WellBeing Pro T5 Black Ultimate is a unisex fat burner supplement that is aimed at increasing energy, reducing appetite, and promoting weight loss. It contains a blend of ingredients including caffeine for the stimulant effect, plus some amino acids, and herbal extracts including green tea and grape extract.
WellBeing Pro or WBP is a British company based in Maidstone Kent. The company sells via a website with products also available on Amazon UK.
WellBeing Pro T5 Black Ultimate is marketed as a hardcore fat burner and appetite suppressant, but with the major effects most likely originating from the caffeine content, there does not seem much to recommend it. You can buy the supplement via Amazon in a variety of size options including a sample size, and with an advertised guarantee, it does seem to be fairly risk-free. A good point about T5 Black Ultimate is that it is made in the UK. If you need to contact the company regarding the guarantee, you can phone them on 01622 609231.
A few customers have mentioned side effects. These are mostly in line with high caffeine content and include headaches, palpitations, rapid heartbeat, heartburn, dizziness, chest pains, and stomach pains.
Other side effects may include increased anxiety, jitteriness, and insomnia.
You should contact your doctor before use, especially if you have an underlying health concern or are taking prescription medication.
If you are concerned about your thyroid health, seeing a doctor for advice will be much better than taking this OTC supplement that contains iodine.
T5 Black Ultimate is not expensive and you do have numerous buying options. Serving size is between 1 to 2 capsules a day, so how long each pack will last will depend upon how you use it.
Buy from Amazon and shipping is free. Prices are as follows:
You can buy a 3-day sample size for £3.49.
The supplement is also available in bottles. This is slightly more expensive and costs £25.43 for two 60 capsule bottles, or £90.00 for three bottles (180 capsules).
You can also buy T5 Black Ultimate via the WBP website from between £7.99 and £35.00. Shipping costs are not specified, and it is not known whether WBP ship outside the UK.
WBP T5 Black Ultimate is a unisex fitness supplement that is aimed at increasing energy, reducing appetite, and promoting weight loss. It contains a blend of ingredients including caffeine for the stimulant effect, plus some amino acids, and herbal extracts including green tea and grape extract.
There is Beta Alanine – an amino acid that may help increase endurance because it widens blood vessels, L Phenylalanine, a plant-derived amino acid that is supposed to boost mental energy. In addition, there are vitamins and chromium as a mineral which may help your body regulate sugar.
The final ingredient is iodine an essential mineral that your body needs to manufacture thyroid hormones. The thyroid gland controls the speed of the metabolism, so the thinking is that tweaking this gland will improve the way your body functions and more importantly, the speed at which it burns off fat.
There are two thyroid hormones; triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4), and because these hormones play a major role in the control of the metabolism, the T5 name was dreamed up by a diet pill company somewhere and the name has stuck.
These days, supplements described as “T5” often just mean strong and stimulant based. However, T5 Black Ultimate does actually contain iodine, so the name does make sense in this case. Check out the ingredients tab to find out more.
WBP T5 Black Ultimate is a British supplement. According to the product information, it is manufactured in the UK and WellBeing Pro is a British company based in Maidstone Kent. You can contact the company by phone on 01622 609231 which is good, and the company are open about their location.
Although you can buy supplements from the WBP website, the site looks very neglected. The most recent blog post dates back to 2016, and the product pages are not very high quality with numerous typos and weird font choices that make this company look extremely dated. None of this reflects well upon the supplement – it looks as if the company can’t be bothered. And although the Facebook page looks better, the last post was over 6 months ago when they suddenly stopped posting.
The official product page on the website didn’t make much sense, so we looked at the Amazon page. It wasn’t much better.
According to the product information, the key features are:
The product information explains how the formula works but provides no real details, such as with this example:
“This high performance product contains both caffeine and beta-alanine in their optimum dosage levels. Caffeine is known for its world famous energy properties, while beta-alanine is a naturally occurring amino acid that lets you work out for longer by delaying muscle fatigue”
The iodine is explained:
“Despite your best dieting and exercise efforts, there are times when the weight just won’t budge. In many cases, this can be a direct result of the thyroid gland not functioning correctly. To prevent this issue from occurring, this multi- purpose supplement contains iodine, which helps to regulate thyroid function and improve the body’s production of thyroid hormones.”
We think it is unlikely to work as described. That said, you may notice an energy buzz from the caffeine and if you are already tired or stressed, you may find that the L Tyrosine helps you through, but although the other ingredients can be effective, serving sizes here are inadequate.
Many people take Beta Alanine as a pre-workout ingredient. It comes backed with some solid evidence that it can boost endurance and reduce fatigue, but the problem is that this amino acid is usually taken in doses between 2000mg and 5000mg, rather than just 100mg as here. Many of the other ingredients are also in low quantities.
The iodine content may help increase the speed of your metabolism if it is slow, but if you are working out and exercising, this is unlikely to be the case here. In addition, if you have the symptoms of low thyroid function such as weight gain, fatigue, and sluggishness, you should see a doctor for advice rather than turn to an OTC supplement. There are concerns that taking iodine supplements could alter the way that your thyroid works, which could lead to symptoms including weight gain!

Caution: Not suitable for individuals under 18. Avoid if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Speak to your doctor first if you have any underlying health conditions or are taking prescription medication.
There are around 50 customer reviews on Amazon, and overall opinion is not very positive. However, there are some positive comments such as:
Very good, would recommend
This customer also liked the pills, although mentioned the rise in heart rate and headaches.
This is the best supplement I have ever tried – and I have tried quite a few. Gave me slight headaches in the beginning (due to increased heart rate), but then my body adjusted to it. I was able to push myself more and achieved results faster. Really works if you train regularly – don’t expect magic otherwise. I train early in the morning and this keeps on the edge until early afternoon, then energy levels drop. You’ll need to eat regularly to keep your energy levels up, otherwise you’ll be drained.
Some customers felt they were no better than caffeine pills.
…they seem to be nothing more than strong caffeine capsules.
A few people have mentioned side effects,
Gave me really bad headaches heart burn & a racing heart beat not for me
Some customers have noticed no difference between taking and not taking.
Waste of money
There is an advertised money-back guarantee that simply says,
“Love It or your Money Back, no Questions Asked. Simply contact us with any Concerns you may have and a Refund will be arranged.”
You can contact the company via Amazon, by phone on 01622 609231 or by Facebook Messenger.
You can buy T5 Black Ultimate from the official WellBeing Pro website. It is also on sale via Amazon UK.
WBP Pro T5 Black Ultimate is marketed as a T5 Fat burner that will improve the way your thyroid hormones regulate your metabolism, enabling you to burn off fat faster. In addition, it is supposed to reduce your appetite. We are not impressed.
If this supplement does reduce your appetite this will be largely down to the caffeine content, making you feel wired and jittery which is not a pleasant or healthy way to lose weight. Taking iodine supplements is not without risk and many of the other ingredients, although good, are in too small quantities to work.
This supplement is cheap. But in many cases, we do get what we pay for and in our opinion, this is a fairly low-quality supplement that may cause side effects. We would not take it ourselves so we do not recommend it to the Watchdog readers.
