Princeton Nutrients is a US supplements company located in California. The company provide full contact details, but there have been a few complaints in the past about the advertised money-back guarantee.
Princeton Nutrients NovaLite is a probiotic/digestive enzyme supplement with a couple of additional weight loss ingredients. It is available solely from the official website so it is impossible to find out about customers who have actually taken this supplement and whether or not it was effective. However, with zero evidence that probiotics will lead to weight loss, it seems unlikely to work in the way as described. You are encouraged to bulk buy – the default setting on the payment page is 6 bottles which is of concern. Princeton Nutrients do offer a 90-day money-back guarantee but do have a history of failing to live up to the money back promise.
Although the supplement looks reasonably safe, you should not take probiotics if your immune system is weakened because introducing even good bacteria into your body could lead to infection.
In addition, probiotics can cause mild digestive issues including bloating, gas, diarrhoea, and constipation.
Digestive enzyme supplements can cause similar side effects to probiotics as well as headaches, rash, abdominal cramps, and mild allergic reaction.
Some people who take larger quantities of Caralluma Fimbriata have mentioned that it can cause diarrhoea and stomach pain. However, serving size here is low so it may not have this effect.
NovaLite is expensive. The default setting on the Princeton Nutrients website is for 6 x bottles (6 month’s supply) which costs $240.00 including free shipping. According to the product information, this is a discounted price in place of a whopping $594! We don’t believe in this inflated price and feel it is only mentioned in order to make $240.00 seem cheaper.
3 x bottles of NovaLite costs $129.00 including shipping.
1 x bottle of NovaLite costs $49.00 plus $6.95 shipping.
We are not impressed by NovaLite. This is a pretty indifferent looking supplement that is unlikely to help support weight loss as described, and despite the claims that Princeton Nutrients has a trained doctor on board, we can’t think of a good reason to take it. Probiotics and digestive enzymes may improve some health conditions especially relating to the digestion, but there’s no real evidence that they will cause or help weight loss. The two weight loss ingredients; green tea and Caralluma Fimbriata can be effective but are here in very low quantities.
We have concerns that Princeton Nutrients have chosen to sell this supplement solely from the official website, and are encouraging customers to buy this supplement in bulk. The company did have issues with customer complaints regarding the guarantee, so you could find that getting a refund on 6 bottles may be harder than it appears. In addition, selling in this way means that there is no place for any genuine customer feedback.
Overall we don’t think that this supplement is really worth buying, so we do not recommend Princeton Nutrients NovaLite to the Watchdog readers.

NovaLite is described as a probiotic weight management supplement. Each capsule contains a probiotic blend adding up to 4 million CFU, and including well known probiotic strains based on Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium.
Probiotics, often called good bacteria, are the bacteria that inhabit the body, principally in the gut and the digestive system. It is estimated that all of us have between 500 and 1000 different strains of bacteria living in the gut alone, and our bodies contain trillions of these tiny lifeforms. Probiotics help to keep the body working and can protect against bad bacteria (pathogens) that can lead onto diseases and illness.
Taking probiotic in foods such as milk-derived products such as yoghurt or fermented food is becoming popular as a health treatment, but supplements may help too. Probiotics are becoming very mainstream and even health authorities are beginning to see their use, but it is important to remember that research still has a long way to go before we fully understand their role and how to use them.
As well as the probiotic strains, NovaLite contains a digestive enzyme formula, plus green tea extract and a branded cactus extract called Slimaluma based on Caralluma Fimbriata. Check out the ingredients tab to find out more.
Princeton Nutrients is a US company based in California. The company sell a range of health products, using a team of researchers & backed by scientific studies. Princeton Nutrients advertises the uses of Dr. Bereliani, a cardiologist who is part of the Princeton Nutrients team.
Princeton Nutrients was founded in 2016. The company did attract many customer complaints initially over the company’s failure to honour the money-back guarantee. However, according to the Better Business Bureau, there have been no customer complaints in the last 12 months. Source
According to the product advertising, NovaLite is a,
“Combination of digestive enzymes, probiotics, mood enhancer/cravings suppressant, and metabolism booster to help you manage your weight effectively.”
According to the product information, NovaLite is safe and suitable for everyone,
“NovaLite has no known side effects and is made up of pure ingredients. They only help your system, and are gluten-free, allergen-free capsules, so you can take them no matter what your diet restrictions may be.”
There is some information about how long the supplement will take to work,
“Everyone’s digestive system is a bit different, however, I feel you should give NovaLite at least 30 days to fully get to work, and some users really start to see results after 60 days. I guarantee, if you are taking the recommended serving of 3 capsules on a daily basis, exercising regularly, and not overeating carbs and sweets, you will start seeing results within the first 1-2 months.”
The guarantee that caused the customer complaints is still advertised,
“Either way, if you aren’t satisfied with your results within 90 days, simply contact our US-based customer support team and we’ll return your money, guaranteed.”
It is hard to say exactly what you could expect from this supplement. Probiotics can help with digestive issues, so if you do suffer from constipation or heartburn, for example, you may find the supplement will help but there are no guarantees. The research into probiotics is still in early stages and with everyone’s probiotic composition individual and running into trillions of organisms and hundreds of different strains, a probiotic supplement will affect individuals in different ways.
The digestive enzymes may further help digestion but it is hard to see how any of this will lead to weight loss. Green tea which can help weight loss by increasing the metabolism is in low amounts and without additional caffeine, may not be effective.
Caralluma Slimaluma may help reduce appetite by making you feel fuller but again quantities are so low here, this part of the supplement looks ineffective. We actually approved a Caralluma Fimbriata supplement in a previous review which delivered 1000mg per serving.
Serving size is equal to one capsule.
Probiotic blend (4 million CFU):
Lactobacillus blend. This comprises of:
Digestive Enzyme Blend (43mg): Digestive enzymes break down the nutrients in food so that that can be used or stored by the body.
Weight Management Blend (100mg):
Craving Control Blend (166mg):
Princeton Nutrients NovaLite is only on sale via the official website and without a platform for customer feedback, it is impossible to find any real-life experiences of taking this supplement.
Probiotics can cause mild digestive issues including:

Some people who take larger quantities of Caralluma Fimbriata have mentioned that it can cause diarrhoea and stomach pain.
Not suitable for individuals under 18. Avoid if you are pregnant or breast feeding. Speak to your doctor before use if you suffer from an underlying medical condition or are taking prescription medication. Avoid use if your immune system is weakened because probiotics may introduce infection into the body.
No. There are no customer reviews for NovaLite.
There is a 90-day money-back guarantee on offer. Here’s what the company says about it:
“Our 90-day satisfaction guarantee ensures that you have plenty of time to try our product and determine for yourself that it’s worth at least several times what you paid for it. If you are not happy with your product, for whatever reason, you’re covered by our 100% money-back guarantee (less shipping & handling) for 90 days.
For returns call 1-866-427-3019 and we’ll issue your refund immediately. No-questions asked.”
There were some problems with this guarantee and Princeton Nutrients received 19 complaints from customers who had struggled to obtain a refund. However, we can find no record of any customer complaints within the last 12 months so it seems that the company may now have sorted out these issues.
You can only buy NovaLite directly from the Princeton Nutrients website. Princeton Nutrients only operate within the USA, so this supplement is not available to international customers
