Slim Xtreme Gold is a weight-loss product that claims to work by dissolving excess body fat. It contains a number of herbs and other natural ingredients, which claim to help your organs absorb excess body fat and eliminate it through oxidation. The company also claims that you can include Slim Xtreme Gold in your diet even if you are not trying to lose weight because it provides you with a steady supply of nutrients essential for overall health.
Slim Xtreme Gold provides you with a simple and effective way to lose weight. They claim that if you take these capsules on a regular basis, you will manage to up your metabolic rate, which in turn will help lose weight effective. While it certainly includes natural ingredients, there may or may not be some banned ingredients, such as sibutramine as well.
Slim Xtreme Gold claims to be an improved version Slim Xtreme, but there seems to be no change in its ingredient list. It uses a proprietary blend, so we do not know what it may or may not have. Therefore, it is better to avoid it if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Check out our “Side Effects” section for more details.
You will have to pay £21.99 to get two boxes of Slim Xtreme Gold. You will get 60 capsules in total.
Slim Xtreme Gold claims to be one of the best weight loss supplements out there, and that is only because the pills contain some natural ingredients. Is it a good thing to combine several natural ingredients together and advertise it as a magic pill to lose weight? Not all natural ingredients have scientific evidence to support their proposed benefits. The same holds true in case of Slim Xtreme Gold. We do not know how much of each ingredient is there and we could not find enough scientific evidence to confirm that those ingredients can lead to a significant reduction in weight.
Slim Xtreme Gold contains bitter orange fruit, which has been used in traditional Chinese medicine to get several health benefits. While there is some evidence that bitter orange may help relieve upset stomach and assist with mild insomnia, you cannot find reliable scientific data to confirm that it boosts weight loss.
According to the National Centre for Complementary and Alternative Medicine there is currently no scientific evidence to support claims that bitter orange is effective for weight loss. Even when concentrated doses of the extract are added to supplements, there has been very little evidence to say it provides any weight-loss benefits.
Even if we trust those small studies suggesting that synephrine in bitter orange fruit suppresses appetite, we cannot say that Slim Xtreme Gold can still make a difference. The reason is that we know nothing about how much of synephrine content is there in each serving of this weight loss supplement. You may notice some results only when you take at least 32 mg of synephrine a day, but that may or may not be the case with Slim Xtreme Gold.
Another issue associated with bitter orange fruit is that it works as a stimulant to boost your metabolism, but studies show that it may also raise your heart rate. In fact, the increase in heart rate is greater than the increase in your metabolic rate. When that happens, you will find it difficult to have the energy to perform better in the gym. Moreover, there are compounds in bitter orange that are quite similar to a banned herb ephedra, so it is better to avoid it or you may end up dealing with serious side effects.
The addition of cassia seed does not make Slim Xtreme Gold any better. It is true that cassia seeds help remove heat from your body and relax the bowels, but they do not add any value to a weight-loss supplement. They have laxative properties and may help treat constipation. These laxative properties come from their anthraquinones content. Due to their laxative effects, you may end up losing some water weight in the process. However, if your weight scale shows some reduction in your weight after taking cassia seed, that is just because you have lost some water weight and not fat. Therefore, this is not weight loss really.
You have to take one capsule per day in the beginning. Take it with a glass of water before or after breakfast.
Similarly, mulberry leaf in Slim Xtreme Gold does not make great sense. The manufacturer states that mulberry leaf has nutrients that lower blood sugar levels and boost fat loss. While studies have shown some beneficial effects of mulberry leaves on your immune system, there is no evidence that it will burn fat as well.
There is one very small trial that evaluated mulberry leaf extract on blood sugar levels and observed that it reduced the initial increase in blood sugar after eating sugar. There is one unblinded evaluation of an ingredient extracted from mulberry leaves (1-deoxynojirimycin) that suggests it may slow the rise in blood sugar after a meal. But there is no data to demonstrate that mulberry has any influence on “fat burning” or, most importantly, weight.
You will also find Job’s tears seed in Slim Xtreme Gold. Research shows that it may be beneficial for your stomach, spleen, large intestine, and lungs. However, only animal studies have highlighted some weight-loss benefits of Job’s tears seed. For instance:
Obese mice were injected with extracts from Job’s Tears for four weeks in research published in 2004 in the journal “Life Sciences.” Compared to a control group, the mice fed the extracts had reduced body weights, food intake, fat size, adipose fat tissue mass and levels of cholesterol and triglycerides.
