There are many so-called T5 diet pills on the market right now. They come with a strong powerful image of vast potential weight loss. Slim Bomb T5 Extreme sounds like it should be extremely strong, judging by the name but the ingredients list seems to tell a different story.
If you have been struggling to lose weight and have already tried other diet pills to no avail, a T5 supplement may look like a tempting prospect. T5 supplements sound strong and effective and anything that kick starts your metabolism into burning off fat at a faster rate sounds great for losing weight.
T5 supplements are so named after the thyroid hormones that they are supposed to affect by somehow “speeding” them up in order for you to lose weight.
The thyroid gland is the major gland in the endocrine (hormone) system and is vitally important for health and wellbeing.
It is situated just below the neck and controls how the body uses energy, makes proteins and regulates the use of other hormones. It affects every part of your mood behaviour and health. The thyroid gland also produces the hormones Triiodothyronine (T3) and Thyroxine (T4).
There is no hormone called T5 but diet pills that have this description are believed to encourage the production of the T3 and T4 hormones which have many purposes including regulating the speed of the metabolism.
Slim Bomb T5 Extreme contains some stimulant ingredients including Guarana, which contains caffeine, and Siberian Ginseng.
The only ingredient, which can be described as relevant to the thyroid, is kelp extract. Kelp contains iodine, which is a vital chemical element for health because the body uses it to synthesise thyroid hormones.
However, there is a lack of information about the ingredients contained in this supplement and although we are told that the capsules contain 300mg of Guarana we are not told just how much kelp (or iodine) it contains.
This is not very good because the kelp is the only ingredient that really has any relevance to Slim Bomb Extreme as a T5 supplement.
In fact Slim Bomb T5 Extreme is a general diet pill that contains stimulants and very little else. It seems likely that it is only being described as T5 because this is currently popular.
Many consumers believe that a T5 supplement has special weight loss powers and is powerful and effective but the truth is it is just the same as all the others and just an example of marketing.
There is no evidence that this pill will encourage the production of the T hormones. There is no evidence that doing this will help you to lose weight anyway. Endocrinology or the study of hormones is a deeply complicated medical science and talking about “boosting t hormones” and similar is over simplistic and probably wrong. Your hormones are held in an extremely delicate balance and control every aspect of your behaviour and health including your appetite, your gender, your sex drive, mental health and mood.
It is not very likely you will be able to resolve hormonal problems with an OTC diet pill when it seems that science is struggling to understand the problems.
The manufacturers of Slim Bomb T5 Extreme are Dplan who also make Slim Bomb. The company sell via Slimming Solutions but there is little information about the manufacturing company.
Slim Bomb is a stimulant diet pill which contains Caffeine, Cha de Bugre and Green Tea Extract.
To use Slim Bomb T5 Extreme you are advised to take 1-2 capsules daily. You are not given any further directions but we suggest that earlier is better because of the high caffeine content.
Slim Bomb T5 Extreme is on sale from Slimming Solutions a well-known British supplements website.
According to the limited product information, T5 Extreme provides:
Double action, double strength performance…
going on to say;
these t5 fat burners allow you to see dramatic weight loss results…fast!
T5 is one of a number of hormones (including T3) produced by your thyroid which signals your body to increase metabolism.
This is not strictly true. There is no hormone called T5.
T5 slimming pills are simply tablets which contain either synthetic or natural compounds which increase your levels of T5. T5 slimming pills increase thyroid hormone production which results in an increase in weight loss.
This is confusing because we do not actually have a hormone called T5 so this supplement will not increase its levels.
Slim Bomb T5 Extreme is ideal for both men and women who want to get rid of stubborn excess fat.
We cannot vouch for this because it has been extremely hard even finding someone who has taken this supplement.
Slim Bomb T5 Extreme is a diet pill that is supposed to promote extreme weight loss.
Ingredient amounts are not provided on the website so we can only offer a general overview.
There is some confusion on the label. It appears that each capsule contains 300mg of Guarana plus the other ingredients. However we feel it is more likely that 300mg is the sum total of all the ingredients. Please note that we do not know for sure and this information is not available.
Hard to tell really. If Slim Bomb Extreme really does contain 300mg of Guarana powder per capsule, you may get a modest caffeine rush especially if you are not an habitual coffee drinker.
Some of the other ingredients are of concern and may be potentially dangerous if you have health issues. There is nothing here that particularly sets this supplement apart as a T5 diet pill. It does contain kelp, which in turn contains iodine – known to promote thyroid function, but none of this is really proven and without ingredients amounts it is impossible to know exactly what this diet pill will do.
There may be side effects but without any independent customer feedback, we cannot bring you any true-life experiences.
However, potential side effects may include;
Caution: Avoid if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Do not take if you have any hormone related health issues such as breast cancer and ovarian cancer because of the Siberian Ginseng content. Do not take if you suffer from a heart condition or have high blood pressure. Avoid if you are taking anti depressants or prescription medication. Do not take if you suffer from any type of mental condition such as Schizophrenia.
We were unable to find anyone who had actually tried this supplement.
Very unlikely, we do not think that Slim Bomb T5 Extreme works and we have doubts about its safety. The principle ingredient is caffeine so you will undoubtedly “feel something” but we cannot see how this will increase your hormone T5 when there is no such thing.
The lack of ingredient amounts information makes it hard to gauge exactly what this diet pill will do but we do not believe it will help you lose weight.

There is not much about Slim Bomb T5 Extreme that seems to make it worth buying apart from the price. This diet pill is mainly caffeine with a few extras thrown in and we are very concerned about Siberian Ginseng. This ingredient comes with numerous interactions and side effects including weight gain and we cannot see that it is worth the risk.
The advertising describes this diet pill as a T5 supplement but do not seem to understand actually how it works or what it is supposed to do. You cannot boost your T5 levels – we don’t actually have hormones called T5 and it seems highly unlikely to have much of a thyroid hormone boosting effect. In the interests of safety, this is probably just as well.
We are simply not convinced by Slim Bomb T5 Extreme and it seems that customers feel the same. Nobody appears to have bought it and there is zero customer feedback, which is of concern. It is an easy decision. We have no other choice but to reject Slim Bomb T5 Extreme.
