We take a look to see if XMam can fare any better than XMBurn, which we have already rejected.
According to the various distributer websites, “XMam is an important part of Zija’s groundbreaking Weight Management System”.
Customers are encouraged to purchase a pack of various different products from the Zija range, which are supposedly complementary to maximise weight loss. However, it is possible to purchase XMam as a single product, rather than as a part of a much more expensive package.
As we mentioned above, Zija is a multi-level marketing company, which primarily operates through independent distributers, who earn a commission from their sales of the company’s product range.
Independent distributers, by the nature of their job, can be quite pushy in selling products, especially in encouraging customers to sign up for auto-ship programs, and so we encourage consumers to fully research products independently before contacting distributers. Customers should also be careful to avoid taking healthcare advice from distributers, who are not trained in healthcare.
Zija International are based in Utah, in the USA. They can be contacted via the information provided here:

The manufacturers recommend that Adults take one capsule, preferably before exercise, on an empty stomach. Consuming late in the day may impair sleep. Do not take more than two capsules per day.
There are numerous claims made about XMam by the manufacturers. These include:
This unique system focuses on balance and energy, including healthy eating and consistent exercise. XMam utilizes the amazing health benefits of Moringa and other natural ingredients to kick-start your journey and help you finally achieve your weight management goals!
They also claim that XMam:
curbs your appetite to help you make smart food choices and control portion sizes throughout the day.
The Moringa oleifera blend provides a healthy dose of 90+ verifiable, cell-ready vitamins, minerals, vital proteins, antioxidants, omega oils, and other benefits.
Natural energy ingredients elevate your mood and boost your energy level without the aid of harsh stimulants or artificial ingredients.
The ingredients used in XMam are a proprietary formula, meaning that the company is not obligated to release the ingredient quantities used in their formula. This means that we have no idea how strong this product is, only that it contains an amount of each listed ingredient.
Moringa oleifera might have a great nutritional profile, but there is absolutely no evidence tying its use as a supplement to weight loss. The only way Moringa might affect weight loss is if it were eaten fresh as a low calorie food, as a part of a calorie restricted diet.
Green coffee bean extract, caffeine and citrus aurantium are all proven to aid weight loss, but without knowing how much of each ingredient is in each capsule, it is impossible to speculate how effective this diet pill may be.
The manufacturers of XMam make no mention of any potential side effects, other than describing the product as being effective “without the aid of harsh stimulants or artificial ingredients”. This statement is meant to suggest to the customer that the product has no side effects, but we suspect that this is not the case. Side effects can occur from even the most innocuous and natural of ingredients; we have detailed the possible side effects than can occur from the consumption of XMam’s ingredients below.
XMam contains green coffee bean, a source of caffeine, which is both a stimulant and diuretic. This means that it can cause increased urination, which can lead to dehydration and headaches if the consumer is not careful to drink enough water throughout the day. It can also cause increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, heart palpitations, dizziness and insomnia. Caffeine also boosts the effects of citrus aurantium, another of the ingredients used in XMam. Citrus Aurantium has been known to cause increased blood pressure, increased heart rate, heart palpitations and even heart attacks and stroke in otherwise healthy patients. The mayo clinic has stated that the risks of using citrus aurantium do not outweigh the benefits of losing weight, and has recommended that consumers avoid this ingredient.
Piperine, extracted from black pepper, is known to increase the uptake of other ingredients of diet pills into the bloodstream. This may enhance the effects of the other ingredients used in this diet pill, making them not only stronger, but more likely to cause side effects. It can also increase the absorption of other medications that the dieter is using, increasing the chances of side effects and even overdose of these medications. Those on prescription medication should consult their doctor before consuming any products that have piperine or Bioperine (the trademarked and patented form of this extract) in them.
Moringa oleifera is edible, and often eaten as a food. The leaves, fruit and seeds, used in this diet pill, are considered safe for use, but consumers should never eat the root (which is not used in this diet pill).
