Below we take an in-depth look into SlimFit 180, to see if this product deserves its increasingly bad reputation as an outright scam.
SlimFit 180 is a diet program and weight-loss supplement that is available to buy as a yearly subscription. The supplement itself contains just one ingredient (garcinia cambogia), and appears to be the latest version of a long-string of garcinia cambogia-based products released by the same manufacturer.
This simple product and diet plan are produced by Optimal Health Products LLC., a company that appears to have gone to great lengths to hide their association with the product. This is largely due to the company’s shocking reputation for scams and non-existent customer service.
Optimal Health Products’ modus operandi appears to be to get customers to buy a “free trial” on the cheap, before getting them to unwittingly sign-up for an autoship program that will cost them hundreds of dollars. Even if customers notice and cancel before charges come in, the company makes life extremely difficult with scripted customer service agents who sometimes hang up on the customer as the issue is close to being resolved to customer satisfaction (forcing the whole process to begin anew). When the product in question attracts too much negative attention, the company simply re-packages it under a new name and with a new slick advertising campaign and begins the process again!
This product features little more than a straightforward dose of garcinia cambogia, an ingredient which is not known for its side effects. Customers may experience mild headaches, digestive discomfort, or nausea. Although known to be safe short-term, the long-term safety of garcinia cambogia is unknown.
On official SlimFit 180 product pages, a 12-month supply of the supplement and diet, exercise, and advice materials costs $399.60. It is believed that this sum will net the customers 12 bottles. Customers can also opt to pay on an auto-ship program per bottle, which involves 10 payments of $56.72 (assumedly giving the customer 10 bottles for a higher price). The much-maligned “free trial” is essentially a well-designed, legal scam that is intended to land customers with a $160 bill. Avoiding this bill is surprisingly difficult, even when going into the deal knowing the terms and services back to front, so we highly discourage readers from trying it out.
The manufacturer of SlimFit 180, Optimal Health Products LLC., don’t want you to know that they are behind this product, for the simple reason that they want to be protected from hordes of angry and wronged customers. Although their business practices are legal (just), their approach has all the hallmarks of a scam and needs to be called as such.
Former customers report being handed exorbitant bills and being placed onto auto-ship programs without their knowledge. Optimal Health Products deliberately hide their terms of service and basic product information, and run a customer service number that is set up to confuse and obstruct. The company is interested only in ripping off customers and hoping that they realise too late to stop the money flowing out – there’s simply no other way of looking at it.
Incidentally, this product is also highly expensive garbage, one that uses a long-discredited weight loss ingredient that will fail to help most users to lose weight. Customers interested in trying a single-ingredient garcinia cambogia product can find hundreds of alternatives for a lower price and from a more reputable supplier. Avoid this particular version like the plague.
Overall, we do not recommend SlimFit 180 to our readers.

SlimFit 180 is a weight loss supplement and diet program that is available to buy online. The product has only been made available to buy since 2016, and could well be a re-branded copy of an earlier product called Garcinia Cambogia XT. The way this product is packaged alongside some diet manuals makes it one of the more expensive products we have reviewed, especially when considering it largely contains just one ingredient: the much-maligned, garcinia cambogia.
After a lot of digging, we were able to discover that this pricey product is manufactured and sold by Optimal Health Products LLC., a borderline-criminal company with an appalling history of scamming customers. In the past, Optimal Health Products has been accused of using “free trial” offers as an opportunity to take credit card information and place exorbitant, recurring charges on customers. The company also takes great lengths to disguise its identity, apparently promoting a new product every 2 years or so, developing a reputation for malpractice, then melting away and coming back with a new product and identity. The company’s real contact details (as opposed to “dead end” links like [email protected]) are listed here:

The directions for use are as follows:
Very few claims are made about Slimfit 180 on the official product website, although the bottle itself claims to help customers to lose weight through suppressing appetite, boosting metabolism and a fat-burning action. The formula is also said to give customers a boost of energy.
The overall package that customers buy is more than just the supplement, however. Customers can expect to receive an “Xtreme Diet Manual” that has weekly food, exercise and stress advice, as well as “The Gourmet Diet Cookbook”, which features healthy Mediterranean-inspired recipes. Customers also receive an exercise DVD called the “FitnessVideo Series”, as well as online support from experts and access to a specialised website. Finally, customers receive three copies of a magazine called “Health and Fitness”.
This product essentially contains just one ingredient: garcinia cambogia. We have reviewed garcinia cambogia-based products time and again and the message can only be the same. It simply doesn’t work, at least not in humans.
