Rapid Tone Overview

What You Need To Know About Rapid Tone

Rapid Tone is a shockingly bad supplement that seems to have sprung up all over the internet from various sources all claiming to be genuine. This supplement was not featured on Shark Tank, it will not work as a carb blocker/appetite suppressant/fat burner and in our opinion, the only thing this supplement will help you lose is your money!

This supplement lacks ingredients information – we are not even sure just what it contains and the advertising uses some dodgy looking science and nonsensical claims in order to attract sales. A sales campaign has involved some of the people behind this supplement writing on web forums such as Quora and Reddit saying how good this supplement is, but don’t be fooled into believing them. It is impossible that Rapid Tone will work in the way as described.

Each bottle of Rapid Tone contains 60 capsules. This is a month’s supply, but there are no directions provided about how to take it. In addition, it is very expensive and if you are dissatisfied, as you will be, you have no chance at all of getting your money back despite the advertised guarantee.

What Are The Side Effects Of Rapid Tone?

We can only look at the named ingredients and without knowing the true ingredients profile, it is impossible to know just what this supplement will do.

However judging by the named ingredients, it may cause side effects such as abdominal cramps, diarrhoea, gas, nausea, vomiting, changes to blood pressure, insomnia, headaches, fishy body odour (l carnitine), and dizziness.

If you do experience side effects, cease use and contact your physician if necessary.

How Much Does Rapid Tone Cost?

Rapid Tone is very expensive. Buy via Amazon and it costs a whopping $44.94 for one month’s supply of 60 capsules.

You can also buy in bulk and make savings.

  • 3 months supply (3 bottles) costs $94.94
  • 5 months supply (5 bottles) costs $124.94

Customers outside the USA can also buy via Amazon. Shipping is an additional $15.94.

Our Verdict On Rapid Tone

Rapid Tone is a substandard and overpriced supplement. It will not work in the way as described and we have real concerns about how this product is on sale from so many different retailers. They all claim to be “official” and use the same advertising material, yet nobody can even come up with a real ingredients list that provides the true quantities and the real contents of this capsule.

In addition, there is zero information about the background to Rapid Tone. The advertising claims it is manufactured in a state of the art US factory but there is no proof that this is true. There are no real contact details about any of the companies selling Rapid Tone, these small enterprises seem to have sprung up all over the internet from nowhere and will probably disappear in the same way once the current boom is over.

We do not trust anything about this supplement, so we do not recommend Rapid Tone to the Watchdog readers.

Rapid Tone Key Features

Rapid Tone is a weight loss supplement in capsule form. According to the label it is manufactured in the USA in a “state of the art” laboratory, although this is never named. In addition, the supplement is supposedly so effective it comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee so if you don’t like it you can supposedly get a refund. We wouldn’t rely on this actually happening!

Rapid Tone Facts

  • Each bottle contains 60 capsules – 1 month’s supply
  • On sale from various sellers all claiming to be the official Rapid Tone company
  • High number of customer complaints about billing and the guarantee
  • Available on Amazon

Rapid Tone contains five named ingredients. These are Forskolin, Garcinia Cambogia, Vitamin B12, L-Carnitine, and Ginseng! All of these are used in various other weight loss supplements and these ingredients can be effective in weight loss. Green tea is also mentioned in the advertising on Amazon, so we guess that Rapid Tone contains that as well, although strangely it does not seem to be as important as the other ingredients. In addition, not all the people selling this supplement mention the green tea.

The problem is that the ingredients list is all guesswork. Ingredients are named, but there is no label to see. There is no information about ingredient quantities. This means that so you will not know what you are taking, and so you don’t know the strength, the weakness, or possible side effects.

How to Take Rapid Tone

  • Directions are not provided

Rapid Tone appears to have sprung up practically overnight and is on sale from numerous locations online.

There are many different versions of a so-called official website. Addresses vary but two we have found are www.rapid-tone-diet.com and www.mumyfood.com/rapid-tone. There are many different versions of the “official” Facebook page too. All the websites advertising and claiming to be Rapid Tone are using the same stock images of the pink Rapid Tone bottle and the miracle ingredients Forskolin, Garcinia Cambogia, Vitamin B12, L-Carnitine, and Ginseng!

There are claims from some sites selling this supplement that Rapid Tone was featured on Shark Tank – it wasn’t. We have also seen Rapid Tone discussed and advertised on websites and forums such as Quora and Reddit, where some people are touting this supplement as miraculous. It is important to remember that these positive comments are without a doubt left by people selling this supplement.

Rapid Tone Concerns:

  • Customers might not realise that Rapid Tone is a complete rip-off
  • You could be sucked into a billing scam if you buy via Facebook or a so-called official Rapid Tone website
  • Very poor ingredients information. No information about what this supplement contains, so it could cause unforeseen side effects
  • No directions on how to take it

Rapid Tone has attracted numerous customer complaints. One Denver based company selling Rapid Tone received 14 customer complaints about non-delivery and billing scams. There are also numerous complaints left by customers on the various Facebook pages for the same reasons. Source

It seems surprising that Rapid Tone is now on sale via Amazon but if you did want to buy this supplement, Amazon would probably be the safest option.

What Does Rapid Tone Claim To Do?

According to the Amazon Advert, this supplement works in numerous ways for weight loss,

“FAT BLOCKER & APPETITE SUPPRESSANT – Rapid Tone Weight Loss Is Now Selling On Amazon With An Exclusive Blend. It will help you burn fat fast and more efficiently with our KETO DIET approved formula.”

It is also described as a “CARB BLOCKING, FAT BURNING formula will help you lose the weight quicker than you ever imagined.”