Even if it works similar in humans, there is no guarantee that Slim Xtreme Gold will work because they have not offered any information about how much of this ingredient is available in the formula. The same is the case with konjac root, which is another ingredient in Slim Xtreme Gold. Together with medical amylum, it helps suppress appetite and promotes satiety. It is true that konjac root provides you with soluble fibres, which may help slow glucose absorption and lower blood cholesterol, but it may not burn fat directly. Moreover, studies have found contradictory results. For instance:
Konjac glucomannan helped a small group of obese participants lose more weight and fat than a group taking a placebo, according to a 2015 study published in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition. However, a review study published in 2014 in the same journal reported conflicting results, noting that the weight-loss supplement didn’t help people lose more weight than a placebo group.
Lotus leaf in Slim Xtreme Gold may not help as well. Only animal studies have shown some effect. We could not find reliable human studies to confirm if lotus leaf or Slim Xtreme Gold is going to trigger fat loss. Animal studies show some promise though.
A much more recent study (2010), albeit still conducted on animals, investigated the weight loss potential of Lotus leaf extract in rats that were fed a high-fat diet. A total of 36 rats were evenly split into one of four groups of which two groups were exposed to Lotus leaf extracts (400 mg) whereas the other two groups were exposed to distilled water (400 mg) for a period of six weeks. The results of the study indicated that the two groups that were exposed to Lotus leaves gained significantly less weight than their distilled water counterparts and also demonstrated a lower cholesterol level.
Even if lotus leaf is effective, we do not know how much of it is there in the supplement. In fact, we cannot say for sure exactly what a supplement contains when it uses a proprietary blend. This is true in case of Slim Xtreme Gold, which has been banned by the FDA in the past because the product contained sibutramine. We do not know if it still contains sibutramine, but there is no point in taking any chances, especially when there are much better weight loss supplements that include scientifically proven and safe ingredients to help burn fat in a healthy way.
Slim Xtreme Gold claims to be better than ever, but there is no change in its ingredient profile. It offers these claimed benefits:
Marketed as a weight-loss supplement, Slim Xtreme Gold does not have anything to burn fat directly. It includes natural ingredients that may suppress appetite a bit or boost metabolism to some extent, but there is no real fat burner in this supplement. It uses a proprietary blend, so we do not know how much of each ingredient is present. They say that the supplement stimulates your sebaceous glands to secrete sweat, which in turn burns body fat, but there is no scientific evidence to support this claim. Moreover, it may contain a banned ingredient, sibutramine, which can cause serious side effects. So, avoid it and look for a supplement with scientifically proven ingredients only.

Slim Xtreme Gold includes natural ingredients, but we do not know anything about doses. Here is what you are supposed to find in this weight loss supplement.
Slim Xtreme Gold uses a proprietary blend, so there is always a risk of experiencing side effects because you do not know what or how much of each ingredient is included in the blend. Therefore, you should avoid it when you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Many customers have complained about experiencing acid reflux, stomach cramps, and diarrhoea. The addition of bitter orange fruit may lead to problems like irritability, extreme thirst, rapid heartbeat, and frequent urination. Some people have also complained about experiencing pain in the left shoulder.
It may contain sibutramine that can lead to serious consequences in people with certain medical conditions, such as coronary artery disease, arrhythmia, congestive heart failure, and stroke. The presence of Job’s tears seeds and cassia seed may lead to gastrointestinal problems.
Caution: Not suitable for individuals under 18. Avoid if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Slim Xtreme Gold does not have many positive customer reviews, which is another reason why you may want to avoid it. Here are some examples:
The problem is I got bad stomach cramps and major acid + diarrhoea about 5 hours after taking the stuff.
I have been experiencing some strange side effects while taking Slim Xtreme: rapid heartbeat, and frequent urination. I even experienced panic attack symptoms when I tried taking 2 pills early on.
After a few days though I began to feel really groggy and soon my chest started to tighten and my heart rate went through the roof.
The official website claims to have a 45-day satisfaction guarantee, but this is not mentioned anywhere else.
You can buy it from third-party sellers.
Slim Xtreme Gold contains some natural ingredients, but they may not help you lose weight at all. The supplement works by suppressing appetite, but you are not going to get any results if you do not follow a good diet and exercise plan. Some ingredients like bitter orange may have negative side effects, such as elevated heart rate and raised blood pressure. It may also contain sibutramine, which is banned for potentially harmful effects. The price is not affordable either. So, why would you want to waste your money on something that is ineffective and may cause several side effects? Avoid it!