Although researchers have noted weight loss when testing garcinia cambogia in rats, the same results can almost never be replicated in humans. The reason why isn’t exactly clear, but it may be due to the fact that the enzyme garcinia cambogia manipulates is less crucial to human fat levels. Regardless, even studies that do find benefits from using garcinia cambogia find those benefits to be highly unreliable at best.
We haven’t seen the rest of the material that SlimFit 180 sends out (including the diet and exercise manuals), although any material that promotes good diet and exercise should be great in theory. The diet material, in particular, is said to be based on the Mediterranean Diet, which is increasingly thought of as an excellent, moderate approach to healthy dieting.
The ingredients included in SlimFit 180 are listed below. Readers should note that it was exceedingly difficult to find the ingredients list for this product, and certain statements made on the ingredients list we found may not correspond to the current makeup of the supplement that is available to buy today. The ingredient quantities listed below are supposed to be correct for 2 capsules of SlimFit 180.
Garcinia Cambogia poses no issues for most people when taken by mouth for fewer than 12 weeks. It may cause mild nausea, digestive tract discomfort, and headaches when used short-term, although readers should remember that its long-term safety is unknown.
Do not exceed recommended serving size. Use only as directed. Not intended for use by persons under 18 or by those with a serious medical condition. Do not use if pregnant or nursing. Please consult your physician before using this product.
Most of the customer reviews we found on SlimFit 180 fail to mention the product at all, instead focusing on personal frustrations over being scammed. Scamming people, unfortunately, appears to be the business model pursued by Optimal Health Products LLC., to the dismay and anger of unwitting customers that are caught in the net.
This Company, Optimal Health Products LLC is a scam and I wish I would have checked this site prior to ordering a sample of Garcinia junk – that’s what it is. I ordered in October 2016 and by early November the product was making me ill. I tried to call, but after 25 minutes on hold i gave up… On 1/18/17, I finally got to speak to a live person, Angelina, and she informed me the company does not provide reimbursements, if the product makes you ill.
I feel this company has stolen $160 from me. I ordered a $3 supplement from them 6 weeks ago, and today was charged an additional $100 and $60 amounts. I had no knowledge that this was a contract… Apparently when you place your order, there are long contracts that you aren’t actually able to see during the ordering process, and they lock you into a contract that autorenews your order, and charges you. This is, unless, of course, you let the company know that you didn’t like the product before it ships… They have a lot of legalese at the bottom of their cancellation email which tries to scare you against doing a chargeback. This lets you know that swindling people into this deal is their normal mode of business, if they have to put this disclaimer at the bottom of their auto-response to a cancellation… $160 is a lot of money, and it should be illegal for companies to be getting away with this type of crooked business.
They sign you up for a product a the low price of $2.99 then start charging you from your bank information $100.00. I wonder how people sleep at night ripping off hard working people on a daily basis. Karma will catch up with them eventually.
I have not opened this product and was charged on my credit card for using it. The customer service said to get a refund I would need to send back the product unopened so I said I would. I asked how to send it back and I was told I was lying and they would not tell me how to send it back. I sat on the phone for over an hour every night trying to cancel and conveniently 2 days after they charged my card I finally got a hold of someone.
On the official product website, Optimal Health Products claim that SlimFit 180 is protected by a money-back guarantee. Customers can apparently call customer service within 30 days of purchase to receive a return number, and may then send the product to a return address for a full refund (minus shipping and a 15% restocking fee).
However, the evidence recorded on the Better Business Bureau and in numerous customer reviews suggests that this policy does not happen in practice. Customers looking to return their product are often tied up in long calls to customer service, and the company’s policy appears to be to deliberately make the process as difficult as possible. More than one customer has stated that the company used delaying tactics (such as failing to find the “customer’s account” or putting them on hold for 40 minutes or more) until the point at which the product was no longer legally return-able. The returns address listed for SlimFit 180 is the same 3rd party address shared by numerous scams.
SlimFit 180 is available to buy on a few dedicated product sites. The most prominent of these only sells the supplement alongside a diet package that includes books, DVDs, magazines, and website access.
A 12-month supply of SlimFit 180 with all the extras costs $399.60, although customers can also opt to pay 10 payments of $56.72. We were unable to find out how many bottles of SlimFit 180 each option gives you, although it appears that the first option gives you 12 bottles and the second, more expensive option gives you 10. Customers may also opt for the free trial, although this is HIGHLY discouraged; although customers are only liable to pay a few dollars at the outset, many customers find themselves charged an additional $160 for failing to understand Optimal Health Products’ deliberately misleading “legalese”.