Caution: Not intended for use by persons 17 years or younger without the supervision of a health professional and parent/ guardian. Not for use by persons who are pregnant or nursing, caffeine sensitive, suffer from heart disease, high blood pressure, difficulty urinating, psychiatric condition, depression, recurrent headaches, a medical condition or are taking MAO inhibitor or ADHD drugs. Do not consume with alcohol, cold medicine/ drugs containing pseudoephedrine, ephedrine, PPA or other caffeine containing products. Consumption contrary to warning may cause adverse health effects. If unpleasant effects occur, discontinue use immediately.
The only reviews we could find for XMam were from forums debating over the entire Zija product range. The reviews we did locate were also written by those who were taking multiple Zija products. One of the reviewers was also a distributer.
There are also numerous reviews that do not expressly mention which Zija products they were using, and so we have chosen to leave out these reviews. However, it is very clear that a huge percentage of customer reviews for Zija products are actually written by distributers, who were typically sceptical at first before trying the product range, and being so impressed that they decided to buy into Zija themselves as an independent distributer.
I have never sold Zija or made any money from it. I chose to try it only because I had a couple of friends that had great results from it. Having said that I done the three step weight loss kit. It contained the xm+ drink mix, the xm am pills and the tea. I lost 30 pounds by doin nothing differnt that drinkin the mix in the mornings and taking the pill before lunch. I would only so the tea once a week or so. I quit taking it and continued eatting the way I had before so I of course gained 25 pounds back. I have recently started it back and have lost 5.5pounds in a week. I have more energy and it makes me feel better. I am not saying it will work for any or everybody all I know is it worked for me!
I lost 13 kilo since May using ZIJA XM+ the Am and PM Capsules and the Premium tea. I tried Smartmix in May and was so impressed with it I signed up to the business. Now my friends are finding that it is helping them too I also give it to all my Show dogs. I still need to lose another 20 kilo but Im on the way and that is the best thing
Whilst we should not need to state this, we would like to point out that Zija products are not intended for pets. Other distributers have also mentioned giving Zija products to their children- again, these products are NOT intended for use by those aged under 18, and medical advice should be sought before letting a child consume these products.
XMam is made of a proprietary mix of several ingredients, and so the manufacturers do not have to release the ingredient quantities used in each capsule. This makes it difficult to establish whether the clinically proven ingredients used in the diet pill are present in sufficient quantities to actually be effective.
The ingredient Moringa is most definitely not going to contribute to weight loss, despite the many claims made by the manufacturers and distributers. However, some of the other ingredients could aid weight loss, especially citrus aurantium, caffeine and green coffee bean extracts. On the other hand, we generally recommend that diet pill consumers avoid citrus aurantium because of the recommendations made by the Mayo Clinic. The available reviews do not really clear up whether or not XMam will aid weight loss, as they are biased and often financially motivated.
Overall, it seems that XMam can aid weight loss potentially, but its strength and effectiveness remain unclear.
Customers can use a guest account to purchase from the shop. Here a single box of 30 capsules costs $74.00. This site is clearly intended for company distributers, as the site also has multipacks of 7 or 15 XMam trial packs, priced at $74.00 and $149.00 respectively. These trial packs have four capsules per pack. There are also different packages available, with several different products grouped together. The larger bundles are called enticing names such as PlusPacks, SmartPacks and SuperPacks, but these are incredibly expensive, often costing over $250.
Customers can also purchase the products through a company representative, should they know one. They should ensure that the company representative is clear about whether or not you are being signed up to an auto-ship program or not. We strongly discourage people from signing up to any auto-ship program, because these are costly in the long term and often difficult to cancel.
The company offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, but only on unopened and unused products. However, customers have complains about the returns procedure, with some customers only being refunded 90% of the cost. Customers have also had trouble with being signed up to auto-ship programs without their consent, and having to pay to return the product that they had not knowingly ordered.
Depending upon usage, one bottle will last for 15-30 days. Considering the price, this is an incredibly expensive product. Add in that most new customers who sign up through an independent distributer are automatically signed up for an auto-ship program, and this product will quickly help to slim your wallet down.
XMam contains Moringa, and whilst the company promotes this ingredient, calling it “the miracle tree”, there is no clinical evidence linking it to weight loss.
The other ingredients are present in many other diet pills available on the market, at much cheaper cost. In addition to this, the presence of citrus aurantium means that there are a wide range of unpleasant potential side effects.
Clearly, the lengthy list above shows that we cannot recommend XMam.
