Xenadrine Core comes with a long list of instructions for how best to use the diet pill:
To assess your tolerance, start with 1 capsule, once daily for the first two days, and then move to 1 capsule, twice daily 30-60 minutes before your two largest meals (e.g. breakfast and lunch).
The product label states:
The official website provides a bit more description, stating:
NEW Xenadrine Core was designed for hardcore workouts, hardcore intensity, and most importantly, hardcore results! Featuring novel sensory ingredients: Sacred Lotus (Nelumbo nucifera), Gotu Kola, Perilla Leaf Extract and Caraway Seed Extract. Plus caffeine anhydrous to deliver an electrifying thermogenic sensation.
The ingredient quantities below are provided per capsule. The formula is made out of a proprietary formula, but the company does list some of the quantities for a selection of the individual ingredients.
The two main weight loss ingredients used in this diet pill are green coffee bean extract and caffeine, both of which have support from clinical studies. White kidney bean extract is clinically proven to aid weight loss, but only when used in much higher doses than are available from taking two capsules of Xenadrine Core. Therefore it may not make much difference to weight loss.
This is further suggested by the official website failing to mention the inclusion of this ingredient in its hyped up promotional material.
The rest of the ingredients are not directly involved with weight loss, but are ‘sensory’ and mood improving. In theory, by reducing bloating, improving metal clarity, and improving health markers such as triglyceride levels and cholesterol levels, dieters should feel healthier and more motivated to continue with their weight loss journey.
Caffeine can cause a range of side effects including headaches, increased blood pressure, increased heart rate, heart palpitations, increased urination, dehydration, anxiety, jitteriness and insomnia.
Caffeine is present in this diet pill as both a separate ingredient and as a naturally occurring part of green coffee bean extract.
Whilst white kidney bean extract is only present in a small quantity compared to typical effective doses, it is still possible that consumers could develop some side effects from using the ingredient.
It is possible that whilst the body is getting used to the effects of the carb blocking ingredient, white kidney bean extract, users may experience stomach pains, increased bowel movements and flatulence. Some users of carb blockers in general report severe gas and bloating throughout their use of the products. Discomfort and tenderness in the stomach is not uncommon.
The use of carb blockers may seriously reduce or limit the creation of alpha-amylase, the enzyme that breaks down carbohydrates in the stomach. Whilst this will aid weight loss in the short term, it may become unhealthy to continue this in the long term. Some users report heartburn, as their body struggles to adapt to the imbalance of enzymes in the stomach.
Consumers who eat large amounts of carbohydrates whilst using the diet pill may experience sudden diarrhoea following meals. This is because of the large amount of food that is being passed through the digestive tract without being fully digested.
It is also possible that carb-blockers may interfere with vitamin absorption. Whilst in the short term, this may not cause significant health problems, the use of carb blockers should not be long term.
Not intended for use by persons under 18.
Do not use if you are pregnant or nursing.
Consult a medical doctor before use if you have been treated for, or diagnosed with or have a family history of any medical condition or if you are using any prescription or over-the-counter drug(s), including blood thinners.
One serving (1 capsules) of this product contains up to as much caffeine as 1.5 cups of coffee.
Caffeine sensitive individuals may experience the following symptoms, including (but not limited to) restlessness, nervousness, tremors, headache, anxiety, palpitations, increased heart rate, or difficulty sleeping.
Do not combine with other sources of caffeine.
Consult a medical doctor before starting a diet or exercise program.
Do not exceed recommended serving.
Improper use of this product will not improve results and is not advised.
Use only as directed.

There are numerous reviews for Xenadrine Core on Amazon, with many of the reviews being positive.
I have had very good success with this product, it is great at curbing hunger and gives you the full feeling. You do need to drink plenty of water but we should be doing that regardless. I really enjoy this product and have seen great results with inches. Not as much weight loss as I wanted.
This was by far the most powerful fat burner I’ve tried It helped my weight loss of 26lbs in 2 months mostly used as a preworkout but I’d recommend this product to anyone looking to shed to get your weight loss started this is the starter pack right here.
I have been taking this for about 3 weeks. I have tried so many diet pills, but so far none as easy as this. I do not have any side effects to complain about. Suppresses my cravings big time. No jitters. No upset stomach or queasiness, Instead, I have a lot of energy, small appetite, no snack attacks, and I sleep great and night. One pill 30 min. before breakfast and lunch and that’s it!!!
I am loosing inches. My pants fit better and some are loose. This works.
However, there are a few negative reviews for the product:
It didn’t really give me any energy as other products have, but I didn’t seem as lethargic as I was before when I was not taking it. It was nice in the fact it was one pill twice a day and didn’t keep me awake at night. It didn’t make me feel nervous. It suppressed my appetite soon after taking it which was great but wore off rather quickly way before the time I was to take the second capsule. I saw no difference in weight loss by taking it than I did with just diet and exercise alone.
I think this meant for people who are trying to lose ALOT if weight. I am needing to lose about 15lbs. I took one and made me Extremely sick. I love xenadrine products but this one was just to much for me.
I didn’t like how it made me feel. No extra energy and didn’t curb my appetite much at all. I’m sure it works for some people. Everyone is different.
Many of the customer reviews for Xenadrine Core are positive, but even amongst the positive reviews, consumers mention that whilst they notice huge boosts in energy, not everyone reports significant weight loss.
There are also some negative reviews, with some people stating that the two capsule daily dose is too strong for them, causing side effects such as jitters and insomnia. The ingredients list suggests that people may lose some weight from using Xenadrine, but effectively only two of the weight loss ingredients are present in sufficient quantities to make any difference to weight loss attempts.
The majority of the ingredients are not focused upon weight loss, and are described as ‘sensory’- whilst these ingredients could improve some other factors of the consumer’s health, they will not boost weight loss.
Xenadrine Core is available from amazon.com, and costs $47.20 per bottle, with free shipping. Each bottle contains 80 capsules, which is enough for a 40 day supply if used as directed. Consumers who cannot tolerate the maximum dose should stick with the initial lower dose recommended.
Currently the company can only ship within the USA. A1supplements also sell Xenadrine Core, with each bottle costing $38.95 plus delivery.
As Xenadrine products are only available through third party retailers, the individual returns policies and money back guarantees of the retailer apply to this product.
Overall, the reviews of Xenadrine Core suggest that people can and do lose weight with this product, provided that they are also dieting and exercising. However, whilst the ratings for this product are generally very high, customers praise the energy boost but are sometimes disappointed with their weight loss.
We feel that the manufacturers have made claims about the product’s strength that do not necessarily match the actual capabilities of the product, and that there is an over-reliance upon caffeine, which can cause side effects, and despite being clinically proven to aid weight loss, only causes a small increase in metabolism.
Based on the cost of the product as well, we believe that there are better options available containing caffeine and green coffee bean extract, as well as other known effective weight loss ingredients.
The manufacturers also fail to explain just how the ‘sensory’ ingredients work, and describes the ingredients as a ‘hardcore thermogenic formula’, despite only containing two incredibly well-known and commonly used thermogenic ingredients.
Overall, we believe that this product could be mildly effective, but is definitely overhyped by the manufacturer. There are many better thermogenic products available, which are more suited for effective weight loss and for use as a pre-workout energy boosting supplement.
We reject Xenadrine CORE.
