Warrior Princess Blaze Facts

  • Made in Britain in a traceable manufacturing facility by Body Building Warehouse.
  • Each bottle contains 60 capsules.
  • Although this supplement is aimed at women, it is essentially the same supplement as Warrior Blaze Reborn.

Warrior Princess Blaze is a fat burner supplement that is aimed at women who are looking to maximise their work outs and get slim, fit and strong.

The idea is that you use this supplement in combination with training so it will not suit you if your idea of a work out is a gentle walk or swim!

This supplement is a sister product to the better known Warrior Blaze Reborn and like the men’s version, contains a range of stimulants and herbal extracts in a proprietary blend called the Elite Class Thermogenic Formula.

The principle ingredient is caffeine, listed as caffeine anhydrous but is also present in the green tea and green coffee bean extract that also makes up this supplement.

Warrior Princess Blaze also contains bitter orange extract for extra stimulant firepower. This natural extract contains a chemical called synephrine, which affects the central nervous system. It can help reduce appetite because it increases the stress hormones making you feel too on edge to eat as well as full of energy.

The caffeine / bitter orange combination is common in diet pills and as with Warrior Blaze Reborn will cause the main stimulant energy enhancing effects of this supplement. This will not suit everyone and if you have any health issues especially around heart or blood pressure, you will need to avoid.

The other ingredients are well known as having benefits for weight loss. These include capsaicin – red chilli pepper extract which can act as a natural thermogenic if taken in sufficient quantities.

Warrior Princess Blaze also contains 5HTP (5-Hydroxytryptophan) a chemical extract from amino acid L Tryptophan which helps increase the brain’s feel good hormone serotonin. It contains black pepper extract known to enhance the absorption of other ingredients, making them more effective.

The final ingredients are L Tyrosine and L Carnitine, both important amino acids that may improve mental performance and boost athletic ability, and Chromium a trace mineral that may help manage blood sugar levels.

Apart from the name and the label there do not appear to be many differences between Warrior Princess Blaze and Warrior Blaze Reborn.

Both supplements contain the same Thermogenic formula at exactly the same strength. Warrior Princess Blaze is not a “lite” version of Warrior Blaze Reborn and it does not contain any female specific ingredients.

Warrior Blaze Princess is a Body Building Warehouse own brand. This British company market a wide range of bodybuilding supplement brands such as MuscleTech and USN as well as manufacturing their own brand of Warrior Supplements in Manchester.

Other Warrior Princess products include Rise, a diet whey protein powder and Warrior Princess Shine a supplement for healthy hair.

Body Building Warehouse are a reputable company. You can contact them by phone or email and they provide their full address. The company are not associated with any scams or billing issues.

We covered the men’s version of this supplement, Warrior Blaze Reborn in a previous review.

Warrior Princess Blaze Concerns:

  • The side effects. These could be dangerous for some people and many customers have complained
  • Contains unknown quantities of caffeine and synephrine.
  • Could be a waste of money if you buy this and then are unable to take it.

What Does Warrior Princess Blaze Claim To Do?

According to the product information:

The ingredients within Warrior Princess Blaze have been scientifically proven and approved by the European Food Safety Authority

This is an impressive claim so we looked into it. We found that this claim was not true for all the ingredients.

As an EFSA report concluded about Capsaicin:

…the Panel concludes that a cause and effect relationship has not been established between the consumption of capsaicin and maintenance of body weight after weight loss.

However, EFSA has stated:

  • Caffeine has been shown to increase alertness
  • Caffeine has been shown to increase attention
  • Chromium contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism
  • Chromium contributes to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels

The product information concludes:

Warrior Princess Blaze is an advanced weight management formula designed to help women achieve incredible results.

So What Is Warrior Princess Blaze and What Are The Ingredients?

Warrior Princess Blaze is a Fat Burner diet pill aimed at female athletes and gym goers.

Each capsule is equal to one serving. We cannot provide a full ingredients breakdown because the ingredients come under a proprietary blend.

Elite Class Thermogenic Formula (557mg):

