What You Need To Know About Tease Tea Triple Teatox

Although it is not well advertised, the two tea blends are also available separately on the official website. The daytime blend is called “Skinny in the City”, whilst the evening blend is called “Triple Teatox”.

What Are The Side Effects Of Tease Tea Triple Teatox?

There are two teas that make up this detox, an energy boosting daytime tea that contains caffeine, and a night-time tea that is caffeine-free, but primarily consists of senna, a laxative.

Laxatives can cause numerous side effects and longer term issues if they are used incorrectly, or taken too often. Constipation, diarrhoea, dehydration and stomach cramps are all possible side effects of taking laxatives such as senna. The full information about the potential side effects of this product can be found below under the Side Effects Tab.

How Much Does Tease Tea Triple Teatox Cost?

Tease Tea Triple Teatox costs $49.00 for a 15-day supply, or $65.00 for a 30-day supply when purchased from the official website. The product is also available as the two separate teas on the official website, for anyone who wants to continue taking just one of the two teas included in the Teatox.

Tease Tea Triple Teatox is also available from amazon. A pack of the 30-day detox costs $29.99, plus shipping charges. A pack of the 15-day detox costs $19.99 plus delivery charges. Anyone who has an Amazon Prime Membership can get free two-day delivery.

Our Verdict On Tease Tea Triple Teatox

We are not keen on Teatox products in general, especially when they contain laxatives. Laxative products do not aid weight loss or affect fat mass at all, and many medical professionals and medical bodies (including the Mayo Clinic) agree that people do not need to detox, as healthy bodies are more than capable at detoxing themselves naturally. Despite this, the manufacturers state that the tea will remove toxins and detox your internal body.

The manufacturers of Tease Tea Triple Teatox gloss over the numerous different side effects that could be caused by the evening tea; laxatives should not be used for more than 2 weeks at a time, ideally less, making it incredibly irresponsible for the company to offer a 30-day pack.

There is no money-back guarantee, and the returns policy is incredibly restricted, allowing only for returns on products that arrive damaged. The 30-day pack offers better value for money than the smaller pack, but it is still a relatively expensive product for a tea. The two teas used are also available separately at a lower price.

Overall, we do not recommend Tease Tea Triple Teatox to our readers.

Tease Tea Triple Teatox Review

Tease Tea Triple Teatox is a detox product that consists of two different blends of tea, one for daytime use, and one for use during the evening. The daytime tea contains yerba mate, a type of tea that contains caffeine and is high in antioxidants, as well as some flavouring ingredients. The evening tea, on the other hand, is caffeine-free, but contains senna to help encourage increased bowel movements as a part of the ‘detox’ process.

Does Tease Tea Triple Teatox Work?

The manufacturers of Tease Tea Triple Teatox make a lot of claims about the benefits of the detox, some of which have more merit than others.

Many medical bodies agree that detoxing is not necessary at all, as the body is more than capable at detoxing itself. The evening detox tea will definitely increase the regularity of bowel movements, and could lead to the impression of weight loss, as the consumer will quickly lose a small amount of weight (temporarily) from water weight and from going to the toilet more often. However, it is not a long-term solution to bloating or weight control, because of the laxative ingredients.

The daytime tea primarily consists of yerba mate, which does have numerous benefits, including causing a slight increase in metabolism and aiding calorie burning. However, drinking two cups of the tea per day is unlikely to cause significant or even noticeable weight loss, unless used in combination with other dieting measures. If the consumer is replacing high-calorie drinks with these teas, then this may contribute to their weight loss, as the tea has negligible calories.

What Are The Ingredients of Tease Tea Triple Teatox?

The ingredients used in Tease Tea Triple Teatox are detailed below. There are two different teas that make up the Triple Teatox, a daytime tea and an evening tea. The ingredient quantities are not provided at all. The product is a loose-leaf tea, and so consumers have to measure out the product themselves.

Does Tease Tea Triple Teatox Have Any Side Effects?

The daytime blend contains yerba mate, which contains some naturally-occurring caffeine (around the same as in a cup of black tea). Consuming large quantities of caffeine can lead to headaches, increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, heart palpitations, increased urination, dehydration, jitteriness, dizziness and insomnia.

The evening blend contains caffeine-free Green tea, which can cause constipation. However, the main source of side effects is most likely to be senna.

Senna is a stimulant laxative; sennosides, the active ingredient in senna, are activated by natural bacteria in the large intestine. These then stimulate the nerve endings in the large intestine, causing the muscles in the intestinal wall to contract, encouraging movement through the bowels. This can cause painful stomach cramps.

