The Diet Pills Watchdog is proud to provide the inaugural scholarship program for students focusing on health and social improvement.
Applicants will be asked to provide a 3000-word essay and will be judged on their critical thinking, analysis and thought process. They must plan to attend a post-secondary institution and plan to major in a public health field such as medicine, nursing, health management, health research or pharmacy.
Students must submit an application form, an essay transcript, a personal statement of intent and a short text explaining of how they will use the potential award.
The deadline to apply is 31st July 2017 and the awards will be presented at the end of August 2017.
Be a resident of the 50 United States, Puerto Rico or the District of Columbia.
Be currently enrolled in an accredited, post-secondary institution of higher learning in the United States or planning to commence such study in 2017.
The scholarship is awarded regardless of race, religion or sex, and is of equal opportunity to all.
How to Apply
Applicants must submit an essay on the following subject:
Will the scrapping of Obamacare have a detrimental effect on the health of United States citizens?
Discuss the merits of either scrapping or keeping the basic tenets of Obamacare and whether the overall health of the nation will suffer or improve.
Your essay will be around 3000 words long and have correct spelling, punctuation and grammar. Judging will be on the reasoning of critical thought and not be based on whether the scrapping of Obamacare is correct or not.
There is a primary award of $3000, with two secondary awards of $1000.
All applications must be submitted via the online form no later than July 31st 2017.
