of evidence to suggest that Hoodia does not aid weight loss at all.
Side effects associated with the use of Bitter Orange extracts include increased heart rate and increased blood pressure, heart palpitations, fainting, and even heart attack and stroke in healthy patients. The Mayo Clinic has recommended avoiding the use of Bitter Orange extracts because, in their opinion, the risk of using the product is not worth the pay-off of any potential weight loss. The effects of synephrine and other bitter orange extracts are enhanced when combined with caffeine. Although caffeine is not a listed ingredient on the ingredients list, both green tea and guarana contain naturally occurring caffeine. Caffeine consumption can lead to headaches, increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, heart palpitations, increased urination, dehydration, jitteriness, dizziness, and insomnia.
Eleuthero can cause drowsiness, changes in heart rhythm, sadness, anxiety, and muscle spasms, although these all seem to be rare.
In one study into Hoodia Gordonii (which found that it did not suppress the appetite at all), participants reported a high number of side effects, which included headaches, nausea, vomiting, ‘odd skin sensations’, increased blood pressure, and increases in heart rate. There were also signs of liver damage in some of the participants. Of the 49 women in the trial, 25 took Hoodia whilst the remaining 24 participants took a placebo; these Hoodia taking participants reported 208 incidences of side effects over the course of the 15-day trial, suggesting that side effects are incredibly common.
Caution: Not suitable for anyone who is pregnant, breastfeeding. Not suitable for anyone who is taking any medications. Not suitable for anyone who is sensitive to caffeine. Not suitable for anyone who has liver damage. Discontinue use and consult your doctor if any adverse reactions occur. Not intended for use by persons under the age of 18. Keep out of reach of children. Consult your doctor if you are unsure about the suitability of this diet pill for you before purchase.
The majority of the customer reviews for this product are positive, but there are some customers who were dissatisfied with the product, as they felt no results at all. The company has given out discounts and free
Zero effects, neither positive or negative. I might as well have been taking a placebo.
This practice of giving free product for a product review should be stopped. I’m getting to where I don’t know what to believe on Amazon any more. I wrote a critical one star of this product yesterday, and somehow it vanished. I tired these 2 a day for 3 weeks and noticed absolutely no difference. I think it is human nature to avoid being critical when you are given something for free. This whole process is a scam and ruins the objectivity of the rating system.
I have been using NatureWise’s Thermo Blend Advanced Thermogenic dietary supplement for about one month now and the most obvious benefit thus far is the tremendous increase in energy AND I now sleep a lot better at nights. The promised weight gain is not as dramatic as yet – only a few pounds. It should be noted that I decided to take a cautious approach and start out with only 2 pills per day (morning/afternoon). However, I intend to increase that daily amount in the coming days and continue to monitor myself for changes, etc.
We love this product! Never have a crash and the energy levels are smooth. The main reason my boyfriend and I were attracted to this product is because of the natural ingredients. Trust us people this stuff is AWESOME! Plus, they even sent us a free bottle just for reviewing how much we loved their product.
I have been trying to lose weight for a while now and felt like I hit a plateau so I started researching fat burners as it had been many years since I have used one and then I came across the naturewise products and in particular Thermo Blend and CLA. I was extremely impressed by all of the positive reviews as well as how many people actually purchased the product but was still a little skeptical because the Blend did not contain any caffeine. I went ahead and ordered a bottle of each. I have been taking it for just over two weeks now and truly do love it. My energy level has been through the roof since starting this supplement and the other HUGE positive is that it has had ZERO effect on my stomach nor have I felt any negative side effects. Often with Fat burners you get that jittery feeling and/or the rock in your stomach feel – I have had NONE of that. On the 3rd day of staring which happened to be a Saturday I went to the park early that morning to get my normal 2 miles in but ended up doing 5.5 and getting my 10k steps in before 8am. I was blown away by the amount of energy I had and later that day I did some strength training and again pushed the envelope way farther than I have in a while and loved it. I take the Thermo blend along with the CLA 1250 and seriously have nothing but good things to say about it. I have lost about 5lbs since starting but even more I can see my stomach and waist shrinking and re-sculpting. I literally feel like my fat is burning away somehow. Thus far I am very impressed with the company.
There is no money-back guarantee for this product.
NatureWise Thermo Blend can be purchased in two sizes, bottles of 120 capsules and bottles of 240 capsules. From Amazon, a bottle of 120 capsules (at the time of writing) costs $28.80 whilst a bottle of 240 capsules $99.99. Delivery is free on orders over $35.00.
As a daily serving of NatureWise Thermo Blend is two capsules, the smaller bottle of 120 capsules will last for 60 days, and the larger bottle will last for 120 days, if used as directed.
The smaller bottle offers much better value for money, although it was on sale at the time of writing, and prices could change.
Overall, we have mixed feelings about NatureWise Thermo Blend. We suspect that many of the customer reviews have been provided in exchange for a free bottle of the product, and this may have altered the accuracy of the feedback. For example, there are five-star reviews that mention little weight loss, even after using the product for a prolonged period of time.
The company does not offer a money-back guarantee, and it is difficult to find any detailed information about the manufacturer, as their website is not available.
The product is relatively cheap when purchasing the smaller bottle which provides a two month supply, but the larger bottle does not offer good value for money, working out as far more expensive per dose.
The ingredients list is a mix of ingredients that could aid weight loss and some ingredients that have no clinical support. What also concerns us is that there is a long list of potential side effects that individual ingredients used in NatureWise Thermo Blend could cause. Bitter orange has a long list of unpleasant potential side effects, but is an effective metabolism booster. Hoodia Gordonii, on the other hand, appears to cause side effects regularly but has no clinical evidence to justify its use or its inclusion in this diet pill.
Overall, we do not recommend NatureWise Thermo Blend to our readers.
