    Agree with Terra. You have to look at the context of taking supplements. I remember in the 80s blending tuna with raw eggs, or mixing egg white powder with skimmed milk. It didn’t matter about the disgusting taste – those grams of protein needed to be in at certain times pre and post recovery and that’s it. Diet whey’s prime importance is the green tea, CLA and L-glutamine, to preserve muscle and cut-in (lose fat) whilst training hard. This is a morning supplement for me, because of the stimulants, and switching to a blended whey and casein protein for the recovery or evening. I don’t think this was ever intended as a meal replacement, and when you’re training, you need meals!

    This is a first for me. I’ve never used protein powders.
    I’m not looking to loose weight but to gain a bit more muscle. I’m adding this to my diet rather than taking it as a meal replacement.
    My diet is very healthy and includes the right carbs,proteins etc but Im quite a small adult 7st 7lb at 5ft 2. I tried this powder to add more protein into my diet as I can’t eat anymore than I do already as I eat 3 balanced meals and 3 balanced snacks throughout the day.
    My stomach has felt windy and slightly bloated but I’m going to persevere with the powder as I was wondering whether with my balanced diet maybe I am eating a lot.
    I go to the gym 3 times a week for around an hour and a quarter and I swim twice a week for 45mins to an hour.
    I purchased the Belgian chocolate flavour and I’ve had no problem with the taste. I’ve mixed it with water and to me it is very filling. I’ve added the mix to Greek yoghurt and will also try making protein flapjacks etc with the dry powder.
    Like I’ve said this is the first time I’ve ever tried a protein powder and I’m not using it as a diet supplement more of a addition to an already balanced healthy diet.

    I think this is a bit unfair this product is “Diet” because they have limited the added sugar and added products to encourage cutting (lean muscle mass and low body fat). This is not a general diet product, more a product for weight training for those not wanting to add too many calories to their regime, and for that this is ideal and a very good product. I don’t think this was ever intended as an alternative to slim fast.

      Also as an additional I would agree that this is not the best tasting supplement, but if you are serious about training taste is not the be all and end all of a product. This is my goto supplement the benefits definitely outweigh the taste issues. Still I can see it wouldn’t be to everyones taste.
