Rockstar Abs Overview

What You Need To Know About Rockstar Abs

Rockstar Abs is a weight loss supplement for women who are looking to lose abdominal fat. Despite making lots of wild claims in the advertising of this supplement giving you a celebrity style body, there is no evidence that this is ever going to happen. Rockstar Abs contains low strength, mainly unproven ingredients, and although you will probably notice the unknown caffeine content, this will be about as good as it gets!

Rockstar Abs is not overly expensive and although there is an advertised 30 days guarantee, we think it is unlikely you will get a refund if you have opened the bottle.

What Are The Side Effects Of Rockstar Abs?

Potential side effects are most likely to come from the unknown caffeine content. These may include jitteriness, anxiety, insomnia, increased heart rate/blood pressure, nausea, and irritability.

Other side effects may be unpredictable. Hoodia was found to cause liver damage in some users and potential may include vomiting, heartburn, strange sensations on the skin, headaches, and allergic reaction.

How Much Does Rockstar Abs Cost?

Rockstar Abs is not overly expensive. Buy from the official Rockstar website and it costs $29.95 for a bottle of 60 capsules (60 servings). Shipping information is not provided.

You can also find Rockstar Abs on sale via Amazon for the same price.

Our Verdict On Rockstar Abs

In our opinion, Rockstar Abs is a very low-quality supplement and despite the snappy and appealing advertising, it is not going to work as described. The ingredients information is inadequate and the ingredients are so underdosed they may just as well not be included. Many of the components such as White Kidney Bean extract and CLA, for example, require around 2000mg per serving yet are contained in this supplement at just 10mg and less than 250mg for the CLA.

We have concerns about the quality of the customer feedback. All those positive reviews look impressive at first glance but seem likely to be fake, according to our scam software. In addition, there is no proper guarantee available. Although a 30 days guarantee is advertised, this is no more than a standard returns policy.

We could never approve such a duff looking supplement, therefore we do not recommend Rockstar Abs to the Watchdog readers.

Rockstar Abs Key Features

Rockstar Abs is described as a thermogenic diet pill, meaning that it increases the heat of the body in order to burn off fat. The supplement is aimed only at women wanting to lose abdominal fat and according to the advertising, targets this area specifically giving you tight and toned abs.

It is hard to see how just this will work by taking a supplement. To get tight and toned abs you need to work out and do specific abdominal exercises, and a weight loss supplement will not work on one specific body area over another. However, as most of us find that the first place we put on weight is around the middle, and when we lose weight the spare tyre is often the first to go.

Rockstar Abs Facts

  • Rockstar Abs seems practically identical to Skinny Gal
  • Contains 60 capsules per bottle
  • Made in the USA

Rockstar Abs contains a blend of ingredients, some of which are combined in a proprietary blend and some listed as individual ingredients along with serving size.

We must say here that the ingredients profile is not very impressive. Hoodia, Green Coffee Bean, and Raspberry Ketone come with very little evidence they do much for weight loss, and although the 4th listed ingredient White Kidney Bean can be effective as a carb blocker, a serving size of just 10mg makes this unlikely.

The Proprietary blend contains only 250mg per serving so it is hard to imagine just how this will work spread out over 13 ingredients, and it seems likely that the principle component is caffeine. Check out the ingredients tab to find out more.

How to Take Rockstar Abs

  • Always begin with 1 capsule to assess your personal body tolerance of the product
  • Do not exceed 1 capsule per serving unless you have adequately assessed your own tolerance. Do not exceed the recommended dosage of this product
  • Do not use this product if also using other products with caffeine

We have covered other Rockstar supplements before including Skinny Gal, the flagship product of the company.

Rockstar Abs looks to be a very similar supplement containing all of the same ingredients as Skinny Gal. Both supplements contain a proprietary blend along with four listed ingredients but in the case of Skinny Gal, these are named as African Mango Seed, Garcinia Cambogia, and CLA, with the White Kidney Bean extract listed again at just 10mg a serving.

In truth, both supplements are probably identical with the only difference being the labelling and the claims in the advertising.

Rockstar Abs Concerns:

  • You are warned in the small print to avoid other caffeine products while taking this supplement but will most customers notice?
  • Dodgy looking guarantee is unlikely to give you your money back if you are dissatisfied with this supplement
  • Although not very expensive compared to some products, Rockstar Abs is a waste of money

Rockstar supplements come with an identical logo (and name) to the better-known energy drinks brand Rockstar, but although the supplement company has obviously copied this branding right down to the style of the advertising, the two companies are not connected.

The supplement company provides a real address, which is good. And there is also a telephone number and email address.

The company address is: Rockstar LLC, 34 North Franklin Ave, Suite 687-930, and Pinedale, WY, 82941. 307-222-5971

What Does Rockstar Abs Claim To Do?

Does Rockstar Abs Work?

Taking this supplement is not going to give you the body of a celebrity or a rockstar! At best, you will notice the stimulant effect of the caffeine and although quantities of caffeine are not provided, this is likely to be the principle ingredient.

This supplement is not going to “target” your abs. Although, losing weight off the midriff area is the first improvement that many people notice when they lose weight, it is nothing to do with any supplement and all to do with the composition of the body and fat stores. A weight loss supplement does not target a problem area and work on that alone.

As a general weight loss supplement, Rockstar Abs does not look convincing. With a proprietary blend which contains 250mg shared out amongst 13 ingredients, it seems highly unlikely to do anything at all. Conjugated Linoleic Acid, Rhodiola Rosea, and Garcinia Cambogia – all these may help weight loss but all require higher levels than what is contained here.