According to the generic advertising, which displays a series of glossy photos and text used by all the sellers of this supplement,

“Rapid Tone is a miraculous Weight Loss Formula”

“The most exciting breakthru in natural weight loss to date.”

Five ingredients are advertised and their benefits explained such as:

“Forskolin – Has numerous weight loss and health benefits

Garcinia Cambogia –a known appetite suppressant that reduces cravings”

The other ingredients are named as Vitamin B12, L Carnitine, and Ginseng.

The Amazon advert also mentions Green Tea,

“GREEN TEA EXTRACT – Aid your weight loss by creating the enzymes you need. One of the biggest breakthroughs recently and we have packed our NEW product full of it so you feel full.

Rapid Tone is an EXCLUSIVE Formula that will help you burn more fat and enter ketosis quicker.”

Does Rapid Tone Work?

First up, it is unlikely to work in the way as described. There is some confusion over the true ingredients list and whether or not this supplement contains green tea, but it may not make much difference anyway. Although many of the components are touted for health and weight loss, we have no way of knowing if the listed ingredients match the limited clinical testing carried out on any of the components.

Many of the claims are just plain wrong! Green tea will not create enzymes as claimed. Garcinia Cambogia is said to block carbs, but it is not known as an appetite suppressant that will block cravings. Forskolin may help widen the arteries and may help general health, Ginseng may help perk you up.

But – and it is a big but – without knowing the quantities, it is likely that the ingredients will be in low quantities and possibly ineffective. In addition, there may be additional ingredients in the formula that we just don’t know about.

There is zero evidence that Rapid Tone will do anything claimed in the advertising.

What Are The Ingredients of Rapid Tone?

There is not much information about the ingredients. The serving size is not provided and there are no directions. The information here is just for general interest and does not reflect how the supplement will work.

  • Forskolin: Coleus Forskoholii is an edible plant, and contains a natural chemical called Forskolin which may have medical benefits because it seems to improve blood flow by widening blood vessels. Some claims are that it stimulates a molecule in the body called cyclic adenosine monophosphate (or cAMP), an important chemical messenger in the body that regulates metabolism and that it can also increase testosterone levels. Although forskolin may prove to have real medical benefits, it requires further evidence.
  • Garcinia Cambogia: Sour tasting fruit which grows in Asia. It contains high levels of hydroxycitric acid (HCA) which is supposed to cause weight loss. According to some research, HCA prevents a natural digestive enzyme called Alpha amalyse from breaking down the carbs you eat for storing them into fat, and instead some of these undigested carbs pass through your body.
  • Vitamin B12: Also called Colbamine, B12 is essential for good health and as it is mainly derived from animal products such as meat; most people get sufficient in their daily diet, although vegans may need to take supplements. It is important for healthy blood cells.
  • L Carnitine: This amino acid is present in the body as well as in dietary protein such as meat, fish, and eggs. L Carnitine helps the body produce energy and helps transport fat into the cells where it is then used as fuel. Supplementing with L carnitine seems to improve endurance and athletic performance, as well as increase the metabolism, helping fat loss. How much is in this supplement? Nobody knows.
  • Ginseng: Panax Ginseng is one of the world’s most popular supplements. It is called an Adaptogen, meaning it can help improve feelings of wellbeing and the body’s reaction to stress.
  • Green Tea: Not all the advertising for Rapid Tone mentions this ingredient. However, it is safe for people to take and high in antioxidants which is very good for general health and for weight loss. Some evidence suggests it can help weight loss because it seems to increase the speed of the metabolism.

Does Rapid Tone Have Any Side Effects?

There is no genuine customer feedback for Rapid Weight Loss, so we can’t provide any true life customer experiences of taking this supplement.

That said, the named ingredients seem fairly safe, but it depends upon the quantities used.

Potential side effects may include:

  • Abdominal cramps
  • Gas
  • Diarrhoea
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Changes to blood pressure
  • Insomnia
  • Headaches
  • Fishy body odour (l carnitine)
  • Dizziness

Not suitable for individuals under 18. Avoid if you are pregnant or breast feeding. Speak to your doctor before use if you are taking prescription medication or have an underlying medical condition.

Are There Any Customer Reviews For Rapid Tone?

The only feedback about the supplement from so-called genuine customers we could find was on Amazon and according to our scam software, all the reviews are fake. The six reviews included comments, such as:

Took this for a long 3 weeks, felt like forever being an ultra clean diet, incorporated with high intensity worksouts, but wow, what a damn relief… I turned from a couch potatoe body to a proper looking dude. Stay tuned for more.

I have been taking rapidtone for just over a month and I notice that I have more energy, eat less, less bloating and my stomach fat has substantially decreased. No more naps in the afternoon and I feel great.

We also found numerous complaints on a Facebook page where someone was claiming to be the owner of the official website. Negative comments included;

.. I didn’t get what I ordered… And stole my money by over charging me.

Omg they over charged me also. They are a big scam. They have one month to return my money

scam scam scam! I didn’t even receive this product! Bought 3 bottles but received something totally different.

Does Rapid Tone Offer a Money-Back Guarantee?

There is an advertised money-back guarantee. According to the generic information offered by all sellers, if you are dissatisfied, you can claim your money back within 30 days.

Don’t hold your breath though. There are lots of complaints about this. One Denver based company attracted 14 complaints such as this one:

I properly mailed back my unused bottles of Rapid Tone with the RMA number I was given over the phone. My tracking shows the returned package was received in Denver on 9/20/18. It is now 6 weeks later and a refund has not been received. The company guarentees money back if not satisfied.

Where Can I Buy Rapid Tone?

You can buy Rapid Tone via numerous so-called official websites and Facebook pages. However the safest bet is probably to buy it via Amazon.
