Roxylean is advertised as a Super Concentrated Thermogenic diet pill that is extremely strong. There is even a warning printed on the supplement bottle that tells you not to take without consent of a physician. You can’t say the company behind Roxylean didn’t warn you, but many customers have experienced extreme side effects from this diet supplement that are nothing to do with weight loss.
We take a look at the claims, the science behind the ingredients and the customer feedback.
Roxylean may not be safe for the average person looking to lose weight.
The ingredient quantities are not provided and many of the ingredients can be extremely dangerous and can cause medical problems in the wrong dosages. Even the Thiamine content is high enough to cause itchiness, flushing and skin disorders and there do not appear to be any reasons why Roxylean will help you lose weight or build muscle.
The caffeine content will probably give your energy a short-term boost and the product information claims it is the equivalent of around three normal cups of coffee.
According to the Roxylean product information the supplement can cause nervousness, irritability, sleeplessness, rapid heartbeat, dizziness, severe headache, and shortness of breath.
In addition, customers have reported numerous extra side effects including itchiness, redness, burning face, nausea, vomiting, head rush, numbness to lips and skin, and diarrhoea.
Roxylean doesn’t seem to be available from the BPI website anymore, or from third party supplement retailers. The exception is Amazon, who sell a bottle for $24.83 at present.
Roxylean comes with numerous side effects that appear to affect a high percentage of users. Some of the ingredients are questionable and others, such as Rauwolfia and Salix Alba are dangerous. Even the customer who left a positive review said that Roxylean made him vomit.
The ingredient amounts are not specified and the advice to visit your doctor before you start taking this supplement is somewhat dubious because a medically trained doctor would never recommend such a potentially dangerous supplement. If customers really asked medical advice beforehand, BPI Sports would probably never manage to sell this product.
It really is a no brainer; we have to reject Roxylean.

Roxylean is manufactured and marketed by BPI Sports, a sports nutrition company based in South Florida. The company specialise in what they describe as “hard edged sports nutrition” and their product range is available across the USA and internationally. Roxylean contains a blend of herbal extracts including Yohimbe and Goldenseal combined with caffeine.
BPI sell a range of supplements aimed at promoting exercise performance, muscle mass and similar.
Roxylean is part of the weight loss range and other supplement products include B4 a once daily fat burner, Keto XT a fat burner based on raspberries with CLA (conjugated Linoleic acid) and Nite Burn a stimulant free fat burning formula.
Roxylean is rather confusingly described, as being a product “based on the most popular weight loss supplement” although gives no clues as to what this most popular supplement actually is.
However, it seems that Roxylean is a fat burner, which contains stimulant ingredients that will help improve your energy levels, and it is described as a weight management and energy enhancing formula.
To use Roxylean you are advised to take one capsule daily in the morning on an empty stomach, or as advised by a qualified health practitioner.
You are advised to keep to the maximum dose of one capsule per day and avoid all other stimulants including caffeine and products containing synephrine or ephedrine. This means going without your regular coffee or cups of tea too.
BPI warn customers about a range of potential side effects that Roxylean may cause and these are along the lines of the usual effects of overdoing the stimulants such as dizziness, rapid heart beat, insomnia and similar.
In addition to these, customer feedback has highlighted numerous other symptoms including stomach upsets, pain and skin rashes.
The website does not really give any indication about the sort of weight loss results you can expect and how to “live” while taking this supplement.
It appears to be one those macho products that hint that Roxylean is only suitable for people “man enough” to take it and probably too dangerous for normal people.
Roxylean claims four key points.
All the statements used on the website are marked with a † symbol or an asterisk symbol * which is explained in the small print of the website as a disclaimer and this spoils the look of the positive advertising.
The † symbol means:
When combined with a proper exercise and nutrition regimen. Statements based on early-stage independent 3rd party in vivo and / or in vitro model scientific research data findings for individual ingredients.
This means that some of the ingredients have been independently tested in non-product related clinical testing. In vitro means tested under glass or in test tubes, in vivo means testing on living subjects including animals.
The upshot of this is that if you exercise and diet, you may get some good effects but of course although some of the ingredients have been tested, efficacy is not actually proven.