  • Caffeine Anhydrous: As verified by EFSA, caffeine is a stimulant that can increase energy and alertness. It can increase the speed of the metabolism and help fat burning but the effects are often short lived as you become accustomed to use and build up tolerance.
  • Capsicum (8:1 Hyper-Strength Extraction): There is no real evidence that capsicum is effective for weight loss; however, it is a natural thermogenic, as anyone who has ever eaten a hot curry will know. Chilli pepper can help you sweat and in one small test, it was found that eating 5g (5000mg) of chilli increased the metabolism for 30 minutes. Capsicum lacks any real evidence according to EFSA.
  • Bitter Orange Peel: Also known as Citrus Aurantium, this stimulant contains synephrine, which is well known for raising the heart rate and increasing blood pressure. It is billed by many as a way to increase the metabolism in place of banned substance ephedrine and it acts in a similar way by increasing adrenaline levels. This in turn can decrease your appetite. In high levels, synephrine is not safe and can cause heart palpitations and a whole range of side effects. It has been linked to causing heart attacks and strokes. Amount in this supplement unknown.
  • L-Tyrosine: Amino acid, which you can obtain through diet if you eat meat. It is believed to help training and is popular with body builders for this reason. L Tyrosine raises adrenaline levels and can make you feel too on edge to eat. This amino acid is believed to stimulate brain chemicals serotonin and dopamine and is sometimes taken to treat depression.
  • L-Carnitine: This natural substance is similar to an amino acid and is present in all cells of the body where it helps the body use fatty acids to produce energy. Some research suggests that Carnitine supplements can improve exercise performance by reducing muscle glycogen usage and lactate – an enzyme that accumulates during exercise and leads to fatigue. Other research suggests it may improve memory and depression.
  • 5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP): Naturally occurring amino acid and precursor to the neurotransmitter serotonin, the brain chemical that affects mood, appetite, and sexual behaviour. When serotonin is low, it can lead to depression, comfort eating and low mood. There is not much evidence to prove all the claims about 5HTP but trials have found that doses of 50-3000 mg daily for 2-4 weeks can improve symptoms of depression. Amounts contained in this supplement are unknown.
  • Green Tea (20:1 Hyper-Strength Extraction): When combined with caffeine, green tea appears to increase metabolism and may have a natural fat burning effect. Green tea is rich in antioxidants and has many benefits to general health.
  • Green Coffee (40:1 Hyper-Strength Extraction): Green coffee is derived from raw unroasted coffee beans and believed to increase fat oxidation and the metabolism. However there has been little clinical testing and many of the claims are based on seriously flawed evidence.
  • Bioavailability Catalyst (Piper Nigrum): Black pepper extract is believed to increase the absorption of other ingredients so may make them more effective.
  • Chromium: This is a trace mineral so your body requires very little of it. Chromium has been investigated as a treatment for diabetes. According to EFSA, it contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism and the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels. However, EFSA concluded that adequate chromium could be obtained by diet.

So What Does All This Mean?

Without detailed ingredients information, the effects of the individual ingredients of this supplement are hard to call. However we can predict a stimulant effect from the caffeine and bitter orange extract so if you are looking for an energy kick, Warrior Princess Blaze will probably deliver. You may find that this also decreases your appetite too.

We cannot see much evidence for the other ingredients. 5HTP may help increase serotonin but the clinical trials are not very conclusive regarding serving size.

Green coffee extract is unlikely to do much either because there is just no evidence for it.

The Warrior Princess Blaze product information has made a point of mentioning chromium and its approval by the EFSA without mentioning that the conclusion was that most people received adequate chromium by diet alone so supplementation is unnecessary.

Any Warrior Princess Blaze Reviews From Customers?

There is some positive feedback for Warrior Princess Blaze. Many customers seem happy with this supplement.

One customer bought Warrior Blaze for himself and Warrior Princess Blaze for his girlfriend:

She’s been getting wonderful results using it. She’s been much more active since she started using it, and she seems to be in a better mood as well, and she’s started slimming down some. We’re both really happy with this product.

Absolutely amazing!! I could feel the effects after taking my first one :)… Massive energy boost, I am able to train longer at the gym & never feel hungry. I would recommend these to anyone!!

Not everyone is pleased. Some customers have found the capsules too strong.

It does really work but I don’t know about taking 2 capsules. It makes me feel awfully nauseous and gives me a burning feeling in my stomach. However, if I only take one, the side effects seem to ease off.

A high number of customers have reported side effects.

Horrible made me feel sick and gave me a burning sensation in my stomach not worth it

Not sure these work and they left me feeling quite sick until I got used to them, this took approx two weeks.

One customer noticed no difference at all.

Not seen any change or felt any different energy wise.

So Does Warrior Princess Blaze Work?

We think Warrior Princess Blaze may help some people – that is if you are looking for an energy boost to assist with training.

However many people have had a problem with side effects and this is not surprising. We all have different tolerances to stimulants especially caffeine so how it works will largely depend upon your own physical makeup.

The truth is that not everyone can cope with stimulants and they can leave you feeling nauseous and on edge.

The other weight loss ingredients may have a slight effect but do not expect miracles. Green coffee bean is not proven to work and although the other ingredients look relatively safe, without knowing the amounts combined with the lack of clinical evidence, it is all looking a bit iffy.

Watchdog Verdict

Warrior Princess Blaze has some good points going for it. It has attracted some positive customer feedback and the Body building Warehouse is a reputable company who will not rip you off or trick you into auto billing scams. In addition, we like that this supplement is manufactured in the UK and is fully traceable.

However, there are some drawbacks to using. Many of the weight loss ingredients are unproven and we hate that we cannot see the accurate ingredients profile. This supplement contains possibly very high levels of caffeine and this combined with synephrine will be potentially dangerous for some users. The stimulants will be the principle effect and for many people this just isn’t safe.

Without knowing the full ingredients breakdown we feel that safety may be an issue so we cannot really recommend it to anyone else to try.

We have no other option but to reject Warrior Princess Blaze.
