She Supps Vegan Protein is a protein powder based on the increasingly trendy Pea Protein Isolate. This protein is becoming popular with people looking to lose weight with protein, but who want to avoid milk derived products such as whey, or have concerns about the safety of soy. She Supps Vegan Protein looks pretty good at first glance, but is this first impression accurate? We take a look at She Supps Vegan Protein to find out.
She Supps is a Manchester based UK company that deals mainly with the UK market and has the current on trend look on all the social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. She Supps Vegan Protein comes in a full size storage jar, but you can also buy refill packs for a slightly cheaper price. She Supps tries to encourage customers to sign up to auto ship as part of their sales policy.
The refill packs are simple plastic bags of the powder that you pour into your storage jar on subsequent purchases. The 30 serving (900g) refill pack costs £24.99.
If you sign up to the subscription option for 12 months, the price of the full size refill pack is reduced to £21.24 per bag.
We like She Supps Vegan Protein because we like pea protein isolate as a protein source. It is safe and side effect free, and many people find it is effective. However, we are not impressed by the price of this supplement. It is massively overpriced and you can find much the same sort of basic supplement elsewhere for much cheaper. Holland and Barrett, for example, sell a very similar protein powder for around £9.00.
Overall, although we have certainly seen many worse products on the market, She Supps Vegan Protein does not seem like very good value for money. For this reason, we certainly would not recommend others to buy.
She Supps Vegan Protein Review
Protein powders have always been popular with bodybuilders who use them to build muscle and to sustain intensive exercise programs. However, these days protein is also big for weight loss as people turn to protein meal replacement drinks as a handy way of dieting.
She Supps Vegan Protein contains pea protein as the sole active ingredient. Pea protein is not a complete protein such as whey but it is slow in digesting meaning that it will stay in your stomach making you feel full and hunger free, for longer than whey.
She Supps Vegan Protein is a chocolate flavoured post workout supplement so presumably the idea is that you drink it after your exercise routine. The reason that most people take post workout protein shakes is to help build muscle, but even if you don’t want this it is a convenient and less fattening alternative to a chocolate snack and a soda, often the only food available in the gym.
You can also use a protein shake as a meal replacement should you wish.
She Supps Vegan Protein provides a plant-based alternative to the vast number of protein powders based on dairy products such as whey. A high number of people struggle with allergies and intolerances to whey and other milk products.
It is also an alternative to soy protein, which many people are beginning to question because of some associated health scares. Some people believe that soy is a trigger for breast cancer – it contains plant chemicals called phytoestrogens which work in a similar way to oestrogen in the body.
How to Take She Supps Vegan Protein
Add 3 Scoops (30g) of powder into a shaker or blender with approximately 300ml of milk or water. Try creating new recipes by adding fresh fruit and ice. Consume 1–2 Shakes daily or as required.
Importantly, you don’t have to be vegan to use Vegan Protein! Many people choose to be vegan some of the time and it is not the hand knitted lifestyle choice it once was. These days a plant-based lifestyle is becoming very fashionable. Beyonce has her own brand of vegan meal products and many people are going vegan for at least some of the time in order to lose weight and get healthier.
That said, She Supps Vegan Protein Powder looks to be pretty basic. Along with pea protein concentrate, it contains stevia for sweetness and natural dark flavoured cocoa for taste. There are no added vitamins minerals or other weight loss ingredients we see in some protein shakes. Each serving is equal to just 109 calories if you add to water.
She Supps Vegan Protein Concerns:
- This supplement is very basic and seems very overpriced
- Very little customer feedback
- The Subscription agreement (auto ship) takes a minimum of 30 days to cancel
She Supps is a British company based in Manchester. This company looks fashionable and likely to appeal to their target audience of predominantly young women. One of their unique features is the use of storage jars that you buy with your first purchase and then use for subsequent refills. This is a good idea but not so good is the fact that you are encouraged to subscribe to the site. Subscription means auto ship and this is where fresh supplies are delivered to your door on a regular basis and your bank card bill directly.
The subscription option is openly advertised and is not compulsory but you may find it difficult to cancel. She Supps needs at least 30 days to cancel the standing order. Most companies who openly advertise a subscription program advise that you can cancel immediately but this is not the case here.
There are three types of supplement in the She Supps range; The Slimmer Range, the Muscle Range and the Energy Range. She Supps Vegan Protein is part of the Muscle Range.
What Does She Supps Vegan Protein Claim To Do?

There is a brief explanation about the benefits of pea protein,

The key features are:

- No Artificial Flavouring

- Low in Fat
- High in Protein
- Only 109 Calories Per Serving
- Vegan Friendly
- Suitable for Vegetarians
- Gluten & Dairy Free

We feel they are scraping the barrel to find things to say about this supplement. After all, we would expect a vegan protein powder to be suitable for vegans AND vegetarians and be high in protein.
Does She Supps Vegan Protein Work?
We like pea protein isolate. This protein powder is a safe alternative to whey or soy protein and in our opinion is especially good if you are looking to restrict your appetite and lose weight. At 109 calories (if added to water) it will certainly make you feel fuller and less inclined to overeat if quantities and portion sizes are your particular problem.
If you use it as a post workout supplement it will probably save you from snacking on something more fattening. For muscle building it works equally as well as whey.
She Supps Vegan Protein is a bit basic and does not contain added vitamins or extras but we think this supplement will be effective if you use it correctly.
What Are The Ingredients of She Supps Vegan Protein?
Each 30g serving is equal to 3 scoops of the powder and contains 22.5 g of protein.
- Pea Protein Isolate: Pea protein is becoming very popular. It is hypoallergenic – is there anyone in the world who is allergic to peas? Pea protein is easily digested; it contains a balanced amino acid profile and is rich in fibre. Pea protein stays in the stomach for a long term so can prevent hunger pangs. In addition it does not cause abdominal discomfort and bloating which is often associated with whey protein.
- Flavours: Natural Dark Cocoa.
- Colourings, Stabilisers, Xanthan Gum.
- Sweetener: Stevia.
Does She Supps Vegan Protein Have Any Side Effects?
Side effects are unlikely.

One customer said,
Horrible grainy taste, doesn’t really taste like chocolate. Wouldn’t recommend
The other reviewer had tried this supplement in strawberry flavour, which no longer seems to be available. She did not like the flavour but felt it was better than many other vegan proteins on the market,
Strawberry flavour was not very nice. Drinkable but did not enjoy the flavour. Did not get a sweet taste from this and tasted powdery, although it blended well and was not grainy, still had a powdery taste. However, every other vegan proteins I have tasted from other websites have not blended this well, so it is still better than others I have tried.