This fact is reinforced by the statement;
When taken properly, research shows that the component agents in Roxylean may have a remarkable and potentiating effect on weight management and lean muscle mass.
The * symbol means:
* These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
According to the BPI website, “Roxylean™ is THE WEIGHT MANAGEMENT, ENERGY ENHANCING FORMULA. So FAST, so LEAN, and so RIPPED.* This is the product that delivers where others fall short.*
It undoubtedly has an effect upon most people and taking Roxylean is a predominantly unpleasant experience that will cause side effects. Whether or not these side effects are dangerous, long term is unknown. This is not a safe way to lose weight.
Roxylean is a diet pill that contains 750mg of a mix of stimulants and natural ingredients – some of which have been clinically tested.
According to the Roxylean product information the supplement can cause:
In addition, customers have reported numerous extra side effects including.
Many customers complain about the effects to the skin and nausea. This is a typical comment.
The second day, about 10 minutes after taking the pill, I became nauseated and VERY hot. My face, neck, and chest became very red and burned (I felt SO horrible I barely made it through work).
Caution:
Avoid if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Do not take Roxylean if you are sensitive to stimulants or suffer from any medical condition, especially around the heart or blood pressure.
According to one positive review from a customer who did not mind the side effects;
The first time I took the 750 mg pill, I did so on an empty tummy without planning to exercise.
Once it kicked in, I had no choice. I had to run in place while getting dressed and while I was out, I parked far away; power- walked to my destinations and opted for the stairs when I had the opportunity. I vomited and still felt energy for more than 12 hours
A typical negative customer comment;
This is not a good product and I wanted to return it and Amazon will not allow you to. It gave me a terrible headache and did nothing else for me. A friend at work ordered it too and we both had the same reaction. Don’t waste your money
Another customer was less polite,
This supplement is just plain old garbage and it doesn’t give you energy or make you want to do anything other than poop!
No money-back guarantee appears to be on offer.

I’ve had great results with this product HUGE energy boost controls appetite but to a point you have to have some will power in that department as well for it to work and i have had no adverse side effects
People.. It’s not a miracle supplement. I understand the red face and slight burning of the skin.. Which is temporary. I reject the watchdog comments as this is a great product! It must be used with a workout program for it to work properly. I doubt that any of these comment are from people who actually know what their doing in the gym. Of course if you’re caffeine sensitive, DONT TAKE IT.! It’s the main ingredient. After about 3 days, the burning and flushed feeling gets less and less. Side effects?, yes! But if you’re fat and REALLY want to lose weight, take the damn pill, get used to it (like anything else) and quit bashing this product! Thousands of actual “real” body builders have done research on how to use it properly. When you people that allegedly vomited, what did you expect it to do? Perform miracles!.. Your fat! And if you are serious about losing weight.. Get over your overblown sensitivities and do some research on how you’re really supposed to take it and what else to stack it with.. You complainers have NO right to tell others to “NOT TAKE IT” woosies! Stop bashing this BPI product.. I love it.!!
I love roxy lean it does heat you up duh it has niacin in it people I’ve taken this wonderful product for four years now and it’s amazing people need to know what there taking and how the product works some people go into dieting blind and no research and then complain such as all the comments above
Thank you! Love it too..
First off let me start with my stats:
5’2 female 130 pounds
My BF bought these for himself and then decided he still wanted to bulk not lean out so he passes them onto me since that’s what I’m working on.
I took 1 on an empty stomach as the directions said, within 15 minutes my whole body turned red and felt as if it was on fire. I jumped in the shower stayed under the cold spray, only way to dull the pain. Instantly started to feel nauseous began vomiting as well as my nose began to bleed.
I almost passed out in the shower from the burning sensation, and seriously considering calling an ambulance.
After 30 minutes of this I was finally able to crawl out of the shower without feeling on fire, laid on the bathroom floor and began shaking, unable to stay warm.
Crawled to the couch am still bright red 2 hours later and under 4 blankets.
PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS!! Incredibly scary and quite averse side effects.
You described what just happened to me..I had to call into work because I couldn’t catch my breath and was about to call 911. Scary side effects.
