We take an in depth look at Pro Supps Vanish to find out more.
Pro Supps Vanish is a complicated looking weight loss supplement!
It contains numerous ingredients, most in very small quantities which gives the impression that the designers have gone down the pick and mix aisle in the supplement shop ( if such a thing existed) and chosen a little of this and a bit of that then added it all together.
The problem is that most ingredients, even safe ones, can cause problems for some people, so the more ingredients, the greater the risk of side effects and even small amounts of a substance can cause potentially dangerous side effects.
The ingredient, which is of most concern, is Aegeline, which is supposed to reduce blood sugar levels. This synthetically made ingredient, sometimes touted as a natural tree extract has been linked to causing liver damage.
It was identified as the harmful ingredient in Oxy Elite Pro in 2013 and led to 50 reported cases of liver damage including transplants and at least one death.
The FDA have attempted to clamp down and ban supplements containing Aegeline and say the ingredient “lacks evidence of safety.”
Confusingly, this ingredient does not appear in the ingredients information posted on the Pro Supps website, so it seems that the company have now cut this ingredient from the formula.
However, this is a new development. The old version of Pro Supps Vanish is still widely available and still on sale from the Vitamin Shoppe and plenty of other major outlets.
Not all the ingredients in Pro Supp Vanish are dangerous. The supplement contains N Acetyl Tyrosine known to help boost mental performance. It contains relatively low levels of caffeine from various sources including the branded supplement Infinity DiCaffeine Malate which is a blend of caffeine and malic acid.
It contains green tea too which is not only good for health, it can help increase the speed of the metabolism. When combined with added caffeine research suggests results are improved and this is a popular combination in many diet pills.
Other dangerous ingredients in Pro Supps Vanish include powerful stimulant Yohimbine, from two sources as well as the stimulant Hordenine, and now listed in the new product information the patented stimulant Advantra Z.
Most of the remaining ingredients are believed to have a “nootropic” effect i.e. improve mental performance. These include Pikatropin, Huperzine A and Sulbutiamine.
Other ingredients include Evodiamine believed to have a thermogenic effect but lacking in evidence and Vinpocetine a chemical that may improve blood flow to the brain. All of these ingredients come with health concerns.
Pro Supps is an American supplements company that have past form in selling supplements with dangerous ingredients.
One of these is Pro Supps DNPX, which was withdrawn because it contained ephedra, and DMAA. Although it was reformulated to stay on the side of legal, it still comes with many health concerns. We covered this dangerous looking supplement in a previous review.
We have also covered Pro Supps Vexxum a strong stimulant based fat burner with a long list of potential side effects.

According to the Pro Supps product information,
“Vanish is the most effective, innovative and COMPLETE fat burner we’ve ever developed!”
(Although there have been some changes to this product’s ingredient profile, the advertising has not changed at all)
“Vanish utilizes (3) matrix blends of ingredients to effectively target fat while providing you with the clean energy and mental focus you need.”
All the ingredients are arranged into one of these categories.
There are no real explanations about the how various ingredients will cause any of these effects. There are no links to any clinical evidence to back up these claims.
Pro Supps Vanish is a fat burner, which has recently undergone changes to the formula. However, both versions remain on sale and the packaging is identical, making it very confusing for customers.
We will do our best to provide a general overview but consumer will need to read the product label very carefully before use, in case of discrepancies. Amount quantities may vary.
Serving size is equal to one capsule.

Pro Supps Vanish is a dangerous looking supplement even without Aegeline. Even though the individual ingredient quantities are low, we are concerned that this cocktail of ingredients may cause side effects. Has this formula even been tested? We doubt that it has. It may not work as described and it may cause side effects.
The more ingredients you include in a supplement, the greater the risk of side effects and interactions. In addition, many of the ingredients have been untested on humans and come with little or no evidence that they will work.
Side effects are likely to be a problem for some people.

There are some customer reviews posted on the Vitamin Shoppe website however, we cannot guarantee that these are genuine.
There is a lot of positive feedback.
“Vanish gives me an endless source of energy, without all the negative jitters” is a typical positive comment.
Not everyone is as satisfied.
“This product does nothing for me. I didn’t even lose 1 pound.” However, this customer went on to mention that she got her money back.
Not all the comments make sense”
I’ve been taking this product for two months and really see results. I am caffeine sensitive and this product makes me feel great and I have the perfect amount of energy
So this is despite the clear product warning about caffeine! We are not completely convinced that all these so called customer reviews are genuine.
There are a couple of reviews on Amazon. Both are clear and to the point.
One customer said, “Does not work.”
The other customer reported, “LOVED IT !”
We don’t think that either version of Pro Supps Vanish is going to work very well. There are too many ingredients in too small quantities. Green tea for example – present here at just 50mg, is a safe ingredient but in too insignificant quantities to do much and many of the ingredients contain as little as 1 mg per serving. Some of these are dangerous but even so, we would be very wary of taking them.
Aegeline is dangerous and proven to cause liver failure. Advantra Z is a stimulant that can cause heart attacks and strokes. Because the quantities are low, does this mean they are safe?
The bottom line is that we just don’t know. And it appears that nobody else knows either.
You cannot buy Pro Supps Vanish in the shops or stores. It is available online.
You can buy the original version of the supplement (the one containing the dangerous ingredient Aegeline) from the Vitamin Shoppe.
1 container of 90 capsules (45 days supply) costs $47.99. Shipping is free to US addresses.
The new version of Pro Supps Vanish is also available from the Pro Supps website.
1 container of 90 capsules costs $69.99 plus shipping calculated at the point of sale.
You can also buy Pro Supps Vanish via Amazon. It doesn’t come with an ingredients list so we cannot tell which version of the supplement is on sale.
1 container of 90 capsules (45 capsules) costs $29.45 and is available from various sellers.
Pro Supps Vanish does not appear to be available to customers outside the USA.
Pro Supps Vanish does not come with a guarantee.
We are very unimpressed with Pro Supps Vanish. This supplement is still on sale containing the very dangerous ingredient Aegeline. Pro Supps then changed the formula without any explanation and replaced it with another dangerous ingredient Advantra Z.
There are too many ingredients in this supplement and no proof that either combination will really help you lose weight. Side effects are likely to be a problem too. Even in small quantities, a substance can be dangerous and the bottom line is that nobody really knows just what this supplement may do.
In addition, Pro Supps Vanish can be expensive unless you buy from Amazon and in our opinion is just a waste of money. Despite the Amazon low price there is very little customer feedback so this supplement is obviously not very popular.
We just do not like this supplement. We don’t trust the various ingredients list and we don’t much trust Pro Supps either.
The company should have recalled the products containing Aegeline – not just replaced the formula without explanation or warning.
It s an easy decision. We reject Pro Supps Vanish.
