Rockstar W7 Hyper-Metabolizer Overview

What You Need To Know About Rockstar W7 Hyper-Metabolizer

Rockstar W7 Hyper Metabolizer is a female-targeted thermogenic fat burner and weight loss pill, designed to be taken once a day. It contains a rather long list of ingredients, including garcinia cambogia, african mango, and raspberry ketones, amongst other popular weight loss ingredients.

Although it uses the name ‘Rockstar’, and has a very similar logo, the brand and the supplement is in no way related to or affiliated with the popular energy drinks brand.

What Are The Side Effects Of Rockstar W7 Hyper-Metabolizer?

Some of the ingredients have some side effects. Hoodia can cause some odd skin sensations, raised blood pressure and heart rate, and vomiting. In high doses of alpha lipoic acid, there may be incidents of liver problems, and it can decrease blood sugar levels.

Common side effects of 5-HTP include heartburn, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and loss of libido.

L-Arginine can cause stomach upset, diarrhea, cramps, bloating, gas, low blood pressure, and worsening of asthma.

How Much Does Rockstar W7 Hyper-Metabolizer Cost?

On both Amazon and the official website, Rockstar W7 Hyper-Metabolizer costs $29.95, which is not too expensive. The bottle contains 60 capsules, which, if taken as directed, should last the user for two months.

Our Verdict On Rockstar W7 Hyper-Metabolizer

This product, like all of the Rockstar products we have examined so far, contains a proprietary blend, which always makes us a little suspicious. We believe that this is because the quantities of any effective ingredients just aren’t going to be high enough to make any difference.

It also means that we don’t know the individual quantities of the stimulants in here: guarana, caffeine anhydrous, and green coffee bean. Too much caffeine in one supplement can have some quite nasty side effects.

There are also lots of ingredients in here that just don’t seem relevant to weight loss or fat burning.

We also don’t like the way that the company appear to be using the name of the popular Rockstar energy drink to help them make sales – it is really misleading for customers.

Overall, we do not recommend the Rockstar W7 Hyper Metabolizer supplement to our readers.

When hearing the name and seeing the logo, it would be very easy to think that this supplement is somehow related to or affiliated with the well known and popular energy drink. However, it isn’t. Does Rockstar W7 Hyper-Metabolizer Work?

As many of the ingredients are in a proprietary blend, we cannot say for definite whether it works, as we do not know the quantities.

The ingredients list is pretty exhaustive, with all the usual ones that we would expect, such as garcinia cambogia and raspberry ketones. Whilst these are found in many supplements like this, there just is no evidence to show that they actually work.

What Are The Ingredients of Rockstar W7 Hyper-Metabolizer?

  • Garcinia Cambogia (40000 mcg): This is an African fruit with a sour taste. It is high in HCA, which is thought to work as a carb blocker. It prevents a digestive enzyme called alpha amylase from breaking down carbohydrates into fat. It is found in many weight loss supplements but there are very few studies to back up how efficient it is.
  • African Mango Extract (25000 mcg): This may have some weight loss benefits due to the high fibre content. It promotes the production of leptin – the hormone that controls the feeling of fullness and satiety.
  • Conjugated Lipoic Acid (15000 mcg): This is highly involved in energy metabolism and supports the health of most organs of the body. Found in meat, it is thought to be an anti-ager as it is antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Doses of up to 300 mg daily have been used safely. It can be very toxic to the liver in higher doses and it does not agree with some medications.
  • Apple Cider Vinegar (10000 mcg): Apple cider vinegar is fermented juice from crushed apples. It contains some pectin and a wide range of vitamins, minerals, and electrolytes. It provides many health benefits for the human body, including blood sugar management, skin health, digestive health, and antioxidant protection. However, the studies that support these claims use apple cider vinegar in a diluted liquid form, and so there is nothing to suggest that taking it in this form will give consumers the same effects. It may reduce glycemic response to a meal, but the effect does not last for long.
  • Rhodiola (10000 mcg): Similar in nature to Ginseng which is a popular herb thought to improve fatigue and mood. It has been used to help promote better mental agility and may be protective against toxins. It is believed to be effective during times of stress, but this does not extend to exercise-related fatigue.
  • White kidney bean extract (10000 mcg): White Kidney Bean is often used in health and fitness supplements because of its supposed ability to ‘block’ carbohydrate absorption.
  • 5-HTP (10000 mcg): This ingredient may work to reduce the appetite slightly, specifically binge eating patterns that could be associated with low serotonin levels.
  • Papaya (5000 mcg): This contains a chemical called Papain, which may have some effect upon the digestive system.

Proprietary Blend (200 mg)

  • Caffeine Anhydrous: This is a powdered form of caffeine and is a popular thermogenic ingredient in weight loss supplements.
  • Raspberry Ketones: Another popular ingredient in weight loss products, despite having no scientific evidence in humans to support its efficiency. In rats, it was shown to affect adiponectin – the hormone that controls appetite and fat burning.
  • Green Coffee Bean: This is a solid ingredient for any fat burner. In their unroasted state, green coffee beans are rich in a substance called Chlorogenic Acid, which has been shown to increase fat loss.
  • Hoodia Gordonii: This is a cactus extract that was extremely popular a few years ago for its supposed weight loss miracle qualities. However, this has since been discredited and is more known for its side effects (see the side effects tab for more details).
  • Cayenne Pepper: This is a decent thermogenic ingredient due to a compound that it contains, called capsicum, which, when taken its natural form, is extremely hot. Once the body absorbs the capsicum, it increases its core temperature, which obviously needs bringing back down. The process of doing this burns fat and uses a lot of calories.
  • Guarana: This is a caffeinated ingredient, popular for its energy boosting properties, which can help improve focus, metabolism, and improve your workout. It is not proven to be an effective fat burner.
  • Turmeric: This is a well known and popular cooking spice, with lots of health benefits.
  • L-Arginine HCI: This is often used as a remedy for high blood pressure in those with illnesses such as type II diabetes, it is an essential amino acid that has been thought to help with exercise performance and muscle growth. However, there is very little evidence to support this theory and because it has a low absorption rate, it is not considered an effective ingredient for a fat burner.

Does Rockstar W7 Hyper-Metabolizer Have Any Side Effects?

Hoodia can cause weird skin sensations, raised blood pressure and heart rate, and vomiting.

High doses of alpha lipoic acid, which this contains, may cause liver problems, and it can decrease blood sugar levels.
There are also several sources of caffeine in this supplement, and, if taken by someone with a sensitivity to the ingredient, can cause jitteriness, anxiety, problems with sleeping, and increased heart rate.

Side effects of L-Arginine can include stomach upset, diarrhea, cramps, bloating, gas, low blood pressure, and worsening of asthma.

Common side effects of 5-HTP include heartburn, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and loss of sex drive.