The most common side effect of taking a laxative product is a change in bowel habits. Some people may experience frequent loose stools and increased bowel movements, while others may find that their bowel movements stop completely. Dehydration is also a common side effect, as the body is expelling more water from increased bowel movements. Headaches and constipation are two side effects that may occur due to dehydration. Some people may experience diarrhoea, depending upon their own diet as well as the strength of the product they are using.

Over-reliance upon laxatives can also cause dependency, as the muscles in the colon become weaker. This is one of the main reasons why the product is only for occasional or short-term use.

In general, side effects of laxatives are temporary, and will only last whilst the product is being used. Side effects can be minimised by drinking plenty of water throughout the day (rather than a large amount all at once), and altering the dosage of the product used. Altering your diet may also help, by increasing the amount of high-fibre foods, fruit and vegetables that are being eaten daily. It is better to change diet habits and prevent constipation in this manner, rather than treating regularly occurring constipation and dietary problems with laxatives.

Perhaps the most serious worry of using laxatives is that they can cause an electrolyte imbalance in the body. Calcium, chlorine, magnesium, phosphate, potassium, and sodium are all obtained from fluids, supplements, and foods, but increasing fluid output can decrease their levels in the body- even sweating due to exercise can significantly lower electrolyte levels. Side effects of low levels of electrolytes include muscle cramps, dizziness, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, trembling, muscle weakness, and stiff or aching joints. In the most severe cases, more serious symptoms can occur, such as low blood pressure, tachycardia (rapid heart rate), sunken eyes, confusion or loss of consciousness for even a brief moment, and poor skin elasticity. If any of these occur, a medical professional should be consulted immediately.

Women who are taking the contraceptive pill should be aware that the use of laxatives can interfere with the absorption of the tablet, which could obviously reduce the effectiveness of the contraceptive. Other medications may also be affected by this problem.

Caution:
Do not exceed recommended dose. This product contains senna leaves. This product is not intended for pregnant or nursing mothers or children under the age of 18. Do not use this product if you have abdominal pain, diarrhoea or loose stools. Rectal bleeding and/or failure to have a bowel movement after the use of a laxative formula may be an indication of a more serious condition. Should this occur, or if you have a known medical condition and are taking medication, consult your physician prior to taking this or any dietary supplement.

Are There Any Customer Reviews For Tease Tea Triple Teatox?

There are hundreds of customer reviews for this product both on the official website and on the amazon sales page. The majority of customer reviews are positive, but there are some customers who had issues with the tea, including its taste.

I have been using this tea for 8 days and all it has done is made me feel worse. It hasn’t helped me like the other reviews have stated it would. The first day I was super excited to use it, and then when I put the tea in my cup, the small “seeds” fell out through the holes. I end up chewing my tea more than drinking it and that’s just the beginning. It’s absolutely disgusting and definitely not worth the money. I will not be purchasing more, and I definitely won’t be finishing the tea.

I’ve been taking this triple teatox for about a week and a half with diet and exercise of course, but with my first week taking it I lost 4.5 lbs. I highly recommend it I had been stuck at a point where I wasn’t gaining or losing weight and this tea really is helping me.

Love it! I had looked at other teatox products and decided to go with this one for the fact the price wasn’t bad and they include the tea infuser with it (very cute)! I have been using my 2 for about 2 weeks now and I feel great. IT IS NOT A WEIGHT LOSS MIRACLE, but my skin looks great, the AM does give me a fresh morning boost and the pm helps me wind down for the day and I do notice way less bloating the next day, I have changed just a few eating habits and have lost a few pounds! Taste is pretty good of both products. if you are sensitive to laxative type products it may take you a bit to adjust to the night time one but I had no problem! I’ll buy again!!

Sorry if this is TMI…
I would like to note that my experience was not the rule but the exception; I used this for a week and ended up going to my doctor for rectal bleeding.
The daytime formula of this product contains Senna which is the property that allows for regular bowel movements and reduces bloating. BUT Senna is POSSIBLY UNSAFE when used long term or in high doses. Don’t use Senna for more than two weeks. Longer use can cause the bowels to stop functioning normally and might cause dependence on laxatives. Additionally it can cause excessive blood in the stool. Knowing this, I am perplexed as to why this is a 30 day cleanse. PLEASE if you have any issues back there, check with your physician before use!
Clearly it was returned and I appreciate the no hassle return policy Amazon offers. Had it not been for that serious issue, it was working; regular “movements”, reduced appetite and more energy.