The listed individual ingredients are equally underpowered. There is not much evidence for Green Coffee Bean (20mg) and Raspberry Ketone (30mg) anyway, but at such low servings, effects will be probably nonexistent. Hoodia has become a joke in the supplements industry. This one-time miracle weight loss ingredient has been completely discredited because it does not work and is known for causing side effects.

The final listed ingredient is White Kidney Bean Extract which can be effective as a carb blocker, and cause feelings of fullness because it is high in fibre. However, the usual serving size is around 2000mg rather than the 10mg contained here.

What Are The Ingredients of Rockstar Abs?

Serving size is equal to one capsule.

  • Raspberry ketones (30mg): Natural chemical derived from the enzymes found in the fragrance of red raspberries and which may affect a hormone in the body called Adiponectin. This hormone is important for appetite control and fat burning. Animal testing suggests Raspberry ketone increases metabolism but it has not been tested on humans.
  • Green Coffee Bean (20mg): Research indicates that slight weight loss may be caused by chlorogenic acid present in unroasted or green coffee beans but there is very little real evidence. The safety and the effective dose has not been established but the usual serving size in supplements is around 800mg. Scientists report, “More rigorous trials are needed to assess the usefulness of Green Coffee Extract as a weight loss tool” Source
  • Hoodia (10mg): Cactus extract that was popular a few years ago as a weight loss miracle. It was supposed to “switch off “hunger pangs but it does not work and has been discredited by high-level clinical research. It can cause side effects. Source
  • White Kidney bean (10mg): This is a good source of protein and fibre that can help you feel fuller for longer and can block some dietary carbs. Clinical testing has looked at supplementing with between 2000mg and 3000mg per day and found that it can help weight loss. Source

Proprietary Blend (250mg)

  • Caffeine Anhydrous: Caffeine anhydrous is a supplement form of caffeine and can be much stronger than the caffeine in the average cup of coffee. This is undoubtedly the principle ingredient in the formula so should provide the energy boost effect.
  • Garcinia Cambogia: Sour fruit which grows in Asia and is high in hydroxycitric acid. According to some research, HCA prevents a natural digestive enzyme called Alpha amalyse from breaking down the carbs you eat for storing them into fat and instead some of these undigested carbs pass through your body. Serving size is generally around 500mg.
  • African Mango: Irvingia Gabonesis as it is also known may have weight loss benefits because of its high fibre content. It is believed to promote leptin – the hormone that signals feelings of satiety and it has undergone human clinical testing that displayed very positive results. However, all testing looked at 300mg per day as optimum serving size. Source
  • Conjugated Linoleic Acid: Derived from Safflower seed, CLA contains fatty acids which are beneficial to health. Some evidence suggests it may have a fat burning effect but serving size is usually between 1000mg and 3000mg a day.
  • Apple Cider Vinegar: Believed to have numerous health benefits but very little real evidence. It is best taken in natural form.
  • Cayenne Pepper: Culinary spice. In very high quantities it can make you sweat and therefore use up calories.
  • Rhodiola Rosea: Rhodiola Rosea is often taken as a supplement in its own right because it can help boost mood and improve energy. It is an Adaptogen meaning it causes general feelings of wellbeing. Serving size can vary and as little as 50mg may help prevent fatigue.
  • Guarana: Guarana, or Paullina Cupana, is a climbing plant that grows in Brazil. It is known for its caffeine-rich seed which is higher in caffeine than the coffee bean.
  • Turmeric: Well known cooking spice with well-documented health benefits.
  • 5HTP: 5HTP is a chemical in the body that helps make serotonin, the brains feel-good chemical. It is also derived from Griffonia seed extract as here.
  • L Arginine: Amino acid produced in the kidneys that helps relax arteries increasing blood and oxygen flow.
  • Papaya: Contains an antioxidant chemical called Papain which has numerous health benefits. Papain is also known for causing allergic reactions. Source

Does Rockstar Abs Have Any Side Effects?

Rockstar Abs may cause side effects in some users judging by the ingredients and although the components of the proprietary blend are not likely to be in high quantities, we cannot guarantee that all individual strengths are low.

Potential side effects are most likely to come from the unknown caffeine content. These may include,

  • Jitteriness
  • Anxiety
  • Insomnia
  • Increased heart rate/blood pressure
  • Nausea

Other side effects may include,

  • Vomiting
  • Heartburn
  • Weird skin sensations
  • Headaches
  • Increased risk of liver damage
  • Allergic reaction

Not suitable for individuals under 18. Avoid if you are pregnant or breast feeding. Seek medical advice before use if you have an underlying medical condition or are taking prescription medication. Stop using in the case of side effects and see a medical professional.

Are There Any Customer Reviews For Rockstar Abs?

There are customer reviews posted on Amazon and most are positive. However, according to our scam software, many of these are likely to be fake so we have to take many of the positive comments with a strong pinch of salt!

I literally love this product!! I have used it for less than a month and I can feel a difference in my belly fat! It also aids with hunger pangs – I felt way less hungry and have had no cravings. Seriously love this product

Product worked really well for me lost 5 pounds in 3 days

I absolutely love this product! I seen results within 2 weeks of using the abs targeted fat burner and the original skinny gal supplement.

Negative comments include,

Save your money, this product doesn’t work. There are cheaper alternatives at the drug store which cost much less

Rockstar appears to be giving away free products in exchange for reviews. This customer was disappointed.

Did nothing….. I got a coupon from package and followed directions for contact-never received bonus product

Does Rockstar Abs Offer a Money-Back Guarantee?

There does not seem to be a money-back guarantee beyond a standard 30 days return policy. Rockstar used to offer a refund if you failed to lose weight, but this seems to have been discontinued.

Where Can I Buy Rockstar Abs?

You can buy Rockstar Abs direct from the Rockstar website. It is also on sale via Amazon USA.
